Unfortunately it has a contract with the council to house prisoners on licence. & They had the cheek to charge a King's ransom too. Avoid at all costs.

The room was fine. The meals were good. Connor was friendly, Charlie was helpful and the chef apologetic over problem with our first meal.

On Sunday night after closing, there was a loud row possibly in the bar with raised voices and banging. Later that night a male voice was heard loudly speaking in the corridor outside our room and continuing outside under our window. A dog was barking in the apartment opposite our room. There were no other guests so the disturbance was caused by a member of staff who lives on the premises. We would not stay there again, despite the positive elements. An undisturbed night is of primary importance.

Shower in the room didn’t work (The control seemed seized) Frequent motor bike noise from the car park for no apparent reason, but quiet when it eventually left.

The room was pleasant and clean good location for us .Nice to have a bar area serving food if you wanted to use it .Lovely big bath with hot water and the towels smelt beautiful.

Unfortunately the bed springs were noisy. My partner said it was like sleeping on a musical instrument. We found the dog barking a little annoying but it didn't bark during the night so that was a bonus.

The welcome was very warm and friendly. We were given everything we could possibly have wanted and more. The room was extremely spacious and comfortable. Network TV and free internet and easily connected. I'd rather book here than a big chain and hope to come back again.
