-Staff was nice and helpful. -Very clean apartment. -Well equipped kitchen. -Nice private parking location in the middle of Grindelwald center.

-Staff communication was only through the hotel phone number, which was not smooth for me as a tourist. -Payment method requested by the hotel was to be done only through a bank transfer, which was complicated and not through booking.com website similar to other hotels.

we were wishing screen for every windows and balcony door. all the bugs were coming in when doors are opened, so we had to shut the door we couldn’t get the fresh air by being doors and windows are closed would be perfect if screen doors and windows

This was a beautiful penthouse in a picturesque location. The mountain view will blow you away. Lovely facilities. If you are a skier/snowboarder 200m walk to First, ski bus on road below and 500m to train. Great bakery on main road. Large sauna a perfect option after a day of activity. Beds super comfortable. Staff at Glacier Hotel managing the property are very obliging and quickly respond to any request. Would definitely stay again.

The location of the property is terrific and the views are spectacular. We were a party of 6 and we had plenty of room to make us all feel comfortable.

First of all Grindelwald is a must see place in Switzerland so I’d recommend the place for the gorgeous hikes and many things to see. This penthouse suite was simply gorgeous! Huge with top class amenities. The balcony is huge with chairs table and barbecue. The view is simply stunning and the area central but quiet. Fireplace was lovely on a rainy night and the two ovens (Miele) allowed for perfect meals. There is washing machine and dryer very convenient for us hikers who had always plenty of dirty clothes. We used the sauna as much as possible and this feature only would grant the property five stars! Such a luxury to be able to relax after a long day of hikes and literally melt the km away. All the features are clearly explained and instructions clearly provide both by an employee and on Internet Plenty of toiletries and the pressure of the shower was paradise ! Very kind the staff at check in (to be done in the main hotel building) / check out. I loooooved the cookies given as gift. Plenty of leaflets and info of the area available at their desk.

What I simply hated was having a penthouse suite and being given zero bathrobes and One towel set (body face hand) per guest. I know there’s a washing machine but I don’t want to wait for the towel to dry to avoid fighting with hubbie over the towels when I washed my hair ! Luxury is also a plush bathrobe ....
