We were a little confused about the trash drop off location. need to add an address. House was great and views spectacular.

We have stayed here a number of times. They keep updating things and we love it each and every time we stay!

The property has everything we needed for our stay, and the location on the lake is fantastic. Cozy cottage for anyone who likes the rustic look. Liked it so much, I am coming back in a few weeks for another stay.

The house was great. Being able to unload the boat there at the house was really nice! Owner was very helpful in sending someone right over to show us how to workings. Will go again!

We selected the location to access the Santee Cooper lakes to bass fish. The location was ideal giving us close access to various boat launch ramps. The house was clean and comfortable and suited our needs perfectly.

Very nice place. It was nice having the ramp and dock in the backyard. The neighbors are very friendly. We really enjoyed staying there.

You do not want to miss the opportunity to stay in this cute little home. Plenty of space and everything you need for a time away from home!

House was dirty, no sandy beach, dock was in bad shape, bathroom floor in bad shape floor is separating, bathroom door was hard to shut. Some of the pots were not clean, old furniture, some of the furniture needs to be junked. We left on Thursday morning. My home much nicer to finish our vacation. I took pix of you would like me to send to you. I plan to put on face book.

This cottage was adorable. We had a wonderful stay at the lake.

The check in did not go as I was told there were people there cleaning cutting grass because they were told no one would be there till the 16th at 4 so we didn’t get in the house till after 5 because they had to clean the house also

We enjoyed our stay we loved the location and porch and dock! We brought our boat and two jet skis and one of our jet skis kept messing up so having a personal loading dock was extremely convenient!

Nice place to get away. Fishing from the dock wasn't to good only caught small fish and turtles. Dock lights didn't light up enough to see at night. Great place to stay and fish if you have a boat. We enjoyed ourselves. Peaceful, relaxing getaway.

We enjoyed our stay there and it was nice to have our own dock to come and go with the boat when we wanted. The screened in porch was definitely a plus as well. Unfortunately, although it was clear from our communications that we were bringing our dog, the owner failed to charge a pet deposit up front and we got hit with an extra $50 after we checked out; and for some reason the cleaners said we didn't take our trash when we absolutely did SMH. However, we were glad to find a place that would in fact allow pets.

This is the 2nd time we have been here and we just love it. Nice location and perfect for the furbabies. Will definitely book again.

Everything was as listed. Was perfect for my group. Had our own boat ramp and was able to dock the boat right there. A great fishing trip!

Came late on a Sunday evening after a 5hr drive to find the place neat, but no trash bags, (not in the cans or anyplace in the house at all) no toilet paper (yikes!) or dish soap anywhere in the place. Having to go back out and find a store after a long trip was frustrating. The listing did not state we would need supplies, maybe an oversight from the cleaners? The place was neat, but had been cleaned in a hurry, there was clothing under one of the dressers and empty water bottles and spilled aspirin next to the chair, not a big deal to us, the beds were comfy and bathroom was clean. Kitchen was stocked with any dishes you might need. Neighbor has 3 little dogs that bark INCESSANTLY if anyone is outside. The biggest drawback is the listing does NOT state you have to disclose of your own trash - there was just a note on the fridge (plus we paid a cleaning fee) nor does it give directions as to where to go, so my husband tried to find the dump station upon leaving, but it was in the OPPOSITE direction we were traveling and we were towing a boat and trailer, so we had to bring a weeks worth of trash and dog poo 5 hours home to dispose of it. This is unacceptable to not be mentioned in the listing, especially if you paid a cleaning fee. The view of the property is spectacular and this place is perfect for a fishing trip, but due to the trash/supplies situation and the neighbors barking dogs, we’d probably probably not book this one again.

Perfect for just family or a few friends. Great location to fish. I do wish it had a better place to clean fish. Will be back for sure

GREAT PLACE

The house was clean, cozy and as described. The house was right on the lake and the atmosphere was very relaxing. There's 3 bedrooms with only 1 tv and the wifi wasn't the strongest. Justa heads up if you are travelling with a group of people or a larger family. It was just myself and my fiancee so the 1 tv was fine and the lack of wifi gave us more of a reason to skip out on work and reconnect with the beauty of nature that surrounded us. All in all, it is a beautiful home in a beautiful area.

We really enjoyed our vacation. The beds were super comfortable and it was very clean. A really nice yard and quiet neighborhood. The water was down a couple of feet so we weren't able to use the boat ramp but we put in somewhere else and caught lots of fish. We had a great time!

Location was a bit out of the way, it was on the lake and in a quiet area.

This place is very nice. Very peaceful and nice people in the community. The house is very nice and very clean. Even though this place is in the middle of no where and it takes about 20 mins to get back to town, we really did enjoy it. Very peaceful and relaxing. I would definitely stay here again. Especially since I know where it is and what it is all about. I can highly recommend it.

The rental was clean and had nice access to the lake. However, we did not have a working coffee maker when told kitchen was fully equipped. One of the beds were broken and fell when we went to sleep in it and the other one squeaked with every movement. Our confirmation stated check out was at 12 noon. The cleaning person rudely told us that we were passed check out time at 11am and promptly called the owner. We left the property within 15 minutes as they waited angrily for us to leave. I had message the owner prior to our stay requesting how to pay the pet fee. Due to not seeing the option to pay the $35 pet fee on Vrbo I had message her asking instructions on how to pay. We received a call/ message from the owner stating we had stayed passed our check out time and we brought a pet without notice. I did leave a message to her upon our return home, explaining the pet situation whereas I had messaged her prior to our stay and discussed our less than pleasant stay. I offer to exchange the newly purchased coffee maker we left for the next visitors for the $35 pet fee or to give us better instructions of how to pay the pet fee. I had no intentions of having a pet there without payment but felt like we were being accused of doing so. I was disappointed in how we were treated on our last day by the cleaners and then the message from the owner.

I loved it there had a nice 3 bd room clean had a nice time fishing and playing card games with the kids and a littlw swimming because of rain but a overall we'll be going back

Overall, an excellent rental experience. The house is small, but homey and comfortable. Sitting in chairs at the shore was the unexpected highlight for relaxed enjoyment and being entertained by the wildlife and beautiful water view. The screened porch was perfect for meals with ample seating. The kids enjoyed playing at the sandy beach, and all of us enjoyed playing/swimming in the warm water! Communication with Faye was outstanding. It was HOT the week we were there, but with AC in the house, and the breezes off the lake, it was wonderful. Thank you Faye - we had a quiet relaxing week.
