Really cute and in many ways well appointed. There was a ton of space. The kitchen had everything you would need. The garden room and games room were great, and the outdoor areas were pleasant and functional. Parking was ample and easy, and location was great.

The place was absolutely sweltering inside when we arrived. There were an air conditioner and a couple of fans that made the temperature pleasant for the rest of the stay, but it took a long time to cool the place down on the first evening. There was only 1 towel per person, and no washing machine available. This was particularly perplexing as there were a drying rack and pegs in the garden room. We ended up being short on towels as we had to handwash stuff and use one of our towels to squeeze excess water out. While the double beds were comfy, the single mattresses didn't fit very well on the bases and apparently it was a bit of a battle not to let the mattress slide off during the night. There were also a lot of very large cockroaches around, including inside. All of these things together meant we were a bit disappointed, given that it was not cheap.

The Walnut Tree House was the cutest place to stay! Had the most lovely decor and was so central to town. Would recommend this to absolutely anyone asking for Martinborough accommodation.

Needs a mirror in bedroom or lounge , the 3 in the bathroom are ok but no good for 4 women if one in bathroom Would’ve been handy to have milk in fridge

Excellent location being a short walk to the Square. We'll appointed with everything you would need for a short stay. Linen clean and pristine. Extra storage space in outdoor recreation room was great for the bikes.

The property was well heated but a little drafty in winter unfortunately.

Bedrooms distinctly 'ordinary' in decor and furnishing - although the main lounge lives up to the photographs. No garden - very close to other buildings but everything adequate +. Location is the winner.
