I have been to the hostel before so I am familiar with the surroundings and the set up. It suits my needs. It has good transport links and can is also a 20 minute walk from Gard du Nord.

The catering staff can be a bit aggressive towards the youngsters particularly at breakfast time.

Excellent value for money, friendly staff, good breakfast.

It was really clean, the staff was really nice and helpful. The hostel is really close to the metro station which is so good for when you want to move around the city.

the area was a bit far out and would stay closer in next time. The room itself was clean but the shared bathrooms felt and smelled dirty.

The room myself and my partner stayed in was hotter than the sun! It had a fan / aircon button that was on when you left the key in, but you couldn’t feel it at all and the window only opened about 2cm meaning there was no breeze whatsoever coming in. I literally think I got about 30 mins sleep on my first night because it was so hot. The shower in the room only has a hot tap so you can’t cool yourself down with this. All of this, with bunk beds and a slither of a pillow for £70 a night!? I will never be going back to this hotel.

Nice architecture! Great to be able to store bikes.

We were told on booking we could only store 4 bikes but when we turned up (we had a large party) we could store all 7 bikes. We spent a lot of time fussing over where we could keep the excess bikes before our trip.

Helpful staff. Great building with generous sized room. Quiet room due to double glazing. Comfortable beds and pillows. Good breakfast was included.

No cold water in our room. Shower was high pressure but temperature fluctuated quite a lot.

Breakfast was good but a little strict. I would have like two pieces of fruit but was told this was not allowed.

price is amazing. one night for two people in Paris was 48€. (breakfast included) the beds are comfortable. the shower is in the room. very hot water. breakfast was great and a good choice to eat. the room was clean.

location is the worst disadvantage of the place even though it’s only 15 mins by metro from the centre. (that’s why it’s v cheap and with breakfast included) it’s a very dark, dangerous and scary neighborhood. a loooot of strange people on the streets doing weird things. it was only 8pm but walking 1000m from the metro station was crazy. like a nightmare. one of two toilets for the whole floor(I think for around +-30 rooms). very dirty. smells horrible. small addition: there were no towels. and the stuff during breakfast were rude.
