Large, Lush Waterfront Home Heated Pool: Near Casey Key, beaches, shops, food
Pretty in Pink ofrece soledad tranquila, santuario y privacidad cerca de Casey Key. La casa está frente al mar en un gran estanque con vida silvestre preventiva. La luz natural abunda en el interior de la casa con tragaluces, techos altos, grandes ventanales y controles deslizantes que desaparecen. La cocina se abre a la sala de estar con 4 taburetes, y tiene todo lo que necesitas para cocinar en casa. Goteo de café y máquinas Keurig junto con una licuadora. Te encantará la arquitectura arqueada alrededor de la piscina que te hace sentir a mundos de distancia. Nos encanta esta área, ya que ofrece la ubicación perfecta cerca de Sarasota y Venecia sin las multitudes. La playa de Nokomis es una de las favoritas de los lugareños y ofrece un muelle de pesca y mucha menos gente que las playas vecinas de Sarasota. Hay mucho que hacer cerca con un parque estatal, el sendero heredado, el golf, los supermercados y una gran cantidad de restaurantes, tiendas, etc. Disfrutará de vistas a la piscina o al lago desde casi todas las habitaciones. El principal cuenta con una cama king con almohada, controles deslizantes completos para la piscina, 2 armarios enormes y un baño grande con tocadores dobles, bañera, inodoro y ducha que se abre a la naturaleza y un patio privado. Another great stay at Big Pink! This is our 3rd year and we keep finding more things to do in this area! The house and pool were in great shape and ready for our stay! Really enjoyed the new gas grill and quiet evenings poolside. Gators in the water and bald eagles in the trees of the neighborhood - awesome! Excellent location that is perfect for easy walks and bike rides. Looking forward to a return visit next year!

The high points of this place: proximity to the Legacy Trail and Nokomis beach. Great neighborhood for long walks on quiet streets, retreat like setting. Private space at end of road. Pool area is lovely and secluded.
Because we have chemical sensitivities and a recent bout with lymphoma, we specifically inquired about fragrances used in the house. We were informed "scents and chemicals are kept to a minimum."
Unfortunately, not so. Fragrances were sprayed on almost all upholstery. The extra foam mattress on the bed was saturated with a strong smell. We removed 9 "odorizers", either plugged in or tucked around things which emitted strong unpleasant smells. We put them out to the garage.
Two of the sliding glass doors and the window by the tub cannot be opened without brute force.
If you have no problems with strong smells, this place is fine. Spacious, quiet, peaceful.

The house was just as advertised. Very nice quiet neighborhood, pool was great. Short drive to several beaches. It was a great place to relax a few days.

The best part about this location was the pool. The house was dirty and unkept. Basic supplies like paper towels and facial tissue were missing. The appearance was nothing like the photos. The landscaping was overgrown including the sidewalk up to the house. The furniture was a hodge podge of random items. Biggest disappointment was the internet and wireless service.

This is a lovely property but it is tired. The house is cluttered with furniture at every turn. The pool area is in need of a power wash and the plants outside the cage are overgrown to the point the pool area is stuffy. Area rugs I’m sure are not cleaned between visits and master bed mattress has stains. Iron is old and black on the bottom. Outside grill is filthy as is the patio table and chairs near it.

The property is spacious, in a quiet neighborhood, near grocery stores, restaurants, and a short drive to Nokomis beach. The pool is wonderful and was my favorite part of the property. I did have some unpleasant surprises after checking in. The garbage disposal was broken, the microwave vent was held in place with duct tape, but most disturbing of all was the dishwasher. The heated dry cycle is not working, and the inside of the dishwasher had mold growing throughout. So I had to hand wash our dishes for the entire week. The house also had an odor that was something other than musty. The bed linens were frayed and torn. I am particular about the condition and cleanliness of the properties I rent and this one failed. I did reach out to the owner early in my stay and she indicated that there was nothing she would do until she physically visited the property in a few weeks. It's a shame because this house has a lot going for it but it needs a lot of TLC.

If you seek peace, quiet and plenty to do within a 10 minute drive then this is the place to be! A great house with a nice pool on a cul-de-sac next to a large pond with a token gator is perfect SW Florida! A number of very good restaurants, pubs, golf courses and I almost forgot beaches are close by. Already looking forward to our return trip next year!

Our host Erin was great and really have no complaints about our stay there for 3 weeks, we had good weather in the 80's each day, the pool was great and we stayed outside in the pool area pretty much the days we were home from dust til dawn.

Lovely property
Had an absolutely wonderful time here! The kids loved the pool and beaches were very close. Would definitely stay here again. The kids said it was the best place that I have ever booked!☺️.

Great location to several beaches, shopping and restaurants. Grocery stores within minutes.
We had a great time at the pool as well as relaxing around the house. The pool was clean along with the patio. The outside of the house was nicely groomed in a beautiful neighborhood. Loved that the house was stocked with board games, toys for the pool and beach chairs/umbrella and fishing rods for the dock. The kitchen was well stocked with paper towels, napkins, seasonings, coffee and other staples as well. However, the fridge was not totally cleaned out and several items were left behind for others that you may or may not want to consume. There were instructions left that the dishwasher dishes would need to self dry which was no problem but when I went to dry them I found that they were really not cleaned very well. I also came across several dishes / utensils that were put away dirty. I would recommend some updating of the dishwasher, cleaning of drapes, rugs, closet spaces to get rid of musty smell and sheets that fit the mattress well. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and enjoyed the house.

