When we 1st arrived we loved the location, the cleanliness of the house, however I paid for heated pool and when we went to the pool it had not been cleaned. Beer cans, shot cups, dice, cards, and other trash in the pool. And it was not heated. When brought to the property manager attention I was assured of the heating fee refund and that it would be cleaned. It has been since March during spring break and I have just been given the runaround. Vacasa says I gotta go thru VRBO, VRBO keeps hanging up and ending chats, I'm glad I have all documentation of the promise of refunds as well as pictures of the pool. So unless someone rectifies this issue, I will warn anyone to rent with this company.

This property was nice. Less then a mile walk to the beach and conveniently located. We loved the pool, but the basketball net seen in some of the pics was not available.

Our stay was amazing. The heated pool is the way to go! Golf cart is a must not because of the distance but with a family to the beach and driving around was so enjoyable. Tons of room

PROS: .House was nice and very close proximity to the beach and restaurants. We rented a golf cart and that made getting around alot easier! Plenty of room in the house for a large group! .Has your own personal pool so you don't have to share the community pool CONS: .For 10k a week you would think the grills would be cleaned and there would be gas for the tanks! We had to go get grill cleaner to get the filth off of them and then go get a propane tank for the grill which we left with plenty of gas for the next occupant so they don't have to worry about it. Also there was no lighter or matches to light the grill so we had to get that too! .We paid $50 per day for the heated pool feature and according to our thermometer that we bought the temperature of the pool didn't change a bit so not sure if the heater works or they just didn't turn it on like they said they did! .We could never find the Panasonic radio in the house that controlled the house speakers and I was told I would get a call to let me know where it was at but I never heard back from anyone. .The outdoor screen that covered the pool had rips all over it. . We had a "Karen" for a neighbor who yelled at us and told us we didn't belong there! .wifi connection was very weak If things were fixed that I mentioned it would definitely be a 5 Star house but overall we still enjoyed our stay and had a wonderful time!

The house was beautiful! Yes there were some things that didn’t work or was broken but a little of that is to be expected. The bedrooms were very nice and the pool was a great place to hang out. The house had easy access to the beach which is a plus.

Room enough to be with or away from your family and friends. Private balconies allow individual families to enjoy the view of the wooded large screened in pool. And a kitchen to accommodate a party.

My family and I had a wonderful time in Destin and the location of the property was ideal.

Many repairs around home are needed. The lack of attention to these things really makes a big impact on the quality of stay. Dinning chairs were broke or sketchy to sit on. Railing upstairs scary loose. Master TV wouldn't function. Fireplace not operating. No manual or instructions of home (other than at washer) about how to use things. Tried calling the support number Many times no answers ( even the maintenance guy said he had been trying to reach them and couldn't) trash and pet feces from previous was still there when we arrived. No one responded to my email about trying to speak to them. There were red stains in a few rooms the carpet stayed wet the entire stay (gross!) Very janky for how much is spent. I was worried about the pest from previous reviews but thankfully only seen a roach in master room. Drawers are in poor condition and the handle to outside was hanging on by a thread when we did the walk through prior to unloading. I would love to speak to a manager still because I am definitely expecting to be compensated. We had to screw things back to working order just so we can open doors, drawers, and not fall from upstairs trying to hold the rail .

House was beautiful! We loved the location and how close it was to the beach. Neighborhood was very nice. It was bonus having the pool too. There was couple minors things wrong with the house or furniture but it really wasn't a big deal and honestly you would expect that being its a vacation rental.

The maintenance of the house has not been kept up. All the furniture in the common areas need to be replaced. The upstairs AC did not work properly. The guest that were assigned upstairs has to get a hotel room. It was extremely hot. I am still waiting on the front office to get back with me. Maintenance was sent out to make repairs and he was extremely polite. But, the wine chiller was not able to be repaired. The AC never cooled off the upstairs. The door access worked once to get in after it was changed and reset twice. We do this trip every year at the same time and in 2019 was an amazing time in this house. This year I was thoroughly disappointed and would like this rectified.

Overall we had a good experience. House has a wonderful location and looked very much like the pictures. We enjoyed the bikes being in the garage, loved riding to the beach each day. We did notice bugs in the cabinets where the pots and pans were, we washed everything before we used them (easy fix, they just need a good exterminator). Also the gate code that was sent in the email was incorrect and caused challenges getting into the property, thank goodness a resident living there gave us a code that worked for us. Other than that, it was an enjoyable experience! We would recommend staying here again.

The house was awesome except 1 major problem you probably should get it exterminator we spent a great deal of time killing Roaches but other than that everything else was perfect

This house was great! There are a few out light bulbs, the wine cooler does not work, you have to check-in at 4:00 pm on the dot, and our gate code never worked. But on the flip side, the house provided plenty of space, was kept up with, sheets were cleaned, plenty of extras linen and towels. very comfortable beds and couches, just overall a relaxing setting! I loved how it was in the corner of the neighborhood. I will tell you that sound travels in this neighborhood so make sure not to make any noise past 10 PM. There is 24-hour security and they will come out to warn you when it comes to any noise.

