Excelente localização, muito perto da Caracoles mas silencioso. As meninas que ficam no hostal são prestativas e amáveis: Judith e Karina. O tamanho do quarto é bom para um casal e o chuveiro bem quentinho e com pressão, mas estávamos sozinhos no hostal, não teria como avaliar se aguenta outros hospedes tomando banho simultaneamente. Tem café da manhã e caso saia mais cedo, te deixam um lanchinho na noite anterior para levar. Tem uma cozinha para uso comum, mas não utilizamos. O Sol bate na parede do quarto que ficamos, como fomos em época fria, isso foi bem positivo, mas devem avaliar caso pensem em ir no verão. A dona disse que queria comprar ventiladores.. mas atualmente não tem nem ventilador nem aquecimento. As duas janelas do nosso quarto, davam para a área comum, por privacidade, não abrimos. Venda de água pelo mesmo valor que encontra na Caracoles.

O hostal precisa de modernização e decoração. Algumas coisas simples como deixar o ambiente branco e incluir saboneteira no box e ganchos no banheiro, e revisar itens que estão quebrados (nossa lixeira estava sem abrir pelo pedal), já melhorariam muito o quarto. Dos 4 dias que ficamos, só fizeram limpeza no 1 dia. No 2 dia ao encontrar a responsável pela limpeza questionei que não haviam limpado e ela disse que poderia fazê-lo naquele momento.. mas estávamos exaustos e queríamos descansar. Ou seja, parece ser necessário pedir. Mas o que pedimos era feito (trocaram a lixeira e esvaziaram o lixo). É uma opção apenas para quem quer ficar no burburinho com café, caso contrario existem outras opções melhores. Não tem wifi nem recepção. Ao chegar deve ligar para a proprietária que chamará a responsável pela limpeza/café. Para a gente não foi problema por morarmos no Chile, mas para um estrangeiro pode ser.

This hostel is one of the cheapest in San Pedro do Atacama and is very well located (less than 5 minutes waling from Caracolles), so the value is good. Cheers for Marta, who is a do-all in the hostal. She is very helpful, charismatic and dedicated. You can count on her for everything you need during your stay. Cleanliness is a strong point - the room is very well cleaned and organized everyday - and it makes difference when you get back tired after a tour. The communal space was great, had tables, sofas and a kitchen that can be used.

First, as mentioned in the description, it has no Wifi so you need to bring a very generous internet plan. Though the staff was helpful, they don't speak English, so you need to improvise your Spanish and ask them to speak very slowly. The beds were very soft and the room was on the smaller side, so it gets difficult to organize all the luggage and personal space inside - but you must remember that Atacama is a place to explore, not stay inside. The breakfast is ok only if you eat there during the breakfast time. The take away breakfast (which you will need for the tours) is very lacking. It is indeed well located, but the last 30 meters are very dark at night, so watch your step.

Very good located, near rua Caracoles. Good cost-benefit and the hotel keeper Gloria will always try to help. Breakfast ok. Also the breakfast area is good for stars watching at night.

Rooms doesn’t have good air circulation so it gets a little warm. No air conditioning. Wifi signal only near the entrance of the hostal.
