I will always look for a unit in Building 23, and this great place on the first floor has a great deck to go with all of the other great aspects.

Absolutely loved our stay, well stocked kutchen. Very large for a 2 bedroom in the mountains and so close to the pool, etc. only problem was the neighbors above were very loud starting at 5 am. Found fans in the closets and used those for white noise and didn’t hear them after that. Overall, great condo and would absolutely stay again!

Great place for my family of four plus my sister to stay for 4 nights while we skied at Winter Park. Location is close to everything and only 7-8 minutes from all the ski resort parking lots. Condo is stocked with everything you need and is very comfy. Kids loved hitting the hot tub and pool at the rec center across the street every day after hitting the slopes. No issues with any part of our stay, everything was smooth and awesome. Would definitely book again.

Everything was good, except noise started from 4 am to 8am every 2 days we were there.
I would never book any apartment building downstairs anymore. And i don't recommend for anyone as well.

Wonderful location within walking distance of local places. We had one hiccup that management quickly responded to which was appreciated with a solution due to it being unexpected. Well maintained condo with the perfect in building amenities to be able to cook and enjoy a relaxing time. Comfy beds and a great time had by our family. Would definitely choose them again for a stay in Winter Park.

This is a great place to get away! The location is great, the rec center pool and playground are a hit with the kids, and there's a few different short walks/easy hikes right from the neighborhood. Definitely recommend and would stay again!!

After spending 10 days just up the mountain from this condo with my parents, we relocated to this condo. Our family of 3 was well accommodated here. Because this is a first floor unit, we were able to keep our bikes inside, safe. Boot holders were provided as well as two racks that worked great for hanging helmets and gear. Overall, our stay here was great and the location was perfect. We were able to bike or hike without getting in the car. A few things could make this place even better. The mattresses need updating. The use of light canceling curtains would be a huge plus, as the traffic seems to be frequent into the night and early morning. Light bulbs need to be maintained in the dining room chandelier. A Rubbermaid 2 quart or 4 quart pitcher would be a great addition to the kitchen. The water was extremely chlorine smelling, so we used water from Safeway. Maybe having a filter on the kitchen sink faucet would solve this. The refrigerator had an issue with one of the pullout drawers when we moved in that my husband was unable to resolve. Additionally, we had to purchase toilet paper. Other units we've stayed in had an adequate amount of toilet paper for the stay. The large t.v. was a plus for watching the Tour De France. The new kitchen appliances were great for cooking in.

It was a great little condo. Only two small inconveniences:
- coffee machine was broken
- would have been nice to know that you needed to bring your own shampoo, soap and towels when using the rec center.
Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay!

This place was right in town, making it super easy to grab a drink or a bite to eat. It was also so close to the ski resort taking out all of the stress of driving out there. The place itself was nice and the hot tub was great

We had a great stay! The condo was in a great location - we loved being right across from the rec center to swim and enjoy the hot tubs. Restaurants, grocery store and skiing are close. We would definitely stay here again!

This condo was the perfect space for a quick weekend getaway with our two boys before school started. It was an easy walk to several places to get food etc. There were trails, a playground, and the rec center all right across from the front door which was perfect to keep us busy! Our only "issue" was we found the bed in the master bedroom to be quite uncomfortable, but overall a great place! Charlotte was easy to reach and helped answer my questions during check in as well.

Crawl space sump pumps kicked on at 10pm and was not handle until 2:00pm the next day. Loud throughout the living quarters. Over all clean and nice location. Unable to rest or sleep due to the amount of noise produced by the pumps. Could have happened at anytime to anyone. Would give it another go

The location was perfect for our weekend of skiing at winter park, we enjoyed the amenities and the ability to walk to nearby restaurants. It was comfortable for our group of 5 but felt it might be a little tight for a bigger group.

RENTER BEWARE!
Our family recently rented this unit for one night. Upon arrival we found that there was no water in the kitchen sink-the pipe had froze (which we understand can happen in Colorado in the winter). Charlotte (the owner) was very responsive and sent the maintenance guy right away. They attempted to unfreeze the line with a space heater, and once it unfroze it sprung a huge leak. Luckily we were in the unit at the time and knew how to shut the line off to the water, otherwise the unit would have flooded. Long story short, the maintenance guys were able to fix the leak and we were able to get on with our evening, but needless to say, that wasn’t the ideal way to start our trip. When I spoke with Charlotte about the issue (we felt we were due a substantial discount due to the inconvenience of having to deal with that) she was less than accommodating. She did offer us a small credit (after I had to ask) but nothing close to what we felt we were due. Then when I indicated this was not the only issue we ran into during our stay (the unit was less than clean upon arrival-the bathrooms looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in weeks, the shower curtain in the master bath was covered in mold, and when we lifted up the mattress in the master it looked like something had died underneath…and the pillows were less than to be desired) she didn’t even inquire about the other issues. For what we paid for the stay, we were shocked at the overall quality. It’s a very old, outdated unit, you can hear everything going on next door and in the unit above, and for what we paid we expected a much nicer property. The icing on the cake was that when I told Charlotte I wouldn’t be able to give her a good review because of all of the issues, she threatened to reverse the small credit she gave us for dealing with the water line freeze/leak! Terrible experience all around. Spend your money elsewhere.

We have stayed in several Hi Country condos and this is our favorite! The condo was very clean and had everything we needed and more. There were plenty of towels and extra blankets as well as kitchen supplies. The layout was perfect and we had plenty of room to spread out. The beds were comfortable and we loved being across the street from the rec center. We hope to rebook this property for our next trip to Winter Park.
