Thought it was an extra £5 for the dog to stay - but it was £10.

All very good - but if I’m pressed for a negative the room was very noisy from the pub entertainment immediately below the room. Should have gone downstairs and enjoyed it!

Excellent dinner of seabass and Lyonaisse potatoes and English breakfast in the morning. The location was great with the ruined castle and the duck pond just across the road. Bed was very comfortable - slept well.

Alot of traffic, maybe because of a temporary diversion.

Beds very uncomfortable, HGV trucks and traffic right outside windows day and night. Girl in bar rude and unhelpful when we ate in the evening, but other staff were lovely and helpful.

Room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly especially Rebecca who dealt with breakfast which was perfect.

Good bedroom facilities. Nice bar and restaurant. Value for money.

The Inn was old and rustic it was lovely , the staff friendly and cheerful. Rooms had character ,spacious .Breakfast was exceptional. I would highly recommend and will definitely be going back .

Accommodate people staying as last meal times were 5.30pm but run out of certain things.

It’s central location across the road from the castle ruins. The breakfast was good quality.

The beds, with poor quality mattress, limited time to have breakfast, 1 hour. It started too late.

The location was excellent! Also the hotel bar area was very good.

There was no wardrobe in the bedroom and the washbasin in the bathroom was half blocked. The shower was also dangerous as it was scalding hot as soon as it was turned on and then very difficult to control. The young man who took us to the room wasn't very helpful - simply walked ahead of us to our room and left us without any information about the facilities. We were also given 2 different times for the breakfast being served. The actual breakfast left a 45 minute gap between cereal and cooked breakfast. It therfore took an hour to have our meal.

Lovely old pub in a superb location across from the castle with great staff and food. They fully accommodated us with an early breakfast due to us running Parkrun. Very impressed.

Well room was to hot and I didn't know how to turn it down .and some of the breakfast was a little cold.but other than that was very nice place to stay and would again

ground floor outstanding with very good food and drink but unfortunately the upstairs has structural problems with floors running out bad

floors in bedroom my bed was at a bad slope made all the blood go to my head 🤦‍♂️ extractor and shower over bath needs servicing as its sounds like they are going to explode
