The pictures online were not what the place was when we arrived. We could not stay. A hurricane was bearing down on us, and we had NO PEACE about it at all.

We arrived at the destination ahead of Hurricane Milton. Our hotel had to close, and we resorted to the only thing we found. We arrived and were shocked that the place did not look anything like the pics online. It was full of weeds, had a big tree in front that was not depicted in the photos. We entered and found a mess. The frig was in the middle of the kitchen, unplugged, and the living room in disarray. But the big calling card for this place was the garage they advertised. I looked and it was full of junk. I had two women with me and I simply could not subject them to this place. Furthermore, I had no peace at all. I called the lady in charge of the place and told her all of this. She sounded surprised about the garage. She said the girl that cleaned made a mistake and prepared the place for the hurricane not knowing there were guests. I am retired with a fixed income, but I was willing to swallow the cost for our wellbeing. $669 is a lot of money. Can anything be done? I am a loyal member of booking.com and I have lost some of my enthusiasm with this experience.

I liked the fact that we got to cook our own meals and that we got to relax!

The TV programs that was setup for watching. We had problems finding what we wanted to watch. It was not user friendly!

Clean, washer & dryer, almost enough beds but didn’t want little girls sleeping on pullout by multiple entries(family of 7), close to family, AC, provided towels, ceiling fans (except in kids room), kitchen had everything one would need

Neighborhood was sketch, outdoor garbage had maggots & smelled like something died, no curtains especially for porch door (had to use a sheet with magnets), blinds were broken, no garbage bags for kitchen (the box was empty), pillows were terrible (but forgot mine), mattresses were old, had to search to find fitted sheet for pull-out & the one I found was too big but better than all the others that were too small, had to buy oscillating fan for kids room

It is close to shopping restaurants and parks, etc. it made it very easy to go downtown and go to the beach to do sightseeing. The owner also keeps it stocked with coffee for the Keurig coffee maker which we enjoyed.

It has a garage with a garage door that works but we didn’t have the access code to the garage door so we couldn’t open it unless we were inside. We would have liked to use it more so we could have parked our car in there. It does have parking in the driveway so we used that just fine
