The property was exactly as described, perfect for our 6 adults and 4 children. We enjoyed a wonderful family vacation. The Host was very quick to respond and helped us with any questions. We experienced a family emergency (totally unrelated to the property) and the Host was extremely kind and went above and beyond to offer assistance.

The place was great for our family vacation of 9. 5 adults and 4 chilren. The lake was a hit with the kids playing on the paddle board a kayaks. Everyone enjoyed our time at the Oasis by the Lake.

We enjoyed the very sturdy aluminum dock, 2 kayaks, pool table, air hockey and nearby trips to camelback (zip lines good but mt coaster a bit rough!) and Kalahari (escape room and restaurants) Nice outdoor activities at Barley Creek Brewery (table tennis, bocce, one Pickleball court)

The house was very nice, access to the lake for kayaking was right there. Everyone in our party enjoyed themselves and the house was stocked with everything you will need.

My family and I had an amazing time. All the beds were comfortable, the views are amazing, and the accommodations were perfect for us. We spent much of our time enjoying the dock on the water. My husband enjoyed the kayaks and my niece especially enjoyed using the pool table. We saw deer every day who frequented the front and backyard areas. The hosts were also incredibly responsive with the few questions we had. We definitely plan to stay again in the future. Thank you so much.

Large comfortable home by a lake in the mountains. Equipped with 2 kayaks and a SUP. Grocery stores within easy distance. In a development with amenities for which you have to pay extra for a family. Choice of nearby restaurants somewhat limited. Large outlet mall within about 10 miles.

Our family of 10 - 6 adults and 4 chilidren - spent a lovely, if cool and a bit rainy - July week at this large lake front home. We did a lot of things away from the home - ziplining, visiting waterfalls at the Delaware Recreation Area, riding a scenic train at Jim Thorpe and touring the Asa Parker home. But we also enjoyed the indoor pool on a very rainy afternoon, and everyone loved the kayaks and paddleboard and the pool table in the basement. The layout of the home allowed for privacy for each family, which was great. The basement (walkout) bedroom and bath were great for privacy, but it is dark and pretty humid. And that bed is not the most comfortable. And while overall the house was very clean, there is a need for some particular attention to dusting lamps and corners. But it was a wonderful week for our family and I would highly recommend this facility.

The house was perfect for our group: plenty of space, clean, and right on the lake. (It's even closer than it looks in the picture). Wendy and Jeff were super communicative and friendly. We'll definitely be back.

Our extended family enjoyed a week at Oasis by the Lake and we had a great time. The house was clean, comfortable and had a nicely stocked kitchen. The weather was not great so we really appreciated the game room. The kayaks and fire pit were very fun and the lake access at the dock was close to the house and perfect for fishing.
We bought passes for the Emerald Lakes Amenities, the outdoor pool is very nice and a short walk away. The indoor pool was closed unexpectedly for maintenance which was a bit of a bummer because of the weather.
Overall, we had a wonderful week at Jeff and Wendy’s Oasis!

Our family shared a fun and restful weekend at this home. The location is conveniently located, and with great views of the lake.
We especially enjoyed the kayaks and fire pit! Everything was easily accessible.
The home is spacious and very comfortable.

Wendy and Jeff are incredibly responsive. The house is in a perfect location (right on the lake) and the kids went kayaking every day. There are 2 kayaks and plenty of life jackets for everyone! The community also has a beach, a pool, playground, and other amenities that are great for kids of all ages. We also went hiking, rock climbing, and fishing in nearby areas while we were there! We are planning on staying again at this house next summer!

This was our 3rd year in a row staying at Oasis by the Lake. The group consisted of me and my fiancé, his parents, his daughter and my sister and one of her kids. Plenty of space for all of us to hang out, visit, play games, watch baseball (Let’s Go Mets!) and kayak.
There were some issues with the cleaning crew and supplies, but Wendy (the owner) was super responsive and made sure we got everything we needed.

Wonderful Vacation !
We usually have our family vacations at the shore but this was such a wonderful change of pace! The homeowner was responsive and had tons of stuff on their property we could use. We went kayaking, played pool and they even had a kids fishing rod that my niece had so much fun carrying around. We ended our nights by the fire ! I would love to come back !

Beautiful Home, Amazing Location!
We stayed at this lovely home for an extended weekend with my family of 4 and another family of 4. The house is immaculate and the location was perfect for our kids ranging from 9-12 years old. The home was beautifully decorated and we had a wonderful stay. The homeowners were communicative with any questions we had as well. Looking forward to renting this home again!

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The home is well-stocked and very clean. Location was great, with easy access to fun winter activities for the family. The hosts were accessible by phone at all times, which made us feel safe and welcomed. Would highly recommend and hope to be back soon!

Fantastic Family Christmas
We loved our time here. We were able to hold a family Christmas with my parents (the grandparents) and their 3 kids family’s including 4 grandkids.
The home was beautiful and well stocked with supplies and cooking equipment. It was a comfortable Xmas for us.
The property was great, with access to the lake and a nice fire pit area.
We will be booking here again.

A Thanksgiving to remember
Oasis on the Lake is aptly named. The home has wonderful views of and access to the lake, although the weather was too nippy to do much outdoors. Maybe next summer? The home is comfortable with space for everyone. Everyone loved the game room. The beds are spa-like. My family thanks the hosts for making their home open to us.

Really an Oasis By the Lake!
Had a really relaxing extended weekend at this house with my family. Owners were very proactive with any concerns or questions and the house fit our needs. The views from the back of the house, especially during sun rise were stunning. Overall pleasant experience with memories for a lifetime.

Pleasant stay!
Enough room to accommodate 5 couples. Great lake view, comfortable and cozy seatings in the living room. All 5 bedrooms have good size. I just hope that more paper towels, napkins, tea bags, ground coffee, shampoos and soaps were provided. We have stayed at many other places and these sort of stuffs are usually available. Overall a great experience, and definitely recommend!

Getaway of the city 2021

Great family getaway
We enjoyed our trip! The layout of the house was perfect for a family group. We appreciated the extra kitchen supplies (plastic wrap, aluminum foil, coffee filters, etc) and the beds were really comfortable.

3 Generations
This was the second time vacationing at Oasis on the Lake. There were 8 of us: my fiancé and I, his adult daughter and her boyfriend, his sister, and his parents. We had a wonderful Covid vacation at the lake house last year (after having to cancel our cruise) and decided to do it again this year. The house and all of its amenities were so perfect last year that we didn’t even consider finding another house. We were more than happy to rent from Jeff and Wendy again.

Great house, wonderful stay.
We had 3 families (6 adults and 6 kids) stay at the house and we fit comfortably. The house was very clean and beautifully decorated with a great kitchen. The game room was great, we used the fire pit and sat on the dock. The lake the house is on wasn’t swimmable but we used the main beach on a different lake. Communicating with Wendy and Jeff was easy and stress free. The house is as advertised and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay.

Beautiful property and location!
We had a wonderful time at Oasis on the Lake. Everything as expected from pictures. Great fun for the kids between pools, friendly deer roaming around all over the place and great downstairs game room!
