Thank you Peter and Greg for a wonderful stay in Russell, it was a real pleasure to stay at your B&B you made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. We loved our historic room which was lovely and cool despite the heat outside. We loved the location which was an easy walk to central Russell and thank you for the advice about restaurants. However, the most memorable part of our visits were the amazing breakfasts on the terrace which were exceptional. We also loved chatting to your other guests who were so helpful and friendly we thoroughly enjoyed our time staying at Arcadia Lodge.
We can't really think of anything that we didn't like!

I liked the location and the well appointed rooms. Each room has a wonderful view of the bay or the magnificent gardens. The breakfasts were very special. No menu. You get what you are given. Never disappointing, Selection of fresh fruit salads and stewed fruits with cereals and yoghurt. Fresh brewed coffee. Couldn't be better. Hosts Greg and Peter could not have been more accommodating.or personable. We made new friends with them
I didn't like leaving! I wish we had another couple of days!

Arcadia Lodge was a very cosy & comfortable stay in a much loved and maintained historical building with bay view. Peter and Greg know the area well and gave us great recommendations of places to visit.
Peter’s breakfasts were superb! He produced unique and delicious food every morning - even during a power failure.
Greg’s hospitality and attention to detail was above and beyond!

Our hosts, Peter and Greg made our stay a memorable one. The lodge is a two storey beautiful character home with wonderful views of a harbour. It’s a short easy walk into Russell. The breakfast provided was gourmet and plentiful, beautifully cooked by Peter and presented by Greg. They offered helpful information about the area including great eating out options and excursions. Highly recommend this for your stay in beautiful Russell.

fantastic location - could have spent the entire day on the balcony looking over the water. Wonderful places to visit within walking distance of the lodge. Wonderful breakfast - fresh and flavoursome! Peter and Greg were wonderful hosts who went out of their way to make us feel at home.
Bathroom/toilet for our room accessed by crossing the hallway, which could be an issue but was fine for us given no other guests on that floor during our stay and amply made up by the wonderful view from the room.

Greg and Peter were perfect hosts. Arcadia Lodge is luxuriously appointed with an eye for detail in every aspect. We enjoyed a warm welcome and Greg showed outstanding knowledge of the local area. Peter's breakfast was fabulous. Highly recommended
There was absolutely nothing not to like! Luxurious, well appointed and with a perfect aspect. I hope to go back soon with the rest of the family.

Breakfast was exceptional and changed daily. Location was perfect. Beautiful views but a short walk into Russell. Lots of little extras and attention to detail. Absolutely spotless. Great communal areas. Fantastic hosts who were passionate about their lodge and the local area.

A boutique lodge located a very short walk into the idyllic town of Russell in the Bay Of Islands.
Greg and Peter are the best hosts. Before we arrived they recommended some superb places to eat. The breakfasts are to die for, beautifully presented and making use of ingredients from the garden Peter beats any chef I have encountered.
The rooms are tastefully kitted out with everything you could possibly want and have views overlooking the bay.
Couldn’t fault it, the most perfect three night stay!

The lodge is in a fantastic location and offers everything that you would expect from a top rated hotel but with a relaxed guesthouse vibe. Peter and Greg are fantastic hosts - the breakfast was superb and they really could not do any more to ensure that our stay was just perfect.

Breakfast was pure joy - as well as fruit and cereals there's a different 'taste explosion' to look forward to, every one scrumptious and beyond anything you would make for yourself. Peter's also a great baker so the hot breakfast is followed by freshly made breads or home-made crumpets. Add to that Greg's relaxed and easy (but on the ball) service, the beautiful view from our table and the friendliness of the other guests... all of which made Arcadia Lodge one of the highlights of our stay.

The property was delightful, beautifully decorated and maintained and every comfort thought of. The breakfast’s were exceptional and the hosts Greg and Peter were very attentive to individual needs. Plenty of information was given at the initial greeting, both about the facilities at Arcadia Lodge and in the local area.
The property exceeded our expectations in every way.
