Il personale è stato sempre disponibile, la colazione era assortita per ogni esigenza e i proprietari mi sono venuti incontro in ogni domanda e richiesta che ho fatto. La camera era davvero confortevole e ottimi gli arredi.

Ormai sono anni che viaggiamo e alloggiamo in B&B e posso dire con certezza che ce ne sono pochi in giro come L'antico rudere, oserei dire meglio di alcuni hotel a 4 stelle. Gentilezza e disponibilità fuori dal comune... torneremo da loro quando avremo di bisogno. Siete a Cosenza? Alloggiate in questo B&B, non rimarrete delusi.

Mi è piaciuta l'accoglienza e l'aiuto che i proprietari ci hanno dato per rendere perfetta la nostra visita a Cosenza. Le camere erano pulite e dotate di tutti i confort. Letti comodissimi.Bellissimo poi fare la colazione sul grande terrazzo con vista sulla città dall'alto. Bravi ragazzi continuate così !!!

Room was comfortable and clean and I liked that it was a blackout room. We slept well.

Would have been good to have tea making facilities in the room, also the breakfast was very unhealthy, no fruit on offer for example.

Il posto e' stupendo, molto curato e con un attico bellissimo. Ma ciò che lo rende speciale e' la cura e la passione che i proprietari, aiutati dalle due collaboratrici, ci mettono nel gestire il b&b, facendo sentire l'ospite a casa. - Colazione artigianale a dir poco ottima, variegata e con ottime torte. - Camera con balcone, bagno in camera, SPAZIOSA-PULITA-COMODA. - L’ingresso è comodo per qualsiasi mezzo, cancello automatizzato, parcheggio custodito. Che dire.. CONSIGLIATISSIMO!

Casa acogedora, en zona muy tranquila, a unos pasos del centro histórico, dueños muy amables y atentos..

Room was great, simple and just what we needed. Host was lovely, very helpful and answered all our questions even with the language barrier! Breakfast was also super great.

There was nothing we didn’t like, we spent one night and it had everything we needed for that.

Little bit difficult to find but the greeting was very good. Room was very good and breakfast was OK. Limited pre packed items with juice, cereal, tea and coffee. Great views from the breakfast room. We were recommended places for an evening meal and went for Cantina Cosentina and it was the best meal of an 18 day Italy road trip. The price for the room and breakfast was amazing. Would recommend.

The property is in good condition and I really like the surroundings

You have a small practical room > nicely furnished in a modern style. There is sheltered parking and Mary is super nice. We were allowed to have a lunch in the breakfast room (we brought our own food), use everything and we had a wonderful view of the city on the river. We also had wine there in the evening and enjoyed the atmosphere and the beautiful view.

There are many LEDs in the room that shine brightly at night.

Giovanni and his wife were lovely hosts and I have no reason to complain. Moreover both were super kind with every question I had and they've let me utilise the terrace to work some hours after breakfast time. The place is perfectly located near the old town of Cosenza and the view from the terrace is phenomenal. 100% recommended.

Great place! Got my own bedroom and bathroom which were both very clean. Staff were very friendly and informative. Solid breakfast with nice views.

The room I stayed in was cold even with the windows closed. Wasn’t a big problem for me, just had to be under the sheets in the bed.

Although some reviewers have stated that the property is difficult to find, I had no issue - Giovanni sent me a map prior to my arrival and the location shown corresponded exactly with that shown on Google maps. The electronic gates opened as I arrived (I'm guessing that my hosts were watching for my arrival) and I was greeted by a very friendly Mary, who informed me that my room had been upgraded - I'd booked a room with an external bathroom, but was given an en-suite with a balcony (and the balcony had a roof - handy because of the wet weather - and an ashtray, which for me was a welcome bonus. The room was clean, with a comfortable bed equipped with mattress and pillow protectors and the bathroom had a good shower with toiletries provided; the fridge contained two complimentary 500ml bottles of water. The old town area is five minutes' walk away and there is a pizza restaurant / takeaway almost next door (closed during my visit), but the centre, where most of the restaurants, shops and bars are found, is 15-20 minutes' walk away. Car parking is on the premises behind electronic gates, with a control provided to each guest along with the keys. The breakfast room offers a great view across the river to the Norman castle. Breakfast was a selection of croissants, pastries and cakes, with cereals, orange juice and a tea/coffee machine.

The description states that all rooms have tea/coffee making facilities, but my room did not (in retrospect, I wonder if the facilities are not in the room itself, but upstairs in the breakfast room?). The wi-fi was difficult to sign onto, then patchy (this may have been affected by the weather). I found the controls on the air-conditioning difficult and in the evening could only get it to blow cold air (despite showing 28C!), but in the morning it worked perfectly (I still haven't figured out what I did wrong in the evening - I switched it on in the morning without changing the settings). The check-out procedure wasn't explained to me and I was wondering how to open the gate and return the key before it closed, until I spotted a drop box for key return on the side of the building.

Exceptional value-for-money in a beautiful converted building. A lovely welcome (English-speaking - my Italian is poor to say the least) and comfortable room. Great continental breakfast. A lovely over-night stay on my journey south - thoroughly recommended!

Very nice property with small courtyard parking which is gated and enclosed. Found it difficult to find. Walking distance to the old town. Nice room with small fridge (including 2 free bottles of water) good wi-fi.
