We rented this property in late July with friends and family. This was our second time to N Captiva, but first time at Triple Tales. It was wonderful! Sheila thought of everything you need to be comfortable and relax! From the furniture, to the games and kids drawing paper; she didn’t miss anything! The house was very clean and tastefully decorated. We most enjoyed the pool late in the afternoons and eating outside on the screened porch. Thank you! We will be back!

My family and friends had a great time.. House is new, very clean, and the decor is nice and beachy.. Pool is screened in and heated which is a huge plus. One of the few homes on the island with a canal and private dock. The owner Shelia was great and very responsive. The housekeeper Paula and her husband were great and went the extra mile for us.. Highly recommend if I can give it 6 stars I would.

Everything about our stay was perfect. The area was beautiful, communication with the property owners was excellent, Paula, the housekeeper, was more then helpful with any of our needs! Definitely will be booking again! Amazing family vacation!

Newer house, with a great screened in pool/rec area below. While we didn't have a boat to dock this year it would have been perfect for it with the dock right out back.

We stayed here with our adult son, his girlfriend and her parents. We have our own boat, so being on the canal was absolutely perfect! We love Captiva and have stayed on the island a couple times. Having our boat steps away from house was perfect. The beach was 2 minutes away which was great. Loved having 2 golf carts. We had the best of both worlds with beach being close, and being in canal. The owner answered any questions we had and Paula, the housekeeper, was the BEST!! The screened in pool area was amazing for relaxing and playing games. We love this house and will definitely be staying again.

Peaceful stay with adventures on the water and islands surrounding North captiva. Morning sunrise and evening sunset were breathtaking to watch as most guests venture to see them. Beaches seem endless with shells everywhere. We hope to make this a reoccurring family vacation in the future.

Triple Tails is as advertised. We have been coming to North Captiva for many years and stayed in many beautiful homes. This house was bye far the best equipped and best maintained rental we have stayed in. The down stairs screened in pool area is top notch with many games for adults as well as children. The upstairs screened in porch gave us great sunrise views of the preserve. The entire home was very clean and well furnished. The only issue we had on our stay was with the wifi for less than a day. Paula and the owners dealt with it correctly. We had a great time and would recommend this rental to anyone.

Exactly what we hoped for!

We loved our stay at Triple Tales! This was our second trip to the island. North Captiva feels like a hidden gem, and Triple Tales is a great house on the island. The house is new, clean, and very tastefully decorated. Each bedroom is equally spacious with its own TV and bathroom, which made life very easy as there was no fighting over who got the “good room” :) They were all great! Paula and Sheila were both friendly and responsive, and I appreciate their efforts to make sure we had a good stay. A short but not complete list of things we loved about the house were the dock, the screened-in heated pool, the unobstructed view of the preserve from the upper deck, the two golf carts, the plethora of toys, games, and beach supplies, and the location. We will miss North Captiva and would definitely stay at Triple Tales again.

This was our 4th trip to the island and was hands down the best house. Location is great. The house backs up on the mangroves so it's more private than most and the dock allowed us to fish right there if we wanted (vs going to the beach). The house has everything we'd want... 2 golf carts, pool that is screened in, great deck for hanging out, TVs in every room, games, etc. Better wifi and TVs than other places we've stayed. Paula (property manager) was incredibly helpful as well. We even booked a sightseeing tour with her husband, Captain Richie (recommend!). Only (minor) issue was the smoke alarms seemed very sensitive (when we opened the oven, they would go off - no smoke). Overall though, best stay yet. Loved it so much we already booked for Spring Break 2023!

We loved our stay at Triple Tales! The house is set up perfect, kitchen has everything you need, the pool was warm, clean, and tons of toys. Beautiful beaches only a quick golf cart ride away. The kids loved fishing in the canal. North Captiva is a wonderful island! We can't wait to come back!

Such a beautiful place, exactly as described online. The canal in the back was a pretty great bonus as well! Communication between owner and property manager was right on point.

