John the property manager is the absolute best! Some places simply have good vibes - this is one of them. I loved the couch, grill, picnic area, open kitchen, huge conference room area, and the general coziness of the set up. Everything you need is truly at this place; it was just a fantastic stop on my way back to Wisconsin. The room was clean and comfortable and the best part - quiet! It’s perfectly situated off the highway which really levels it up compared to other roadside spots. And my dog was totally welcome which was awesome. Thank you John!!

John the manager was very nice. The room was clean. The internet speed was extremely fast. The value was great.

Everything was perfect. The communal kitchen and surrounding areas were a nice touch.

I'm at a loss for anything that John could have done better or provided to make our stay more comfortable. Maybe a bidet on the toilet.

With no well-lit sign it was good that we had excellent communication with the property manager before arriving. The room was clean, except for the microwave and fridge, which had not been cleaned. Air conditioning and heater unit worked well and was quiet.

No plastic or paper glasses (hard to take pills before bed.) No coffee machine or coffee available. No bath mat. No instructions on how to run the TV. We never did get it turned on. No phone in room. No way to contact the manager. We got the feeling that this was primarily a conference centre. Therefore several hotel amenities were missing.

Location, cleanliness - both great, especially compared to many little motels in that area. The manager was very friendly and helpful.

No tissues or drinking cups in the room - however, these were available inn the communal kitchen, soon it wasn't really a problem.

Rooms were freshly renovated and very clean. The property manager was very friendly and welcoming, always around when needed. Very laid-back, accommodating and understanding that we needed a late checkout and offered full use of the kitchen!

The common area was fun to hang out in and meet some people

John who checked us in was lovely! The building is so new and had all we need for a quick stop to avoid night driving… nice to have a shower and watch a movie in bed :) the AC unit was on point as well!

The only thing I noticed was the floors needed a vacuum but honestly, not a huge deal.

A true gem in the middle of almost nowhere, but the Trans-Can is five minutes drive away. The communal kitchen is a great touch, and John is exceptionally accommodating for anything one might need.

Wifi is a bit pokey, but considering the remoteness of the area and all this place has to offer, it is a fairly negligible issue.

A double bed did not cut it and room smelt of smoke certainly not worth 100..we hardly slept room so small and one double bed definitely was too n poor taste I would not recommend to anyone

Everything was good.

Great location -lots of parking- the room has what is needed for the basic overnight stay, including mini fridge and Smart TV / cable options- shared kitchen facilities are a great addition! John easily and quickly communicated with us and met us out front upon arrival!

Nice Location - outside of Island rush .. Close enough to visit Manitoulin Island and surroundings. We did not only visit Manitoulin island but also the areas around = Hence best location if you want to do both Would go there again for sure. Set-up and Staff were very friendly, easy, and uncomplicated. The kitchen needs a little update, but all good to go.

A little more frequent cleaning, but overall better than expected. Good for Business and Pleasure trips to the area, but not many restaurants nearby.
