The house was great, neat location tucked away in the woods and very close to downtown Senoia. We had no complaints about this location & definitely would rent it again if we are back in this area.

We stayed at Rockaway Hideaway for two weeks, mostly just spending the evening hours at the cozy home in the woods. It was very peaceful and some mornings we delayed our leaving to allow the deer to wander through the property. Very clean and spacious with lots of kitchen supplies if you plan on cooking meals.

Clean, nice flow to rooms, kitchen was perfect, comfy beds, nice amenities — soap, detergent, salt, pepper, sugar, oil, etc — gorgeous wooded setting. Lovely gravel path from the road. Owner responsive & easy to work with.

The house was clean and decorated beautifully. Close to stores and restaurants. We had a great time and enjoyed our stay. The host was great also. I highly recommend!!

Great quite secluded location

Kathy's home was everything we'd hoped it would be - a nice, quiet space to relax between wedding events. We were visiting from out of town for my brothers wedding and this was such a treat from the hotels we stayed at along the way. The house is full of amenities, extras (closet full of games, Keurig AND coffee maker, cozy blankets and a pack and play for my toddler) to help make your stay truly feel like a vacation and we loved being so close to everything (groceries stores, restaurants, wedding venue) but feeling like we were far away as soon as we pulled into the wood surrounded home. We enjoyed hearing the birds and seeing deer as we sat on the patio. The house is adorable, so clean and comfortable. We hope this won't be our only time to visit this lovely cottage in the woods! This house is gorgeous, perfect environment for our walking dead trip. Perfectly located for all the local activities we had planned.

The owner was quick to answer any questions we had. We wished we could have spent more time enjoying the house but the party prep kept us busy. We did enjoy our early morning coffee watching the wildlife surrounding the house; chipmunks, squirrels, birds and even a few deer wandered by for our enjoyment. We would highly recommend staying here.

We absolutely loved this place! The owner answered all questions very promptly and was so sweet. Her property wasn't just clean, it was IMMACULATE! And so adorable. We will definitely be back if it is available the next time we come to Senoia!

I never stayed anything like this, the house is in the beautiful woods, it is private and quiet, but still close to a grocery shops and cafes, restaurants. I and my husband had a great time with big beautiful kitchen and spacious living room, beds are very comfortable, whole house is tastefully decorated and updated, we fell in love with this house! Highly recommended :)

We enjoyed our stay in Senoia. I will say the pictures on VRBO do not accurately represent the property, because the property is WAY BETTER than the pictures. Everything is updated and sparkling clean. The property owner was wonderful and so easy to contact and quickly respond. The house is on a beautiful piece of land and located so close to Main Street Senoia. This home truly felt like a home away from home. 10/10 recommend!

We were here for a conference and extremely busy but it was a beautiful location and set up for a very relaxing family time. They included several nice touches and all of us enjoyed the comfortable home.

We rented this place for two weeks while we were visiting our son and his family. There was 4 of us that stayed here. Excellent place to be....close to Senoia if you want to do the tourist thing, yet out of town enough to feel secluded. (We saw deer and had an owl sit on a tree trunk for over 2 hours close to the house.) This rental had all that we needed for our stay. The owner was just a text away and very helpful with any questions we had! Great communication! I would rent from her again without question! (One suggestion: if you stay here, order Buck's Pizza which is about 3 miles down the road and they deliver! Fantastic pizza! We ordered from them twice, it was that good!)

We love this place! We stayed off and on for almost 3 months as we waited for our house to be built. Totally private, relaxing, great scenery and even though everything is so close, it feels like you are miles away from everything.

Great location, short drive to downtown, shopping, restaurants and entertainment. Very secluded/private with gorgeous views and very clean.
