The unit could use a good scrub. It looks like it's gotten only surface cleanings for a while. There were ants in the kitchen and living room areas, mold in the window in the shower, a really dirty bath mat in the bathroom and the sofa smelled of body odor. The pictures on the listing are accurate in that all the furnishings are the same, but it was not cozy or comfortable because of the cleanliness. All things are fixable with a good, deep cleaning!

Clean, nice layout, older but well maintained, fantastic location. Super easy check in and out. Everything was set up as advertised and in good working condition. I would definitely stay here again. It's not for someone who wants modern.

The location was great, so close to beach and loved the ability to sit out back on the deck and on the grass. Very quiet as well. The only things I could see that were small issues were: The bathroom needs to have the shower sprayed with bleach and scrubber as there is mildew and the sink in the bathroom is almost completely clogged and barely drains.

Simple check in, wish you had earlier check in times. Walking distance to beach right out the back. Close enough to other places if you don’t mind a walk. I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. (The dishes/bowls were greasy when I went to cook. The bathroom and floors were also dirty. The tub clogged EVERYTIME I used it to take a shower. The towels smelled a bit, The bedroom floor near window always had a puddle of water in front of it. I’m not sure why. We slept on top of covers on the bed so I didn’t check out the sheets or anything.) but this was all house cleaning issues. Everything else was great! Booking was super quick and easy. Perfect set up. Thank you!

Works well for a couple. Only downside was the wifi did not work at all. Not sure if it was the cable system signal not including wifi, the cable modem not passing wifi through, the CAT5 cable between the cable modem and the wifi modem, or the wifi modem itself that was the problem. Rental agency not much help, and no technician showed up to diagnose the problem.

The condo is quaint and very conveniently located. There are lots of restaurants and shops within short walking distance and beach access is literally around the corner. The condo is outdated but has all the needed amenities. The pictures on the website are a little misleading. The pics with ocean view give an impression that there is a view but there is not. They are areal shots from further away. View is bushes. It also would have nice to know that the bathroom is by the kitchen. That would have been a deal breaker for us had we known that.

We were curious about Ocean Shores and decided to book a place last minute. Check out was very easy and instructions for the stay were clearly communicated. The location is close to many restaurants and stores so we really only had to walk places. Great for the weekend!

I went online and booked it fir a week. I received a confirmation via email and then a phone call. Laurie was amazing and whenever I had questions, they were very friendly and accomodating.

Thank you so much for providing a perfect spot for my daughter and I to spend her 9th birthday. The condo has everything we needed and was close to everything in Ocean shores. Highly recommend!

Walks on the beach; fun eating out; relaxing with Netflix Good tv reception

We had a wonderful time, yes. We will certainly want to use these facilities again. We were unable to use the hide-a-bed in the living room because it seems to be jammed, stuck/broken on one side, preventing us from pulling it out. Other than that, everything was in working order, and we appreciated all of the little details that went into making the place perfect! So glad that we could bring our family dog with us as well.

Renting this property was easy and the cost was reasonable, however, I do take exception to the lack of clean sheets for the queen bed (sand was all over the fitted sheet) & the sofa sleeper was not functional. It was stuck and took 2 people to pull it out successfully. You would be wise to have it replaced or repaired as someone could easily get hurt trying to open it.

I came for a solo retreat and this was a very good spot for it. It was very quiet, well furnished, and mostly quite clean. It has a a spacious living dining/room for a one bedroom. The bed was reasonably comfortable and you have control of the heat in each room which made it very cozy. Compared to other properties it was a good value for the price. What knocked this down a star for me was a lack of attention to detail: The location backs to the dunes. I was very excited about this but bummed to find that the property trail was overgrown and I had to go to the next property to use their trail. The back door, as mentioned in other reviews is very tricky to lock - so much so that you might think it was broken if you weren't up to fiddling with it for a few minutes. The bathtub plug mechanism is coming off, so no warm bubble bath for my retreat... And while most of the home (bathroom, kitchen, living room) was clean I found a dog treat in the spare linens and parts of the bedroom near the doors and windows had clearly not been cleaned in a very long time. There were 4 remotes and no instructions for the television. There was a faux fireplace with no instructions for use.

