We absolutely loved this rental. It was very clean, close to downtown and the bed was so comfortable! Thank you!

We loved everything about this place. The decor was so pretty, the bed was super comfortable, and all of the extras that were provided (beach accessories, chairs, games) were great. The balcony was our favorite spot for morning coffee and unwinding at the end of a busy day. I came with a friend but am already planning for a return trip with my husband. Highly recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful unit. No detail has been overlooked, including high-end finishes in the construction of every room. All that you could ever need is in this unit, including crockpots and other small appliances. There’s even portable chairs that you can take down to the park for concerts on Wednesday nights or sand castle molds for the beach. The bed was super comfortable. The living room/kitchen combo is gorgeous and the porch is amazing in the morning or at night. The only thing I would bring would be your pillows as those are usually personal to one’s comfort. Lastly, the location and parking were also very convenient. Highly recommend the Lilly Pad!

My family and I have stayed at numerous rentals now and Dawn’s so far is my favorite. Hands down. I’m very particular and generally not comfortable away home, but this house was exceptional. It was so clean and so comfortable. We could walk everywhere but didn’t have foot traffic. It was lovely and I slept so well. Our favorite restaurants were the southerner and the farmhouse deli.

This property was spotless and so well appointed! It had everything you would need and then some. The king bed was very comfortable and the size of the bedroom was very spacious. The shower is huge and there were wonderful smelling toiletries.
The covered porch was wonderful anytime of day but especially delightful in the evening with the lights.
Will definitely book this place again!

Dawn was amazing, the bed was super comfy. The location was perfect with a shot walk to downtown and all the fun things to do. Super close to Douglas where we caught up with my wifes brother and husband! I def will stay here again!!!!

The apartment was perfect for our family with two toddlers. The location was great for walking into town and close to the playground. The apartment was beautifully updated and clean and had everything we needed (including beach toys and games). Would definitely stay here again!

Everything about this unit is incredible--exactly as advertised. Enough cannot be said about how much effort Dawn puts into making sure that everything is clean and prepared for visitors. It was a beautiful place and space! Every detail of the rental was in perfect order, clean and met all our needs. We enjoyed the quiet of the upper level with a deck to sit on throughout the day. We especially appreciated the nice and easy walk into town for meals, shopping and exploring.
Oval Beach was our go to ($10/day pass) as well as biking and hiking trails. Kayaking was available out of Douglas, but the wind was strong the day we were planning.
We chatted with Dawn upon arrival. She was gracious, available and offered suggestions for our needs, but left us to our privacy.
We would recommend her place!

I enjoyed a lovely Fall weekend getaway with my spouse at the property. We found it very comfortable for the two of us, and we loved the location. Would be a very short walk to town (if the weather had cooperated). Property was very clean and comfortable. We loved it!

We are pretty seasoned travelers and both agreed this is one of the best units we have ever rented. Spotlessly clean and seasonal decor added to the feeling of home away from home. Quiet, peaceful and a short walk to shopping and restaurants. We enjoyed all the activity at the bird feeder in back as well. Thank you for providing such a wonderful experience.

We had a wonderful stay at the Lily pad suite. It was super clean, recently updated, and had everything we needed to enjoy a fantastic weekend getaway. The location was convenient for walking into town, no need to stress over finding a parking spot, and was also convenient for getting out to explore all the area has to offer. We would highly recommend the suite!

Lily Pad
Lily Pad was a delightful apartment. Everything was spotlessly clean and the hosts were great. I can’t think of anything that was lacking. We especially loved sitting on the porch for morning coffee. We strongly recommend this spot in Saugatuck.

Perfect Homebase for Exploring Saugatuck and SW Michigan shores
This was our second time staying in one of the Nature Preserve units and we are already looking forward to the next time! Impeccable grounds keeping and house arrangements for a very comfortable stay and relaxing place to stay while exploring all that the area has to offer. Walking distance to great restaurants, shopping, and cafes plus easy access to escape the downtown and cruise across the river to Oval Beach and the root beer barrel. Highly recommend staying here if you’re looking at visiting Saugatuck

The walk to downtown was just about 5 minutes. Great location. This is by far the nicest place we have stayed in Saugatuck. A true gem!
