Everything about this location was perfect. My family, friends and I had the best summer weeks here. The kitchen is a dream for people who love to cook together. The pool is the most clean and refreshing pool ever. Large also. And the host, Francesca, is the most wonderful host you can imagine. So loving and helpful. She knows the best places to go (i.e. the advised winery for tasting and lovely food was like in a movie). She keeps the pool continuously extremely clean, without chlorine, and the whole premises bug-free. Without pesticides! I am keen on going there next year again. The location is also perfect of you you want to visit the Terme of Saturnia. We went jogging every other day, and on serveral mornings we saw deers and hopping birds. The small town of Saturnia is really cute, has a small store where you can buy an amazing lot of groceries. And the bakeries there are wonderful.

I did not want to go home.

Villa was perfect. We had a party of 16 adults and one under year old child. We had the best time just hanging in the villa or pool area, and cooking in the massive Italian kitchen. Also nice towns and activities (tennis, golf, hot springs) nearby, hence car is needed to move around everywhere. Francesca was great host with helpful attitude and good tips to make the stay even better.

The entire house and pool were beautiful. The setting is beautiful. We were without a car unexpectedly and the caretaker, Francesca, was very helpful getting us missing groceries, for which we felt extremely grateful and lucky. The space was lovely and well-appointed.

As kind and helpful as the caretaker is, the experience at Villa Turchetto is not very private. While the pool is definitely for your exclusive use, the caretaker's lodgings are right on top of it, and feels like you are in someone else's space. With the close proximity, you feel observed from the first floor of the house as well. The check-out experience was rushed and kind of stressful. Though check-out is at 10, we found cleaning supplies out on the terrace at about 8:30. The caretaker was already out there sweeping at 9, ready for us to get out by 9:20. It was weird, and it is a shame, in case you want to have a last moment on the terrace with a book or a coffee before you leave. Again, we didn't feel like renters as much as people in someone else's space, which is different from other experiences we have had renting an entire house. Probably just not the right dynamic for us.

We really enjoyed our holiday in Saturnia. There were 8 adults and 4 small children. The villa has lots of space and everything you need. Francesca was there to answer any questions and cooked us a beautiful meal when we arrived. The thermal springs are a must. The location is very beautiful and peaceful. Pool is great.

We didn't realise how rural this villa was. You definitely need a car. Nearest shops for groceries is a 15-20 minute drive. Once you know this you can pick up anything you need en route.

We spent amazing time in Michele’s Villa. Everything was perfect there. The Villa is situated between a Tuscan hills and among vineyards. The view is stunning. Villa has a huge garden and nice swimming pool right next to it. You can find the deckchairs and umrellas which let you spend a whole day there. Our favourite part of the Villa was spacious tarrace with the table, chairs, armchairs and sofas for the big group. We were 9 adults + 9 children and we had a lot of space there. You can also find a barbecue there. In the Villa there are 7 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms + one extra toilet on the groundfloor. There is also a little house next to the Villa with the extra bedroom for 2 people, but we didn’t use it as we had enough space in the Villa. You will find all equipment there, there is a lot of beautiful tableware, there is really nothing missing. Villa is very stylish and beautiful. Ms Francesca who takes care of Villa lives on the property. She’s very kind and supportive. We could buy a vegetables from her garden, she gave us tips regarding area and places we should visit, helped us preparing barbecue and helped us in every question we had. She also took care of the swimming pool what was very useful. Thank you Michaele and Francesca for your hospitality and the wonderful holidays we had. We really hope to visit you again in the future. Beautiful setting in the countryside. The hot springs at the Cascate del Mulino are in walking distance. Many places for nice excursions not far away.

The bedrooms are a bit basic.