Beautiful Home with Pool in Quiet Neighborhood
Beautiful home in quiet neighborhood. Close to the beaches and so many tasty restaurants. within a 10 minute drive. The house had everything we needed. Bikes, pool toys, beach chairs and towels. Had a bunch of games to play on rainy days. There was a gas grill and a charcoal grill. The pool was amazing and private, almost like we were on our own island. We spent so much time in the pool and sitting around the pool, listening to nature all around us. There was a pond out back that had turtles and so many birds.
The neighborhood is a bird sanctuary. We drove to Nokomis beach every night to watch the amazing sunsets. The beaches in this area are beautiful. We have never seen such blue ocean water! Owner answered our questions quickly and recommended beaches and restaurants. Our family enjoyed our stay, it was so relaxing. Would definitely recommend this house to anyone!

Perfect Vacation
This was our first trip back to Florida after 2 years due to the pandemic, and it was the best ever! Loved the house, lush tropical foliage surrounding the pool, master bedroom with soaking tub and glass shower. Spent much time out by the lake on the dock, morning walks, evening bike rides, close proximity to Nokomis beach. Kitchen was well stocked, couldn't have asked for better weather or a more perfect week! Will return soon!

Private Oasis!
A great find! This house is very well-equipped, super comfortable and incredibly quiet! The cul-de-sac location bordering the water with the screened pool, well-hidden with greenery, makes you feel like you have your own private oasis! We spent many hours enjoying the large pool with great sun or shade (your choice)! Short drives to a number of great local restaurants and sights. 5 minute bike ride to Oscar Scherer Park and the Legacy Bike Trail. Perfect neighborhood for walk/run/bike. Erin was a great host! Already looking forward to our return stay!

Paradise in nokomis

Great house!

Nokomis get-away!
Wonderful, lovely home in a quiet neighborhood. Located on a culdesac with lots of privacy. Minutes from beach. Host is super nice and responded quickly to our inquiries. Definitely would recommend this rental !

Private quiet neighborhood home
Enjoyed our stay in this nicely landscaped neighborhood home in Laurel. It was close to the beaches and places to dine and shopping. The host answered our questions promptly. We would rent this home again.

Great location comfortable home
We stayed on short notice for a family emergency. The house was very comfortable with great space and a great location. Looked like a really nice place to have a family vacation. Very homey. Well stocked with essentials. Coomunication was prompt. The outside area was starting to get overgrown so it made it less comfortable enjoying the outside areas. WIFI was good. Possibly need some basic instructions for the various tv setups to get basic channels. Some maintenence issues inside as the second bathroom shower was not working and we had to run the main bathroom shower for some time to clear a strong sulfuric odor from the water heater.

Great location to hit all the beaches Siesta keys, Venice and omg my favorite beach Nokomis! The pool was awesome and great for when you want shade!!! Owner communicated great and was super helpful!! Would totally stay here again!!

Family Vacation
Erin’s home is perfect for a family vacation. The location is beautiful, close to shopping, restaurants and the beach. The home was very clean and comfortable. We mostly enjoyed the pool. Erin responded to all my messages in a very timely fashion. We look forward to staying again.

Amazing place!
100% will rent again! We absolutely LOVED it. I can't say enough! It was so clean, pool was perfect, she has this book with house rules that was easy to understand, had amazing recommendations for restaurants and things to do. When we needed her she called or text back promptly. She is the sweetest! We loved the dock, we saw alligators, huge turtles and so many birds!
It was an amazing getaway for our 10 year anniversary!!! If your looking for a place definitely stay here!!!

Great place to stay. My wife and I loved it. Loved the use of the garage, shop vac in the garage. Bedroom was very spacious. Pool was nice a relaxing.

We enjoyed our stay. The house could use some updating. The pool area was very nice and it was nice to hang out by the lake in the evenings and look at the wildlife. The house is conveniently located close to restaurants and the beaches.

This house is like a private oasis!
My wife and I celebrated our 10th anniversary with a long weekend in Nokomis, and we were very pleased to get this gem. You want need to turn the tv on, you have a secluded pool that you want to stay in all day. We are already planning our next trip back!

Home Away from Home
We rented the house for a week in April. We enjoyed our stay tremendously. The house was comfortable and had a great location if you like a quint and private place. The pool area was our sanctuary and we had spent a lot of time there, just relaxing in the arms of the greenery, watching birds, bunnies, and squirrels. The house is fully equipped, stalked, ready to offer relaxation right upon your arrival. We re-stalked some supplies to pay it forward for the folks who come after us :). Communication with the owners was seamless, they really try hard to make sure you have a good time. The only issue we had was the bed in the second bedroom, which was very uncomfortable, but it did not spoil the overall stay. We hope to come back again.
