We had a group of high school seniors down for spring break. This property was perfect for our group of family and friends. The younger people loved having plenty of space in the main level pool while the adults enjoyed the upper level pool and views. There was not one single detail overlooked in this property, we highly recommend and hope to return.

What a wonderful home. We stayed at Casa Agave January 18-23,2024. Nothing is ever as good as it looks in pictures, except for Casa Agave. Just as beautiful as the pictures! Pools were absolutely gorgeous. Rooftop views were amazing. Our group loved all the outdoor areas to enjoy the beautiful weather and views, The house has everything you could possibly ever need. The kitchen was beyond well stocked and the water dispensers were so convenient and it was nice not to have to always use plastic bottles. Bedrooms are so spacious, with tons of closet and dresser space for your belongings. Beds and pillows are comfortable and provide a wonderful night of sleep. The outdoor showers were also a huge hit. Such a wonderful way to wake up in the morning. House is close and within walking distance to many great restaurants / bars on the south side of the island. There are no complaints or downsides that I can think of when it comes to this home, except it was so nice sometimes it was hard to get the group to leave for the day. Everyone just wanted to stay and enjoy the house!! If we ever have the opportunity to rent a house on the island again Casa Agave will be the first place we check out. The house is also earning quite a reputation on the island. Many people we spoke to asked us where we were staying. We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Agave. We love Isla Mujeres and this was our fourth trip there. The location of Casa Agave is great and within walking distance of six or eight really good restaurants. We love the quietness on that end of the island and love the golf cart trip around the island, to downtown, and Playa Norte. The house is beautiful and we spent every morning and evening on the rooftop area with the endless pool and palapa. The 360 degree view is spectacular and is great for experiencing sunrises and sunsets. The downstairs pool was great for unwinding after a day exploring the island. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and we were able to make guacamole, salsa, and mimosas with fresh squeezed orange juice. It was great that each suite had a full bath for convenience and privacy. All of the fixtures are first rate. The staff was responsive to our needs although we didn’t have many. I look forward to our next trip to Isla and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. Thanks for a great vacation!

The best VRBO we have encountered yet! The casa is amazing. 4 full master suites seperate enough for everyone to have their own space. Me.my husband, 3 daughters with husbands/significant others and a 4 month old baby were very comfortable. Great pool area with plenty of room for 8+. Our parents and brother with tween daughters rented a place near by but spent everyday at the pool with us. Fully stocked kitchen allowed us to cook for a crowd! Highly recommend. Only downside for kids under 8 is the pool area is VERY slippery. They provide mats which work but more are needed. We cant wait to come back!

The property is even better than what shows on line...It is absolutely stunning! We opted to have the main pool heated and we spent a lot of time at the Casa and in the pool! We did not rent golf carts this trip, took taxis, the bus and sometimes just walked! El Borracho Burro is literally right around the corner and was fun-they have great food, drinks and entertainment! We also utilized the Isla Delivers service and that too was easy. We didn't have to pay until the food was delivered and it was very quick! Jan, the concierge was wonderful and explained everything upon our arrival. Working with Michele, the property owner was also seamless. She was always very responsive to answer questions or to meet our needs/requests. There are 4 king suites and they are all fabulous! The kitchen has every thing you could possibly need in it! The rooftop view is the best, you get the sunrise AND the sunset! We were at a restaurant on Hidalgo and our waiter asked where we were staying and we told him Casa Agave and he said that rooftop view is the best on the island!!! He had been there making food deliveries in the past. Highly recommend this property! We would love to go back and stay in the future!

Our family of 8 stayed in Casa Agave in February 2024. There are two beautiful suites on the first floor and the master suite is on the second floor with the kitchen and outdoor dining and living room. The 4th suite is near the pool, separate from the main house…but just a few steps away. The kitchen was well equipped and Michele had many spices available for us to use. Also there is a water fountain on the first floor and the 2 nd floor in the kitchen. Drinking water being supplied was a very nice surprise. Casa Agave has a small hotel in front of it, the Hotel La Joya…and was used the hotel as our landmark to get around the island. We all loved the Casa Agave and would not hesitate to stay there again on our next trip to Isla Mujeres.

