Upper East side Home near Lake Michigan
Shepard Avenue está llena de historia con cada casa que tiene una historia única. Nuestra casa se llama Herman Zillgett Duplex. Construido en 1926, es una casa adosada de 3 pisos con pisos de madera originales, gabinetes de porcelana empotrados y una chimenea de leña en funcionamiento. La casa ha sido actualizada para mostrar su encanto y aún así ser cómoda. Hay 4 dormitorios con 4 camas y 2. 5 baños. La casa se calienta con calor radiante y hay un calentador de espacio adicional en el tercer piso para mayor comodidad, junto con muchas mantas en toda la casa. Durante el verano, hay unidades de aire acondicionado de ventana en los pisos segundo y tercero.
La cocina está totalmente amueblada con platos, vasos, ollas y sartenes, utensilios, especias básicas, cafetera y molinillo con café Milwaukee local y agua filtrada.
La entrada a la casa es privada. Se ubicará una llave en una caja de seguridad para facilitar el registro.

My family and I very much enjoyed our stay here. As an avid walker, the ability to get out and enjoy a lovely morning walk each day was a perk. The neighborhood felt very safe. We also enjoyed some of the amenities that are close by with the location near UW-Milwaukee. The space allowed our group of 3 adults, 2 kids, one toddler, and one teen to be very comfortable. Will hopefully be able to stay here again.

Home is very charming and qas exactly as advertised. Neighborhood is quiet and beautiful. Close to the lakeshore, UWM, and within reasonable driving to 3rd Ward. Kristina was great at communicating. We had a great time while visiting for the weekend.

This is one my all time favorite stays! Came to Milwaukee for a fest. A short Uber ride got us to the lakefront festival. The neighborhood is absolutely beautiful. Our host was very pleasant and very willing to accommodate. Thank you so much Kristina!! Love your place!!!

Beautiful house and a great location. The furniture and beds were comfortable. We walked to Bradford Beach every day. The hosts were also very responsive. So glad we were able to rent this house. We will come back some day.

We had a wonderful time on our weekend. The location was excellent. We walked to Lake Michigan and a cute area nearby and ubered any other destinations. The home had everything we needed and was very comfortable.

Our extended family stayed here to celebrate my son's graduation from Marquette University and it was perfect in every way. Kristina was attentive to any needs or questions we had. The house was beautifully appointed and in a fantastic neighborhood. Highly recommend this house and Kristina!

We had an awesome stay! Large clean home with tons of character and all the conveniences of home. Several bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate large groups. Kristina was very welcoming and offered us a generous late checkout. Highly recommend this rental property.

Great Host!
The owners are just terrific. Despite some challenges caused by the city working on the water lines just outside the house, the stay went off without a hitch. They were communicative, responsive and very helpful.
The property itself was well appointed, having everything we needed for a pandemic-era "staycation" with my siblings (several senior citizens among the group).
So glad we found this property. It was perfect for us.

Was cold November weekend so mostly cooked in and enjoyed great gathering space. Host was accessible and responsive. 2 parking spots included which was nice and easy to add online permits for other cars with link given by host

Great place, great owner!
For our annual guys' trip we headed to Milwaukee and stayed at this property. It was perfect! Spacious bedrooms, great living room and dining room, ample kitchen, and with a corner lot it was nice to enjoy the outdoors. The neighborhood is very welcoming; there were always families playing outside and people walking around. Safe and comfortable.
It is also not far from most places we wanted to go which was very convenient. Rental scooters and Ubers were readily available. In addition, if you rent a car/drive to the property you have access to a garage space and a driveway space! Street parking is free on the weekends, but a bit tricky during the week.
Best of all, Kristina (the owner) was very helpful! We exchanged messages via the VRBO app, iMessage, and even a couple of phone calls. Very friendly and accommodating.
I would definitely stay here again!

Great for families or multiple couples!
Kristina is wonderful to work with from the beginning to the end! Our family enjoyed the spacious living room and dining room for together times and could all find alone time in our 4 bedrooms. The children’s playroom was an added bonus, being next to the grandparents (us!) and Mom & Dad. Parking was easy and plentiful- great location ! Will definitely book again when we’re in Milwaukee.

Milwaukee get away
Lovely neighborhood in wonderful location. Great home but we missed having central air in August. Only 3 of the 4 bedrooms have window units so the 4th bedroom was way too hot to use in the heat of summer.v

Great Time in Milwaukee
Group of friends did our annual guy trip to watch the SF Giants, and this year’s stop was for a weekend series in Milwaukee. This house was perfect for our group, and we had an amazing weekend. Only feedback would be to add in more fans throughout the house to improve air circulation (especiall in upstairs bedrooms). Hostesd is great, super friendly and helpful. Very nice neighborhood, was easy to get around all over town. Highly recommend this house.

Girls weekend in MKE
It was just as pictured and described - perfect for 4 friends to each have our own room and living areas big enough to lounge around in the morning and night. Great location for ubering to various MKE attractions - the neighborhood is gorgeous with stately older homes and townhouses-wish we had time to walk around! Hope to stay here again sometime!

Lovely property in a charming neighborhood
We recently drove to Milwaukee with our 3 grown kids from the suburbs of Chicago. Communication with Kristina was very prompt and she provided us with all the info we needed to check in. The home is in a leafy residential neighborhood, very quiet. It was very clean and had great character details. We enjoyed playing cards, watching the Bucs win their playoff game, and also alone time in our separate rooms. We walked to the store, restaurants, and drove to the beach and other sights. We loved Milwaukee and would love to come back and stay here again.

Great neighborhood and location. The home was thoughtfully stocked and prepared, very clean. It was understated. There are 5 usable bedrooms. We enjoyed the use of the home and used the kitchen for a family meal. Look forward to future visits.
