Clean accommodation with a beautiful view and a helpful host.

The garden was pretty. The host was very friendly and pleasant.

The mattress was very soft and uncomfortable. The shower room didn't seem private enough as you could see right out in the road from the shower. I don't know what a toothbrush was doing in the shower either. It made me wonder whether the previous person forgot it and why it wasn't removed by the housekeeper.

Great location, Fabian was a wonderful host and the room was large and well equipped. I could not recommend the property enough. Looking forward to a return visit.

The property is in a very quiet residential location with lovely views and the possibility of sitting outside if the weather permits. There is plenty of wardrobe/drawer space and a pleasant sitting area with a comfortable 2-seater sofa. The bath has recently been replaced with a shower. As we were not planning to cook, the absence of any hob, pans, kitchen sink etc was not a problem.

It is a 7-10 minute walk to a bus stop, involving an uphill walk (with buses only half hourly or hourly up to 8pm). As the property is part the way up a steep hillside, to get to Warlingham Village without a car requires good timing or a moderately energetic walk. Whyteleafe and Upper Warlingham station are down-hill - at least going there!

Easy key collection due to host on site. Tea and coffee provided Host was keen to explain all features of the flat Excellent view across the countryside

There is no parking allowed on site - which is disappointing when the host has a wide drive. Flat was very hot - furniture layout means access to heating control almost impossible. Bed is next to wall - so access for one partner can be an issue. Lots of signs and instructions - host may feel these are helpful - we felt they were over the top.

web site is very misleading as there is no parking. No well equipped kitchen ie no hob & oven as shown & no pots & pans etc. Washing up in bathroom basin is unacceptable contravening health & safety.Most equipment is not working eg central fire shown & cd radio etc..Glad it was not cold when we were there.We have photos to back up our statement.

Fabian was a very accompanying host. Available should he be required and came to our rescue minutes before our taxi arrived for a night out.
