amazing hotel pool, great breakfast amazing outside felicities very nice room decoration and layout.

maybe it was the COVID time (December 2022) but without any info we had two days without room cleaning till I complaint and got the explanation to may people sick out. really complicated to find someone who actually speaks English in the hotel :( also the aircon was not working first days too warm with 24 degree doesn’t mater AC setting and last day dropped to 19. complaint at least 6 times they didn’t get it fixed.

Great facilities, clean rooms and unique design. Nice breakfast selection.

We chose this hotel for a one week getaway from Shanghai and it amazed us in any way. It‘s pretty new and the environmental friendly design is awesome. Everything is clean and well maintained. They have 3 big pools including the huge Skypool, which looks incredible and has due to the size even in summer a nice refreshing temperature. We never had trouble to find a free sunbed/cabana during our stay, even the hotel seems to be very full. Due to many options it was never overcrowded somewhere. You can find very good food/drink options even for western people like us. You have to try the Skybar which comes with a 360 degree view including sunset and ocean. Don’t forget to check the very good deals on Dianping! Last but not least I have to mention how nice the staff is. They are all super friendly and everywhere you can find somebody who can speak English. Beside this you can arrange everything on WeChat. I got contacts for every need, from ordering a beer to the pool to get a second yoga mat for our room. Special greets to JAY, the famous bar manager at the sky bar and ALLY who supported me with all my questions during the stay. We will come definitely again!!

i don’t usually do reviews but this hotel literally deserve it .. i spent 6 night in this hotel and in my opinion this hotel is the 2ed top hotels in sanya after the Sanya edition.. for the price it’s top hotel in sanya .. the swimming pool was warm and nice day and night .. room was clean and comfortable bed .. the decoration is nice, modern & perfect .. the children play room is very good well designed and safe for the kids .. the staff was very nice and friendly, breakfast was very very nice and so many options.. i do really recommend it and i will definitely stay here again

I did not know about the Green Room restaurant until the day I was checking out. No one even mentioned it, although i would have liked to have eaten the seafood there. All the staff have been extremely helpful. Very nice and rich breakfast. Spacious room. Children loved the swimming pool, the treetop house, the green areas.

We had a wonderful time at the hotel, the concept and the facilities exceeded our expectations. Excellent staff and service. We would definitely return. The beach is just a few meters from the hotel and it's easily accessible.

Great service! All senior staff could speak decent English. All staff went out of their way to make our stay more comfortable including food recommendations and late check out. The choice at the buffet breakfast was vast but there was no scrimping on quality. We saw them setting up the tables for the BBQ dinner on the terrace and were convinced to try it out. Romantic setting and delicious food, bonus that it included drinks. Kids weren’t allowed in the sky pool which was great for a more relaxing stay. Decor is stylish and everything was clean.

There was a notice about construction happening during our stay stating that it would only take place after 10am but some work started in the rooms around us early enough to wake us up. More options of food and drink (incl. alcohol) at the pool would have been nice.

There are so many things I liked about this hotel: - Overall design of the hotel - Sky pool and all the other pool areas (comfortable deck chairs) - Supernice and spacious room - Great breakfast buffet with fresh juices - Friendly staff - Aqua yoga class - Sustainable concept - Free cocktail at the sky lounge - Relaxing atmosphere

- Beach is not in walking distance (and swimming is not allowed at Haitang beach) - Maybe there's a way to reduce the use of plastic bottles in the room

Great food at all of the venues, though they could do a better job with poolside service and should add a pizza to the pool menu.

We were charged 36rmb for a broken water glass in our room. It was just 36rmb, but that was super cheesy considering we spent nearly 2000RMB/day over three days. Then they had me sign a piece of paper stating we were paying 36rmb for a broken glass. I mean come on? I would expect this from a 3-star hotel but this was a low class move from a high-end boutique hotel. Had I mistakenly dropped a glass in one of the F&B venues would they have charged me?

This was our second visit to 1 Hotel in the last 12 month. Breakfast on offer was quite good in keeping with a 5 star property. However lack of staff during the first 3 days meant service efficiency was somewhat impacted. We had a wonderful buffet dinner on our last evening by the pool side lawns which included a fire show by local artists and great music provided by a DJ. Staff attitude has always been very positive and ready to help when required.

This property does not have access to the beach which is quite a let down compared to most of the hotels on Haitang bay. We were told that happy hour drinks would be offered at the SKY BAR every evening from 6.30 pm. However there was only one cocktail on offer and hence we did not go back there again.

We loved hotel’s amenities, it’s attention to detailed design and eco-friendly system. The service from the staff was great during our stay! A day prior to our arrival I received a call from the customer service, Rebecca, and she asked us our preferences for the room, so she could prepare ahead and later asked if I could be added on wechat, which to be honest I hesitated for a second, but didn’t regret it since she was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay, making our stay even more memorable!

We loved the different swimming pool areas and the farm-to-table restaurant. Furthermore, the main restaurant team, especially Chef Pearl Woo were wonderfully accomodating and professional. The hotel has also been beautifully designed and is a delight to walk around.

The drink and food options at the different bars were quite limited. We were concerned with the treatment of the newly purchased rabbits and ducks for the kid's farm area, as they looked to be too hot with little access to clean water, which is essential for such animals but the team eventually understood our concern and seem to be taking good care of them.

What an amazing hotel. By far the best we’ve stayed at in China. We were upgraded to a room with nice ocean view. All rooms are very modern decorated, as is the hotel itself. All around the hotel you’ll find plants, even in your room. Breakfast is simply amazing and good variety between Chinese and Western. The sky pool is one of a kind and the sky bar offers great views, nice coctails and daily complimentary snack in the afternoon. Staff is very friendly and accomodating, note that not all of them speak English. We booked for two initially, but ended up staying for 8 nights. And still we didn’t want to leave.

A sign says that the sky pool is only for 16+ of age, however the staff is very inconsistent about enforcing this. Price/quality of the coffee at Drift is a bit off.

Everything in the hotel was perfect. I went to 1 Hotel with friends for 3 days for resting. We got super lucky as the weather was really great. 28 degrees in end December. The hotel nicely upgraded us to a better room so we could face the sea. Nothing to say in terms of cleaniness and services. The breakfast is by far much better than many 5 star hotel breakfast I did before. We really appreciated the fact that it was opened until 11am which allowed us to wake up later. The hotel has also a nice afternoon tea and fruits available all day long. Don't go if you want to lose weight !

Although the hotel has many swimming pools, some of them were closing really early and we were advised to only go for the main pool. Not a big issue though since there were really few people in the hotel during our stay.
