Ich möchte darauf ganz besonders hinweisen, dass die Rezeptionistinnen sehr freundlich, bemüht, kundenorientiert und professionell waren. Sie haten immer ein Lächeln im Gesicht. Unglaublich, Sie wussten auf alle meine Fragen (ich als Europäerin die Schneestürme und Kälte nicht gewohnt) eine Antwort und machten ,meinen Kurzaufenthalt zu einem besonderen Erlebnis. Ich konnte mich leider nicht früher melden um an dem Survey teilzunehmen, da ich am 7. Jan 2024 von Wien nach Sioux City flog und bereits am 10. Jan wieder über Chicago, Newark, Zurich nach Wien zurückflog. Ich stand unter sehr viel Stress und die Damen am Rezeptionstisch waren einfach grossartig. Ich musste mich am Tag meiner Ankunft 11. Januar 2024 ins Krankenhaus begeben zu einer dringenden Behandlung und konnte mich daher nicht früher melden.
Das Avid Hotel in Sioux City ist sehr zu empfehlen.

High traffic area right off the highway. Hotel smelled like it was covered in alcohol. The rooms are small and that’s something I personally don’t like.

The IHG Hotel was very quiet. Our bathroom was roomy and very nicely set up. My family member loved the idea that the exercise room was open 24/7.
There was no swimming pool or hot tub to enjoy.

We enjoyed our stay. The room was a nice size and clean. We loved the grab and go breakfast!

I enjoyed this place for three nights. The bed was very comfortable, and I appreciated how the room was laid out. It was mostly very quiet and I got good sleep! The breakfast was simple but very adequate.
I think I liked everything. I felt very comfortable at this place.

breakfast was great. I loved it. i was in town for the expo pool tournament and the shuttle service was on point. they were always there when i called them. love the joyful happiness each driver had. all the staff was very helpful with suggestions on what was good locally.
The rooms were very dry. the bed and pillows were great. just the room was so stale. otherwise every part of the room was great. bathrooms were good

Not the greatest but hey it was food . Location is not bad but everything down that way right now is under construction. A lounge area/bar /restaurant would be a great asset in my opinion.

The room was perfect. And when I got in the bed, it was like being in heaven sorta speak. Never in my seventy years of travel have I experienced such comfort.

Very nice hotel with very friendly staff! They met my requests that I asked them to do when I booked the rooms.
The tile floors in the room. They are cold most of the time. Getting out of the shower dirt or whatever is on the floor sticks to your nice clean feet. Continental Breakfast isn't very good....not much to choose from either.

Breakfast was very good. Only fresh fruit was banana, maybe one or two more varieties will be good to add. Location was good except for door to get in/ out right there making it at some point crowded.
I wish stuff was more friendly, happy, greet me ( except only one person that happily greets me in the morning) It was maybe between 2-3 pm, that I stopped by front desk to ask why housekeeping didn’t come yet and I was requested service ( specifically asking to beds to be made, clean towels, trash out , sink cleaned bathroom flooring?Unfortunately, only trash was out and cleaned towels, Dust and some crumbs were left from previous gest behind entry door.

That let us use the lobby to entertain family members. Beds were very comfortable.
Ice salt was on ground and got tracked into room, Did not get cleaned for 3 days. Ran out of body wash 2 day and did not get refilled had to go to desk where I picked up soap and towels because they possibly did not work on New Year’s Day. Never seen anyone. Snowed a couple times and lot was not cleaned.

It was well located with easy acces to gas station, highways, and restaurants.
Room above mine was very noisy. I could hear people in it walking.
Another point, I made and paid my reservation using booking.com. The morning of my departure from the hotel I was having my breakfast in the lobby when my credit card alerted me about another charge from the hotel I have already paid for. I walked to the helpdesk and informed the clerck about what I have noticed. He told me that it was an error. But a day after my checkout I have not received my refund yet.

Nice motel. My room was clean and comfortable. Except I had a disabled room not regular room. Shower was good and great internet. Okay breakfast. Might come back again. Thanks.
Only thing don't like was there was no refrigerator and microwave in the room. Couldn't keep my drinks cold. Blackouts drapes were not dark to me in the room.
