This vacation rental suited our needs perfectlly. The bedrooms and beds are comfortable with plenty of bathrooms and room to spread out. We thoroughly enjoyed the lake view and long sandy beach, and the beach chairs and paddle boards that were provided. And since it is just a short walk to canal park we took full advantage - walking to the lift bridge to see a ship come in, shopping in canal park, ice cream in the afternoons, and cocktails in the evening. In short, well done!

We had a short stay at this lovely home a month ago with our family. There were 9 of us and we all fit very comfortably in the home. I cannot express how wonderful the home was set up with everything we would need for our short stay. It was impeccably clean, plenty of towels, super comfy beds and plenty of space for gathering at the table or relaxing in the family room. The kitchen was loaded with every pot, pan, bowl or dish we needed. I packed a few of my own pans and did not even need them. We had a great time walking on the beach, hanging out on top of the garage with the fire pit, and exploring the northern shore. The owners were super helpful with a last minute unexpected accommodation that we are so grateful for. Thank you and we look forward to another visit to this beautiful escape!

The location is excellent. It's private, roomy and the kitchen amenities are abundant for a VRBO. Our only complaint is that in the evening, the lighting is a bit too abrasive as temperature of the lighting is very white and none of the bulb temperatures match. It gets to be a bit much. The house was very clean, easy to access, instructions were clear, and the location is amazing. We would absolutely stay here again.

The house has great space and living areas, as well as little things like beach chairs, sand pails, baby high chair, and more that our family really appreciated having available. You couldn’t ask for a better location- walkable to Canal Park and right on the beach. We will definitely be staying here again!

We had the best time. We had 10 people and the home was more than accommodating for us. The location is perfect, close to Canal Park. The beach is a bonus. Our kids loved the beach. The deck on the garage was a wonderful treat as well. Our group would love to go back again.

Third time staying here with our family. We love the location and comfortable, beautiful accommodations. We loved being able to sit on the rooftop patio in the evening, watch the ships come in, and even splash in Lake Superior just steps from the house.

I cannot thank you enough for the accomodation. The house was absolutely perfect, above and beyond, clean, comfortable, stocked, and by far the best vrbo experience I have ever had. Enjoyed our stay, great staff beautiful home.

We rented this location for our son's UMD graduation. It is a convenient location for any activity in Duluth, especially, of course, Canal Park. The kitchen is well stocked for meals up to 10 people. The home is stocked with various sundries: paper towels, coffee pods, trash bags, and shampoos. There are no main floor bedrooms, so if you have stair restrictions in the group be aware of upstairs or basement bedrooms. The downstairs bathroom is a recent remodel, the photos don't do it justice. You are right on the beach. We wish we could have enjoyed the outside more than the first week of May allowed this year. Being on Park Point, we did get bridged once, came back to a line of traffic that had been bridged once, and managed to be the last car over the bridge on the way out. It makes for a unique Duluth experience.

This house met all of our needs and more! Great location. Walking distance to canal park. Very clean and organized. We were extremely happy with it. We are considering returning in the summer to enjoy the beach!

We had a mini-friends reunion> the views of the full moon on the lake were spectacular. We walked to Canal Park for dinner and it was a quick trip to ski for the day at Spirit.

Our overall impression of this listing is great! It was a very cozy place for our family to hold our Christmas gathering. However, since we came in the winter, some of the amenities that were listed were not available to us. This included parking in the garage, the use of the sky deck, and the fire ring. Almost everything you could need was there, except for serving bowls/ utensils, and there were only a few dessert spoons. Truly, we made everything work, and we enjoyed our stay immensely, and would consider staying there again!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Lake Superior Beach House! We booked the Beach House as a convenient gathering space for friends and family to celebrate our wedding in Duluth. We enjoyed the open concept floor plan for family meals, dance parties, and even a football brunch post-wedding reception. The house was clean, well stocked with kitchen supplies, and comfy beds. Steve, the owner, and Peter, the property manager were excellent to work with - kind, prompt, and direct communication throughout our entire reservation. The house has the most stunning views and access to Lake Superior, the beach is simply gorgeous. The rooftop and fire pit are such a nice amenity. We hope to return and make this beach house an annual fall gathering place for years to come! We cannot express our gratitude enough. Thank you!!

Exactly as advertised, only better. It was a perfect location for us, walkable to Canal Park, the view was spectacular, and the property was immaculate. Highly recommend!

This is a lovely house that has been nicely updated. There is lots of space that would work well for a larger family. I normally cook alot (and bring a large box of equipment) while on vacation but this trip I didn't cook at all. I did check out the kitchen and it is very well equipped to meet most of my culinary needs. The spaces were many and comfortable. The rooftop deck was an ideal location to enjoy the evening and the propane firepit up there made it perfect. The home is only a couple blocks from the lift bridge so a car wasn't needed to enjoy all that canal park has to offer. It was the perfect "home base" and we really enjoyed this stay!

Beautiful property! Tucked away, yet close to everything. Great to relax and unwind.

The house location was perfect! The garage roof top was fun. The kitchen was tight and walkways narrow. The kitchen stools where to tall to be useful. The TV’s were not usable, directions are needed. Big disappointment on a rainy day.

We all had a great time. The house is in a perfect spot and in great condition. Everything was clean and as advertised. It was a fantastic trip!

This was our second summer staying here. The location can’t be beat and the home is perfect. Comfortable beds, enough space for the family, items for small kids, games, cute decor! We loved being able to hear and see the ships come in, walk along the beach, and just a quick walk to Canal Park! We plan to stay again next year.

We stayed at the house during a heat wave in mid-July and loved hanging out at the beach, making s’mores on the sky deck, walking over the bridge to Canal Park, and having a clean, comfortable, beautiful house to use as our home base. Responsive manager and had everything we needed (fans, dishes, dish soap, etc.). The house is in a PERFECT location. We would definitely choose to stay here again!
