no breakfast facilities although a short walk away is a brilliant cafe for excellent breakfasts.

Nice room. Pretty garden. Close to the amenities.

No breakfast. Would have been nice to have breakfast for the price paid. When booking, booking.com states:”pool with a view”. However, when we arrived with swimwear we were advised that the pool wasn’t available to guests due to the running costs. Quite disappointed.

Spotlessly clean. Nice to have tea and biscuits with fresh milk in the fridge. So rare to have this this these days. Bedroom was made up after first days which again is becoming rare. Loved the location and loved the room.

Wifi was good but the code only worked for one device. I did query this and got a new code but had the same issue. In the end I used a combination of wifi and my own 4G data to get online. Not the end of the world but would be good to flag this to whichever company is providing the service to Springwells as most people will have more than just their phone on a weekend stay. Also I couldn't set my own safe combination. I didn't query this so can't blame the hotel but would be good if instructions were provided at checkin next time.

Beautiful location, lovely guest house. We stayed in the "Tree house" room which was very nice, massive bed that was very comfortable, fridge, tea and coffee, large flat screen TV. The owner, Liz, was very helpful.

Single glazed room meant more noise crept in and so I was awoken by the dawn chorus.

The house is beautiful, the location is really good and the staff are nice people. Also I was able to park outside which was handy. They supplied cutlery when I needed it after getting a takeaway locally and there being nothing to eat it with in my room.

The room was a little smaller than I imagined and the road is a little noisy if you aren't used to it. Also you must check in before 8.30pm because the owner goes to bed early, so I had to organize around this.

very good gust house that I would use again and would recommend. Nice property with a great room in a nice location. The owner was friendly and helpful and there were no issues.

Staff nice and friendly. Breakfast was amazing! Clean and comfortable.

Breakfast was fantastic, the location was marvellous. Lovely gardens with wildlife, with a pool, and the village is beautiful. Easy to walk onto the Downs. Really could not ask for more, and hope to be back.
