Our volleyball team stayed here while we attended a tournament. The house was awesome! many great memories made this weekend! i definitely recommend this place for those looking for a nice place with plenty of room!

Booked to host family for retirement oarty / engagement dinner. Both event went off without a hitch, the views in the mornings were stunning, the beach access was on point, and parking was surprisingly ample. Plus the hosts were amazing! Super responsive at every turn. 10/10 would definitely recommend!

We loved everything about this house— great location and close to the ocean. The bedrooms are upstairs and downstairs with the common areas on the main floor. This was perfect for our family— the adults with no kids were upstairs and the adults with kids were downstairs. We only had 9 in our party, but the multiple beds in each bedroom would have accommodated many more. The kitchen is well- stocked and all the windows in the house provided amazing views. Hunting sharks’ teeth on the beach was fun— we found several. Our grandchildren had never done that before. The hosts were very responsive when we had questions and we will definitely consider this home in the future.

Staying right on the beach was absolutely beautiful. It was our first Entire Fam Vaca! We made meals and ate together and just hung out. There were things advertised that were not working (outside shower and hose to rinse sand off, closet doors and bathroom light in basement) and areas that neded a good cleaning (especially the basement where my kids and grandkids stayed). We overlooked the neglect and completely enjoyed each others company!

It was right on the ocean. The house was great. Had everything we needed and more. Close to other things we wanted to visit. Easy to get to. We would highly recommend this house. Close to others but not too close. It was perfect!!

Everything about this stay was excellent. Communication and and understanding of the owners was very good and timely. The location was perfect - walked out the back door and we were basically on the beach. The online pictures of the house were very close to actual with the view being fantastic and it was just right for our four families with 5 young grandkids. It was hard for all of us to leave. Would highly recommend it.

We had a fabulous time. Great location. Property owners were prompt with responses to my questions. Will definitely be back. My favorite place to vacation!

The house worked well for our group of 4 older couples, the only issue we had was the downstairs shower which was difficult for an older person to get into and out of, and the tube was a bit slippery with no hand bars.

I ve been to a lot of beach properties and the views, esp the sunrise, were some of the best i ve ever seen. Very picturesque will remember for a long time to come 💕

I cannot say enough good things about this home and the owners! My husband and I just got married on the beach behind this home and invited close friends and family to celebrate with us afterward. The owners were amazing and agreed to allow us to have our intimate wedding (less less 30) at this house. We had 16 people sleep at the house and there were more than enough beds and bathrooms for everyone to enjoy their time comfortably. The view from the living room and the master bedroom upstairs was incredible! The owners were always quick to respond to our questions and were very kind and accommodating. We would 1000% stay here again for a family vacation!

Great time Clean Beautiful beach

We had a great time at the Oh Can You See house! It was clean, spacious, and the location is unbeatable. The hosts were responsive, though we had no issues. The palace is conveniently situated just a few minutes from a grocery and not far from Surf City for dining options, though the full kitchen meant we didn't need to eat out at all. We loved our time and would absolutely come back!

Our first visit to Topsail Beach and we loved the beach and the house. Beautiful house and it was practically on the beach. The owners are amazing. We had a few major issues and they provided a solution within 24 hours. One of the issues was the dryer not working, but they fixed it by purchasing a brand new dryer from Lowe’s and within 24 hours of the call we were up and running. (Adding this to our new checklist when arriving). Everything else was great.

This house fit our needs very well. Great common areas, yet plenty of room to escape for a while! We'd like to do it all over again but sooner than another 50!

Pros: -nice location -ample off-street parking -good beach access -nice deck overlooking the dunes and beach -great common area layout on main floor: multiple places to sit, drink and eat and visit, watch tv -lots of windows and light -house looks nice on the outside -nice master suite on top level Cons: -poorly maintained property overall apparently from years of neglect? -multiple cockroaches on upper and lower levels of house (owner notified and told us they were “palmetto bugs”) -dirty on arrival, owner notified, it was cleaned before our arrival but not adequately. Owner offered to have re-cleaned but this is inconvenient once settled, should have been done correctly in first place. -previous renters smoked on the top floor(owner notified) -multiple light bulbs throughout the property burned out -gas smell on first level led us to find a gasoline can without a lid on it inside the property -strange layout with two kids rooms on the top level -bottom floor rooms share a very tiny, single vanity bathroom -the dishwasher broke on the second day, replaced the following day -knob on range broken with no way to turn off range -no explanation of household procedures with respect to trash days, etc - weather stripping on the balcony door on the master suite completely missing, air and water easily leak into room -the hot tub appears to stay “on” at all times, no way to control it as the digital display malfunctions; it appeared to be set on max temperature -no written record that the hot tub had been properly treated with chemicals (I think this is a health dept requirement?) -propane tank on gas grill left with valve open in garage, owner notified -no clear instructions on how to access WiFi, everyone’s devices warned that it was an “unsecured network” and, therefore, could not connect. Alternate connection was available but owner did not inform us of this, discovered by default. -pool was 1/3 of a mile away and very small, not walkable with small children. Overall the negatives far outweigh the positives. Property has potential but very pricey for what you get, or don’t get…

We enjoyed our stay. Properties have everything we need. However, the refrigerator on the main floor which get used a lot is not cold enough so our food got spoiled faster than normal/expected. We could not find a way to adjust the temperature of the fridge.