Wow! What an incredible 8 days at Casa Agave! To say the property is amazing is an understatement! Communication from the booking to check in was great. And Jan Carlos was something special. From the smile at check in to the initial tour of the property, he was such a delight. Michele has a top notch team to ensure you are well taken care of. Golf carts, catered lunch, a well stocked fridge, recommended island hot spots, nothing was missed! The property has the most amazing views, relaxing spaces both indoors and out and is situated on the quiet side of the island but still within walking distance of some local hot spots. We will be back! Isla Mujeres and Casa Agave created so many memories for my 50th birthday celebration! Thank You!

Casa Agave was a great place for our two families to stay. The house is very modern and is well equipped with seating, kitchen goods, space to feel together or separated if desired. The kids loved the pool. Having access to the hidden beach area was great. We're able to hang out and snorkel. The concerige was very responsive and helped us with any questions we had. The location is out of the main town areas making for a quiet stay with excellent views of Cancun.

We took our kids (16,20,21) and they each bright a friend and the house worked out perfectly for our crew. Clean, beautiful and loved how it was on the southern side of island which is more chill. We drive the golf carts to the north side beaches and to town which we all loved but honestly the restaurants close to casa agave were amazing and we liked going to the beach at Maria’s nearby. I highly recommend getting groceries on your own rather than having delivered only because you can pick out the produce better and probably more cost efficient. Otherwise we loved the food delivered from javi’s cantina and highly recommend. Wish we had also hired them to cook one night at the house. We were only at casa agave for 4 nights and wish we had longer. The rooftop is a beautiful place to hang for sunset, games, cocktails, relaxing!!! Such a terrific spot and we hope to be back!! ❤️

We had 4 couples stay at the house and everyone loved it. The heated pool was a plus since the weather was a little cool during out stay. The house and kitchen was very well equipped. We will definitely come back again!!!

We stayed at Casa Agave for 10 nights over Thanksgiving. We frequent the island and love the south end for the quietness and beautiful views. Casa Agave has a fantastic location and the view was gorgeous! The home was very well thought out and the separate bungalow was perfect suited for our group that included our family of four and an additional couple, who had the bungalow to themselves. The home was well equipped with all you would need for your stay and the owners and management were very responsive and friendly. Thank you again for a great trip!!

We were a group of 8 (four couples). The house was perfect for us. It's a beautiful property with all the amenities you could ever need. We rented two golf carts upon arriving on the island and enjoyed our time checking out new places. The property includes a book with lots of information. The only thing we were unaware until after the fact was that the grocery store does not supply grocery bags so we had to purchase several at $5 a piece to get our three carts of groceries back with us. The house did have lots of extras though. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and agreed we would definitely stay at Casa Agave again!

We had an excellent stay at Casa Agave, I had searched for months for the right place for us. I had been looking for a house that a view of the Sunset and overlooked Cancun and this place hit all the spots. The House was clean and is laid out perfectly as we had 4 couples altogether but we never felt like we’re cramped or overrun by each other. The extra Casita was a thing of beauty by itself. The house has 2 pools, an infinity pool on the top floor which is where we got the best views. It overlooks Hotel La Joya so you don’t have an upfront view but it stunning nonetheless. The checkin was smooth, quick and Jan did a great job by having everything we wanted at the house when we arrived. The house is located on the quiet end close to Punta Sur. It’s just a short walk to the Burracho Burro, the Joint or Rancho Capricho. No matter what it is, to see if someone likes something, I will always ask would they stay again, eat again or whatever. When I asked the group would they stay again and all agreed yes we would. Thanks Michele for the job you did on this house. We definitely will be back! Ronnie

