Exactly as advertised! The location was fantastic with super easy beach access. It met all our expectations! We stayed with our 8-week-old baby and the place was impeccably maintained. I highly recommend it, especially due to how close you are to the ocean. We will definitely be coming back!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay in this property. It was very comfortable and fully furnished. It’s is right on the ocean where you can see hear and smell everything. I really enjoyed waking up with a cup of coffee sitting out on the balcony.
The location is ideal for someone that wants to get away and stay on the beach. It’s is further from shopping and dining than some might prefer.
The only real negative for me was there are significant fees added onto the nightly rate including a cleaning fee. That is understandable however the checkout procedure requires you to strip beds, remove all trash and load the dishwasher. That feels to me like it should be included in the cleaning fee.

COCKROACHES! Crawling on the furniture and many on the balcony! I typically don’t write bad reviews but people need warning about this condo. I had friends fly in from out of state and the story of our weekend was huge cockroaches instead of a great vacation! I contacted the owner immediately, the following day he sent an exterminator who left a note saying he “didn’t see any bugs”. The owner then ‘Door Dashed’ us a can of Raid. The next day the housekeeper just showed up, wanting to verify we had bugs. She saw them, didn’t clean it, said she would let the owners know. The condo was not clean, sheets were dirty, the trash can had dried food/liquids down the front of it, glasses were dirty with one having lipstick on it. The beach equipment is mainly unusable. They are missing pieces of the chairs and rusted out. The view is beautiful but we weren’t able to sit out there after dark due to the cockroaches. They’re all over the balcony. The beach equipment is kept on the balcony and had cockroaches on the chairs. We slept with the lights on in the condo at night to try and keep them out. This was our experience, choose another condo.

We absolutely loved here. We were mere steps from the beach which just perfect. The complex was very well maintained as well. The kids loved the pool after a long day on the beach. There was area right by the condo where we could clean off sand. And that view from the balcony was just perfect.

This property was located right on the beach , you could sit on the balcony and enjoy the ocean view and sound of the waves . Very clean and comfortably slept 6. The beach is just a few steps away . And the property manager was easily accessible and answered all questions promptly. Would definitely stay here again!

This was the closest we’ve ever stayed to the shore…this condo is truly ON the beach. Building 1 has the best views. Would not want to overlook the pool as some of the other buildings do. The condo is comfortable and equipped with everything you could possibly need. Owners are very nice to deal with.

Wonderful week- beautiful beach!! Area is very nice with a lot of great restaurants. The condo was clean and updated- the master bath is very small, and hard to maneuver in. Other than that issue, all was great

A friend and I decided to do a last minute beach get away and Tony and Amy’s condo turned out to be a wonderful choice for that get away. The check in process went smoothly and Tony and Amy were very prompt in answering any of our questions. The condo was very nicely furnished and the beds were quite comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked although we never managed to do any cooking instead opting to try local restaurants. We lucked out with warm weather for February and spent a lot of time on the covered back deck. The view of the ocean from there was absolutely gorgeous. We enjoyed listening to the waves, watching for dolphins, and did numerous walks on the beach looking for shells. I particularly liked that along the beach there are a fair number of homes and the area is not as heavily developed as other beaches can be. I look forward to a return trip. Thanks Tony and Amy.

Location to the beach, great kitchen and living room area. Master bed room a bit cramped. Very nice shower, Master bathroom. Way to cramped . No place for hanging clothes. Overall the condo was very good. You need the check the toilet tank in master. “Flapper valve need replacing “

This is such a lovely location. The ocean is right beyond the balcony, so you can hear the waves crashing and watch birds, boats, and the amazing sky from the living room. Each morning we ate our breakfast sitting on the balcony, feeling so lucky to be there enjoying the awesome view!
The kitchen is well stocked with any pots, pans, and utensils you might need, the beds are comfortable, and the hosts have been super responsive the two times we needed help. We've been here twice now and plan to return.

The Salty Wave was everything and more. Great view from the balcony watching the sunrise. Loved taking long walks on the beach day and night. Thank you so much for this much needed time away from home. So relaxing. I hope to make it back next year!

