I liked it because the place is very different than a standard Chinese hotel. It is a completely different vibe. Not that I'm not into Chinese culture, I love it, but when it comes to hospitality, hotels in general don't aim at foreigners. Stey is a place for foreigners who want to enjoy the most vibrant artistic neighbourhood in Beijing.

Everything was se nice! Coffee and soft drinks for free, the gym is awesome and fully equipped, lots of books to read. Such a nice place.

The place is near lots of small shops and people work there are friendly. You can cook with others or alone in your room. If you aren't interested in cooking, there are lots of restaurants too

깔끔한 인테리어, 모든 기능이 자체앱으로 연동됨(그런데 쓰다보면 그냥 스위치 이용하게 됨 ㅎ), 괜찮은 부대시설, 대로만 건너면 798 예술구. 좋은 가성비. 직원들 친절함. 1층 도삭면집 맛있어요.

왕징남역에서 걸어서 15분 정도 걸림. 강변으로 걸으면 날씨 좋을때는 걸을만 한데, 야간이나 날씨 안 좋을때는 힘들어요. 예술구까지 안 가면 괜찮은 식당이나 편의점이 없고, 호텔 주변은 시장통이라 지저분하고 교통이 정신없습니다. 다른 후기대로 택시 기사들이 호텔 위치를 못 찾습니다. 주소까지 알려줘도 엉뚱한데로 가서 제가 지도로 유도해서 도착했어요. 아마도 비슷한 거리 이름이 주변에 있는 모양.

Location is not great. Walked 1.2km to the train station. Outside town.

All the receptionists and staffs are incredibly friendly and always passionated answering all the questions. In addition, they really helped me a lot by calling a taxi even I couldn’t use the WeChat payment, we all know how difficult it is to pay anything without having WeChat payment or Alipay in China LOL. And they also automatically gave me some suggestions for how to travel alone in Beijing, where to go and where should go even they knew that I’m leaving the next day early morning to Jiling(Northeast of China). The hospitality of the hotel was amazing so I decided to change my fly ticket to get more days going back to Beijing and stay at the same hotel “STEY” slowly and take my time to visit this beautiful city. I’ve traveled to many countries, live in Paris for a long time, traveled many times in China but only in the South of China and with friend or family, this is my first time traveling alone in China, although Mandarin is my mother tongue, still felt very nervous but they just make me feel like I’m at my second home. Like a big family, really touched me a lot. Thank you !

The only thing is that if you do not have a number that could receive domestic message in China. You won’t have the password for entering your room😂 I know it’s for security and I appreciate that but for a foreign traveler, it’s quite inconvenient

People at the reception was super helpful. There were free sodas and a nice kitchen and common area which are also nice. Gym and laundry room to use for free and a cozy Cafe just below the hotel!

The stay was perfect, however if you get there by metro and you are using google maps dont trust the address from google! Use Baidu maps instead :-)

Wonderful people running this hotel and it really is super comfortable and clean and friendly. So what else could anyone want?

Excellent hotel, rooms are super clean we stayed here twice and they were happy to store our bags between both stays while we went to visit the great wall. Super helpful friendly staff close to buses, 10min walk to subway station, short walk to buses, 798 art zone entrance directly across the road, loads of restaurants close by. I highly recommend this hotel. Free coffee and soft drinks available, offer excellent amenities.

De kastdeuren zijn op slot voor kort verblijf en kunnen open voor lang verblijf wat maakt dat alles gesloten was en je niets kon opbergen. Misschien standaard enkele open laten ? Best ver van het centrum maarja je moet toch altijd een taxi nemen in het grote Beijing :)

Very clean, modern, and nice.

Location is not too great except for that it is close to 798, which is cool, but it’s far from the rest of the city’s main attractions and very far from a metro station.

The bed was really comfortable and the bathroom was nice. They had drinking water in their taps and had many beautiful lights. Enough towels

I didn't like the fact that when I was checking in they told me to pay deposit but it was not written on the advert. I paid it thinking they will give me in the morning to my surprise they said I will get it after 24hours and until today I didn't get it.

Their service was excellent. The staff are willing to help. Quick check-in, clean room.

The room was clean and modern. It was also convenient having the coffee shop downstairs. We really enjoyed our stay.

(+) Sustainable: A much needed trait in a fast developing country, absent in the majority of hotels. Here there is no unnessesary waste, only use of bio-friendly materials, and friendly recommendations in the app on how to be more sustainable. (+) Facilities: Nordic style decoration, minimal & smart space utilization, with focus on comfort & quality. By far best hotel facilities I have seen, outperforming any 5-star hotels. (+) Community: The use of the shared facilities as well as the app features makes this place feel like a friendly community where one can socialize with others, or focus on their own work in a shared space. (+) Value: By far exceeding what you get with what you pay. The location next to 798 is also very good, conveniently close to the airport.

The room is comfortable and quiet. No TV, which was quite weird.

This is a place for digital nomads, not an hotel for business travelers. The location is not close to metro, and traffic is really terrible. They are also lacking to understand the needs for business travelers. I HAD TO PAY 18RMB TO GET THE INVOICE, which is the first time for me. I suggest the manager to do some training for the staff on how to handle foreigner visitors requests and needs .

The hotel is soo beautiful.Cool, trendy,super clean.You have a small fridge and microwave in the room.And there is also a big shared kitchen next to reception. Staff are incredibly nice.Very helpful.Most of them speak English.(This is a big plus)

I cannot think of something bad.All is perfect.

There are no useless frills, but everything I needed was there. Everything works, everything is clean. Rooms and common facilities are well designed with a Scandinavian touch. Staff is helpful and speaks good English. The gym is not very big but modern and well equipped.

Interior of room is so beautiful and the washroom was even more beautiful. Except the room there is nothing else in this hotel .no lobby no restaurant. No breakfast facility.

I went there with my older sister for the transit to Dalian. The hotel is located opposite 798 art street which is a good area for taking a walk and sightseeing. Inside the room is so fabulous and so stylist which I really love the design. Under the hotel, it has an Australian's style café you can try it.

It's a bit difficult to find a hotel. The taxi driver took around 20-30 minutes to find the hotel because the location from Google map (either Chinese map) or booking.com are not the same. So he drives around the area and it wastes a lot of time.

I enjoyed my time at Stey 798 Art Zone Hotel. My room was clean and quiet and the staff were very helpful in answering all of my questions. Furthermore, the property's location meant that I could easily explore the 798 district or catch the subway.
