The location was perfect for my needs. The apartment was clean and had every amenity one could want. Most importantly the staff and rental agent were very helpful.

When I inquired about the rental, I said that I need to stay until after sabbath ended (6pm). No reply. When I booked the property, I stated it again. The next communication was to confirm the booking. So both comments were made prior to booking and the booking was accepted. I recieved check in instructions, including the owner's email address to which I needed to send my license plate number so that he could pass it on to security so that they would let me in to the garage. I did so. Security did not have my license plate and it took some begging to be let in, including going in to show the guard the communications. When I entered, the apartment was relatively clean, although there was some grime and baked on foods on some of the dishes. The apartment appeared to match the advert. At approximately 2pm a cleaner showed up. He told me he had instructions to clean the apartment because someone was checking in at 4pm. I told him that I had communicated my need to stay until after the sabbath ended. He told me he had no such info and the owner is sabbath observant so he can't be reached. But that we had to get out and he was going to stay there until we left. I am also sabbath observant so I couldn't show him my communications. I had no choice but to pack up belongings and hide them under my car (since we can't open the car on the sabbath). We were then forced to walk around for over 3 hours in a cold rain because we had been wrongfully thrown out of the rental. I reached out to the owner who said I got a larger apartment (no I didn't, it matched the advert) and I got it at a discount (I paid the full asking price). I threatened this review and a formal complaint to VRBO if he didn't refund me the rental. He did not respond, so here is the review. He should be banned from VRBO for what he did. How do you throw someone out in the middle of winter and not have a backup communication option. I was stuck with noone to speak to, with two children aged 12 and 9, with nowhere to go and with all of my luggage hidden underneath a car.....awful awful awful!!!!!