This was a wonderful vacation! From the view to great restaurants, and the condo practically sits on the beach! Can not say enough about the homeowners. They were wonderful! We were booked to go to Topsail right after Ian moved up the coast. I was in contact with the owners who couldn't have been more helpful. They assured me everything was still good to go and even sent pictures!
The pictures on VRBO were exactly the same in person! (Which is not always the case). Kitchen was fully equipped, bath towels and beach towels were ready to go, lots of beach equipment, and high end furnishings and linens.

Our family had a wonderful time! It was so convenient to the beach. We were hoping for long days on the beach and we were able to do that. My husband or myself could take our toddler up for a nap while one of us stayed on the beach with our older children. It was perfect. One of my favorite things to do was to wake before anyone else and drink coffee on the balcony watching the sunrise! We only ate out once and was able to prepare all our meals in the condo. It was perfect for our family. I highly recommend it!

By the sea
This place is clean and decorated in sea side colors, really cute. It is small and the master bath, with shower, is really tight but for a long weekend it is perfect for 4 people. The high top chairs and table on the deck are great, you are almost on top of the waves! No elevator so this one on the first floor only has a few step to climb. Not disabled friendly.

Beautiful condo at an excellent location
We stayed at the condo for over a week at the end of July. The property is beautiful, perfectly clean, and located so close to the water that we often just stayed on the balcony instead of going down to the beach. The view is just spectacular. The beach itself is not crowded at all, which we loved. The owners were very easy to reach, alway courteous and thoughtful, and promptly addressed any issues we had. Bonus: you can get excellent fresh sea food close by, and the condo has a fully equipped kitchen. All in all an excellent choice if you, like us, like a vacation very close to the water at a quiet beach away from the crowds. We will definitely go back.

If you come for beach, this is your choice. As picture shows, your balcony direct face beach and just few steps from beach. This is our first beach front stay, we will dine and watch the tide rolling on our balcony. Lovely place and the water temperature is really nice. If I need to pick on one thing --how come there is no pizza cutter ? there are wine opener, cheese grater, electric hand mixer but no pizza cutter ..oh we use knife so its no big deal but just a bit surprised. We really love topsail beach and water temp is great. one draw back is there is not much to do other than beach but if all you want is relaxing on the beach this is the place for you. very relaxing and not crowded at all. definitely recommend this place

First trip to Topsail
The host was very easy to communicate with and did a great job getting us in ahead of our check in time so we could enjoy the beach.
The property was very clean when we arrived and had an absolutely stunning view of the ocean. We really enjoyed leaving the windows open at night and falling asleep to the sounds of the ocean.
Only small downside is that the master bath is really small.
If your checking this place out go for it!

We will not stay here again
There are some positives about this property. It is steps away from the beach and a good location on the island. However, prepare to be deceived. It was not clean when we checked in; crumbs on the tables, sand on the floor, a dead cockroach in a corner, filthy baseboards, dust bunnies in corners and along walls of the bedrooms, and an ant problem in the kitchen. It was disgusting and especially surprising in these covid times. We dealt with it by cleaning ourselves and buying some ant bait. But nasty. Also, the pictures make it look like you've got nice privacy. You don't. The main access point to the beach for this building is right next to your deck, so you're always on display. Also, be aware that the listing is actually through evolve so you get to pay both vrbo and evolve fees. If you really want to stay here (and I recommend you look elsewhere), book through evolve instead to save some money. We had a nice visit by were disappointed with the accommodations. For this, we cannot recommend this property and certainly won't stay at it again.

Unit had old worn towels old mats with no protective backing balcony was dirty crackers and dirt on floor no closet space did not look as it had appeared on line would not recommend staying at this unit unless it had a major cleaning job I had bought my dust buster and used that to clean floor’s furniture had not been dusted in sometime baseboards were not cleaned my granddaughters were very upset about the appearance of the unit we have stayed at various places in Emerald Isle never had issues such as this unit very disappointing especially for the money spent on the unit

Topsail Island
Location was great- literally steps from the amazing beach. A great place for doing nothing but walking, reading, looking for shells, just chilling. The condo was very comfortable for two people. We ate out every night. Would definitely recommend the Riverview Cafe! Hoping to return to Topsail in the future.

Fun weekend getaway
Our family really enjoyed this condo for our winter weekend at the beach. It's very close to the ocean, so beach access was a breeze. The beach is narrow at high tide, but that wasn't a problem given that it wasn't crowded at all. The condo is spacious and nicely updated, and came with beach toys, games, and snacks for the kids. Communication and check-in were easy. We would definitely stay here again.