We cane to Isla Mujeres for the first time with 2 other couples looking for a relaxing getaway and the house, atmosphere, location, beaches, restaurants and people did not disappoint. Before our last day we started planning a return trip. Upon arrival we were greeted by Jan Carlos who showed us the house, amenities and gave us some tips on what to see, places to go. He was extremely helpful. The house itself was beyond exceptional. Every detail is well thought out. From the beautifully decorated bedrooms, walk in showers, fully stocked kitchen, infinity rooftop pool, main pool with 2 bars, ocean view from the main floor and everything in between, this is the house you want to stay at. The location was also perfect. It is on the quiet side of the island, which is what we were looking for. Some restaurants, bars, convenient stores, coffee truck, and beach club in walking distance . Directly across the street from the house is a hotel with excellent food that they will deliver right to your table in the house and a breathtaking beach that was quiet and relaxing. We recommend Casa Agave 1000% to anyone looking for a memorable trip to Isla Mujeres and we cant wait to return ourselves. Thank you for an amazing stay.

Our family of 6 people stayed here mid October. The house was spotlessly clean and had everything that we needed. This was our first time staying overnight in Isla Mujeres, and I felt totally safe the entire time we were on the island. The area around Casa Agave was also very safe. It’s a very short walk to the Barraco Burro where there was live music and 60 peso beers all October. The joint was a little further walk, but also close by. The beach across the street was really nice. We got beautiful sunset pictures on that small beach that had two wooden swings. All the bedrooms were very nice. We hired a recommended chef one evening who cooked us mole and pork. Fun and delicious. There’s not many places that are this nice. Definitely get a golf cart because it’s helpful if you want to hit the supermarket or drive to Playa Norte.

This was our first time visiting Isla and we couldn’t have been happier! The house was everything that we wanted. The house was very nice and the pools were great! The location was also perfect. We enjoyed all of the restaurants and beach clubs that are walking distance or short golf cart ride. The only thing that wasn’t great was the golf cart rental company (Prisma). we had multiple groups rent from them and all encountered a really rude check in person. We recommend avoiding them if possible. Back to the rental home. from check in to check out everything was fantastic. would rent again in a heartbeat!

This house was perfect! We had 8 adults staying and never felt like we didnt have enough space. You can not beat the view from the infinity pool! It is amazing. The check in progress was easy, Jan was there when we got there and walked us through everything. There was not one thing wrong with this house. I had contact with the owner from booking all the way until we checked in, they were wonderful to work with. I would absolutely stay here again!

The house is beautiful, clean, comfortable and the views are spectacular. This is our third stay and we will be back.

We stayed at Casa Agave for 4 nights with 7 total guests, visiting Isla Mujeres to look for whale sharks. The whale sharks were shy, but Casa Agave was a wonderful home base from which to kick back and enjoy the island. The top level pool boasted incredible views - gorgeous blue water in both directions. The pool on the main level had a swim-up bar area and plenty of shade umbrellas to keep us pale people from burning in the Mexico sun. We rented 2 golf carts, which was great to get us around sight-seeing, and we would recommend renting one. But if you just want to eat, drink and relax, you won't necessarily need one. There are plenty of good restaurants and a lovely beach within easy walking distance. The owners of Casa Agave have thought of everything when it comes to amenities. Our party has stayed in many VRBO accommodations over many years and several countries, and we all agreed Casa Agave was the best equipped we have encountered, from WiFi to kitchen utensils and appliances, whimsical and very nice wall decorations. Everything seemed carefully chosen and the owners did not skimp on the quality of anything. Casa Agave is a beautiful home and we would highly recommend staying there when your travels take you to Isla Mujeres!

My husband and I rented Casa Agave for 5 nights. It is a big house for two people but we wanted to check it out in case we come back with family or friends. So glad we did, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We were there during a particularly rainy period, so we spent more time at the house then we may have otherwise. We spent a lot of time in both pools, even in the rain. We loved that there were Bluetooth speakers in the outdoor spaces, and we sat in the covered areas and relaxed, rain or shine. The kitchen had everything you could need, and plenty of dishes and silverware. Pool towels were provided, and plenty of bath towels as well. The house is on the south side of the island, away from the hustle and bustle, which is what we wanted. There still are bars and restaurants close by that we enjoyed and we did venture out further by golf cart. The nearby beach was great for a swim or snorkeling, but probably not great for young or older guests, because it is very steep and slippery if wet at all. I would highly recommend Casa Agave to anyone wanting a relaxing visit to Isla Mujeres!