We had a wonderful, quiet, clean condo close to all of Ocean Shores amenities. With our grandchildren with us the condo was easy access in and out. Tile floors are easy to clean up with the kiddos. An overall great place for our family.

Close to the beach and everything else.

Cute property and loved the location. Close to beach, restaurants and local bar. Clean inside! The lawn wasn’t mowed which kept us from enjoying the back patio area. A fix to the sliding screen is needed. We would stay there again.

The property was great overall, the only complaint is how hard the bed is. Everything else was excellent from the location to amenities. We hope to visit again, maybe with a softer bed.

Property needs physical improvements on sliders, blinds, out door tables! Excellent location to beach, quiet, small and efficient kitchen. Walk to pub, pizza.

My best friend and I had a wonderful stay here! We were so happy to find a place that allowed our dogs. It was right in town and very walkable to shops, restaurants and the beach. The condo was incredibly clean and comfortable. We will absolutely stay here again!

Cozy beach stay.

Small condo close to the beach and shops. We took our 11 month old and it was a good 2 night stay. Back sliding door in bedroom doesn’t lock, pvc pipe is used in the rail to block the door from opening. Everything else was good though. Nice having the Ocean Pours Tap room in the same lot. Would stay again. Great price.

Hassle free stay, someone put a lot of thought into making this space as efficient as possible.

The condo was great! A little dark even with all the blinds open but the weather was overcast. The bed was pretty firm, not our preference but wasn't horrible. There was only salt, pepper and Lawry's seasoning so if you're planning to do some cooking bring any other seasonings & cooking essentials. They did have gallon zip lock bags, but that was about it. Plenty of dishes and utensils, & they did have a wine opener. There weren't extra trash bags (that we found) so we had to take the bag out of the trash can to add more to it, but it wasn't a big deal, we used grocery bags for the excess. The location was great, a quick walk to the beach and close to restaurants and stores.

This is an adorable, clean condo and we had a terrific time. We will definitely come back and stay here!

Clean and centrally located. great place for quick visit

We found this listing based on needing accommodations for ourselves and our two dogs, but we decided to leave our dogs at home prior to confirming our booking. The directions to the condo were a bit lacking for us, we drove past the actual place several times as the same address number was also on a beer bar directly in front of the condos, and we arrived after dark due to traffic. When we finally pulled in and I checked my emails, we were able to get the key code and were very pleased with how clean, quaint, and prettily decorated everything was. On the listing, however, it said there was a dishwasher, but there was not, which I was very disappointed in as it was necessary to be able to sanitize the provided dishes due to the pandemic. We ultimately hand-rewashed the couple of items we used and did not prepare food due to the lack of a dishwasher. Also, it would have been nice to know where the hose was to rinse our beach shoes, we cleaned them as best as we could outside and put them in bags to finish at home, my husband located the hose directly in front of another condo after it was no longer needed. There was little to no communication with the property management company, we left two messages for check in the day prior to arrival, and checkout the day of departure and never actually spoke to anyone nor had any response back, except for email. There was also no wifi available at all- the directions said wifi was free but unprotected- however the only wifi logins came with passwords that weren't provided. I assumed that in-town rental properties nowadays have wifi- lesson learned! I needed it for my old-school laptop so that I could participate in a Zoom conference, which I had to miss. The proximity of the condos to the beach was amazing, and we were pleased that they weren't too crowded, either. The condo is very sturdy and well heated, and seemed to weather the wind and rain storm we had during the stay very well. In retrospect, we would have been very cramped with our two dogs so I was glad that my son volunteered to watch them for us. The condo is perfectly suited to a couple but would be a bit cramped with more than that due to the small bathroom. It would be helpful if management could leave a binder with instructions and locations of things needed, such as the aforementioned hose. Overall, a very quaint and exceptionally clean place, we enjoyed it very much, and had a very nice 20th anniversary.