We loved everything pool was the icing on the cake for my children couldn't get them out everything else was for me 🤗🤗🤗😁😁😁

My family and I spent Thanksgiving at this property and let me just say from first glance, WOW! We had a range of ages and everyone enjoyed the pool. We had an amazing time and the fact that it was walking distance to the beach was a bonus. We had minor issues with the cable and wifi service, but overall we were VERY SATISFIED and would highly recommend this home.

First impressions while walking through the door, this home is amazing! Definitely a dream home and we thought to ourselves, we would definitely rent it again. Upon settling in, the TV never worked, wine fridge didn’t work, patches on the walls needed repainting, handrails and foyer railings were loose, unable to use grill due to valves were bent, only 2 burners on the stove worked, dryer took 3-4 cycles to dry, bikes tires were flat (no air pump provided), and bike chains were loose. The gate code didn’t work, had to call a handful of times to obtain a new code or had the security come and unlock the gate for us. This was definitely a hassle. I felt as if I was held ransom inside/outside the gated community in fear of not being able to come/go as I pleased. Worst part of all, the sink pipe was leaking and also a leak trailing from the kitchen walls into the dinner room. An emergency runner came out to assess the situation and took photos. He was as puzzled as we were, no indication where the leak/pool of water in the dinner room came from. Towels were laid and maintenance would address the problem in the morning. Property management was polite, quick and responsive. The home just had too many flaws for the price. Otherwise, it would be definitely be a dream home and would definitely rent again if everything was perfect.

The only thing i enjoyed was how close it was to the beach. But everything else was a disappointment. For the money my family and I paid. We could’ve received better service. Refrigerator not cooling at all (the one in the kitchen) we had to move the meats to the refrigerator in the garage.
The washer machine was filled with dirty water. Waited till next day until we have received service.
The pictures shows basketball hoops by the pool for the young kids. It wasn’t there. The screening that surrounds the pool was is ripped.
Alot of service has to be done to the houE.
Outdoor Tv not connected, Dishwasher filled with dirty water as well, certain lights out.

Don’t plan on renting this property ever again.

We loved the house. Some things need to be improved especially for the money being charged. The house was huge plenty of space. Beautiful. But it needs better cleaning. The pool had lots of hair inside it was gross. All the pans were pretty bad hard to cook anything on them. Seems like the cleaning person just ran through and didn’t clean really good. But we still loved the place. Really close to the beach. Huge table to entertain the whole family was a huge plus. Huge bedrooms. Overall really nice location and house. All of us loved it kids wanted to stay there to live. Lol. Comfy beds. Asked for more towels and linen and they brought them really fast. Really friendly customer service. Would definitely recommend this house and stay they again. Made our vacation feel fancy.

House was fun and big enough for my family. Needs some new pool furniture all was extremely run down and torn. There was a big tear on our screen covering the pool as well. There was cigarettes on the floor around the pool area we had to sweep up. Upstairs in the bunk room the sheet in trundle where not washed. On one of the full size bunks we found a pizza slice. We had trouble with three of the TVs but someone came out the next day. She was very nice and fixed them for us. The refrigerators ice maker did not work and the wine fridge as well. The house needs a few paint touch ups and it would be great. We enjoyed the bikes every morning and the location of the house was great.

The house was amazing. The private pool is perfect for these uncertain times. Tons of space and close to everything. We will definitely book it again 😊!

Home was beautiful and we enjoyed the in the home, neighborhood is very nice and walking distance to beach however we were unsure how it is a cleaning fee as refrigerator was dirty and all the tables inside as well as patio were filthy and floor had not been swept throughout the house. Wine chiller did not work. Home sound system is no longer connected in the house. We had to buy candles as the home had a strong mold smell. The bikes were a nice gesture but half of the bikes are broken or on flat. Great home just needs improvement on property management especially when renters/customers are paying for these amenities to be up to par.

We had a great time staying in Destin, and at this home. The beaches were great! I was hopeful that the pictures I saw would be true in that the water was pretty blue with emerald green shores, and they really were. Destin is also very family friendly, especially for little kids. The house was the perfect size for our extended family of 14. Everyone had space and privacy. The home was very clean and came with all of the amenities needed. The pool was also fantastic, and we loved having it enclosed by the screen. We still got plenty of sunshine but didn’t have to worry about any of the creatures of nature. Having access to the bikes and beach gear/equipment was also a bonus. The only downside was the walk to the beach from the house. It was a little too long of a walk for some, as well as to tote all of the equipment. So we had to come up with a system in which one of the people that were staying behind would drive everyone to the gate, and then come back and back everyone up. It definitely worked, it just wasn’t always the most convenient. We did have a couple of minor issues such as one of the toilets not working properly or the dish washer not working, but the maintenance staff was very helpful and came right away. Overall, it was a great trip and we would rent this house again as well as recommend it to others.