From submitting the first payment months ago to leaving the gates to head home; everything was absolutely perfect! There was great communication and check-ins (from Mundaca rental agency, Jan/Concierge and owner Michele) from beginning to end to ensure our stay was nothing short then amazing. A binder FULL of information on the home and about the island is available in the home as well. We rented golf carts for 2 days upon arriving and our concierge had them delivered and then picked up 2 days later at no extra costs! We contacted Miguel for taxi services - who’s number is in binder. Miguel confirmed how many taxis were needed and they were there within minutes of hanging up with him. There are many beach clubs, restaurants/bars and some shopping within walking distance of the home.. I highly recommend getting food/drinks at Playa Lancheros. The pictures and description of this home is exactly as stated. Everything you need is there: extra pillows, linens, beach towels, paper products, drinking water, kitchen was fully equipped with anything you’d need including bags for grocery shopping and keep sakes of can coozies, drink cups, hand sanitizers, beer bottle openers, and cups. There are beach chairs, coolers and pool floats. The Bluetooth speaker system and color changing pool lights were a hit with our group! The owners have literally thought of EVERYTHING to make your stay at Casa Agave one that will leave a mark on your heart forever.

Property was exactly as listed. Host were in contact with us at all times when needed. Excellent check in when we arrived. Had food delivered from recommended restaurant and it was delicious. Just a great place to stay!

The house is well maintained and very clean. The location is perfect for great restaurants and activities within walking distance or a short golf cart drive. Juan Carlos greeted us at the house and made us feel very welcome. We didn’t have any issues, but we felt he would be able to handle anything we needed help with. There’s a very informative house book inside the property that contains tons of great information not only about the property, but also the island. Great house-highly recommend.

We had a group of 3 married couples that stayed at Casa Agave for 4 nights. Impressed is an understatement. The check in process was very easy. The house was immaculate and had everything we needed. The infinity pool on the roof was beautiful and the pool downstairs was just as nice. In addition to the house being perfect, we loved the location. It is on the south end of the island which is a quiet change of pace after visiting the beaches on Playa Norte during the day. It is just minutes from Punta Sur which is a must see and is also super close to a few bars, restaurants and beach clubs if you don’t want to travel all the way to the north end of the island. A concierge service is provided with the house and this made all the difference. Jan Carlos met us to walk through the house when we arrived, was available to answer any questions we had and visited at check out. They also stocked the kitchen with groceries before our arrival for a small fee. We searched vrbo for weeks before deciding on a house and are so thankful we chose Casa Agave. If you’re on the fence, don’t hesitate - book with Casa Agave. You won’t regret it!

Booked the house for our first time staying overnight on the Island for my Birthday. Invited my two sister and my parents. Myself, my husband and daughter had the best time at this house with our family. Perfect size, most comfortable beds, and beautiful property.

Our second time staying at Casa Agave and it was amazing 🤩 such a beautiful setting steps from a little locals beach. Well equipped with everything & more than we needed. Comfortable beds. Beautiful clean pool, well stocked kitchen, new refrigerator, beautiful decorated. We live the location on the south end. The most gorgeous sunsets from the top with a nice dipping pool. always a wonderful breeze. We had a party of 8 adults and it suited everyone’s needs perfectly. We felt honored to stay at such a lovely home

Pulling up to Casa Agave - the home was visually even more beautiful than in the pictures! The staff was so welcoming and attentive/responsive throughout our stay. The Villa was immaculately clean, very well thought out/designed. Perfect for a family vacation or a couples trip! Of course, the neighborhood rooster will wake you up very early- so bring ear plugs! Other than that, I couldn’t imagine staying anywhere else if we ever make it back to Isla!! 🇲🇽 P.S. if you’re already excited about the infinity pool - get ready for one of the best views on the island! Very close to Punta Sur and on the much quieter, more chill side of the island. Coffee Bus is also a great spot right around the corner!