Very clean and well appointed

We had a fantastic time at Triple Tales! We had 4 couples, so the fact that we each had our own bedroom with an ensuite bathroom was a huge plus. Since it was a bit chilly the first few days we were there, the heated pool felt great! The screened in deck off the kitchen and around the pool were very nice to have. With 8 adults, we were also very happy having 2 golf carts at our disposal. The house was very clean and Paula and Sheila were very helpful answering any questions we had. We would definately rent this property again!

Triple Tales is exactly as depicted in the pictures. The home is very thoughtfully supplied for a comfortable stay. The property managers are extremely responsive and helpful. The owner was gracious and supplied very good information for our stay. We would definitely stay again!

It was wonderful…quite chilly first several days BUT warmed up nicely…blue sky, blue water & lots of sunshine!! First time Ben, Craig & Susan…the 3 siblings, Susie & Russ the 2 spouses have vacationed together in MANY years!! Lots of fun family time, fishing w/Capt Richie, Paula just a phone call away, handled all of our requests…one of the favorite things was sightseeing, lunch at Cabbage Key & shelling on Sanibel…. Plenty of room to spread out!! A memorable trip for SURE!!

We had the best time. Triple Tails was perfect for our expanding family. My husband and I had a beautiful master suite. My daughter, son-in-law, and granddaughter had a beautiful and spacious room. And our college student son had excellent accommodations. We really enjoyed the screened in downstairs and pool. Golf carts were the best we have had in 5 years. We loved every part of the house. We will be back!

My family had a wonderful time here! House was perfect, communication was excellent, and the island is amazing. We rented a boat from Cape Coral and brought our luggage and groceries. Docking is easy. Pool was warm and we swam every day. Two golf carts made travel around the island a breeze. Kitchen and rooms were all well appointed and beautiful. Coffee on the deck is so peaceful and the beaches are pristine. SO many shells and so much wildlife. Would go back again!

This rental was absolutely amazing! Location was perfect, having the dock was a HUGE plus. Super clean, had everything we needed and more. We will be booking again in the future!!

We loved North Captiva Island!

There are not enough stars to describe how satisfied we were with this home. We have stayed on the island several times and I can say this has been the best all-around home, hands down. Triple Tales is maintained impeccably. Every inch of the property seemed prepared for our arrival. Sheila was always responsive leading up to our arrival and Paula handled every detail with the attitude of making our visit memorable. Both indoor and outdoor gathering areas are thoughtfully appointed to maximize gathering with family/friends. The boat dock provided easy access as well as awesome views of manatees! Both golf carts were easily accessible and worked flawlessly...which is not always the case with island rentals. Finally, having your own pool, inside the screened-in lower level was even better than we had hoped; serving as a regrouping point after event filled days. We were so pleased with our stay and the home, the location and the island is second to none...it was truly hard to leave!!

House was perfect. Very clean and just as described. Great layout and well supplied, including a good selection of games for the unfortunate day stuck inside due to rain.

This was our 8th trip to North Captiva Island and we've stayed at many different properties. This is a brand new house on the canal and every detail was carefully thought out and executed. The layout is perfect with 4 bedrooms and four ensuite bathrooms, a rarity for island homes. If I was to build a house on this island, which I've thought about doing many times, this is the house I would build. The scene in outdoor living space is perfect and even though it's on the canal, it's not buggy because it's screened in. Every last detail for a carefree stay has been thought of. We usually rent in this area on one of the Shell Drives and this house is a welcome addition to the island. We are avid boaters up north so having a dock afforded us the opportunity to rent a boat and keep it right at our private dock. That was incredibly convenient. Sheila, the owner was very easy to communicate with as was Paula, the property manager. Both were very professional and great to work with. All in all, a great week at a gorgeous new home in a great location. We will definitely be back.

We had the best experience at Triple Tales! The owner is committed to making guests’ stay trouble-free and memorable. Communication with her and with the property manager was quick and helpful. Beds were very comfortable, bathrooms for every bedroom perfect for adult children and their families. Being on the canal was a bonus as we rented a boat for a few days and could dock right at our house! Loved the seclusion and the screened pool/patio/game area. We were considering another house but could not have been happier with our decision to go with Triple Tales.

This was our second time to North Captiva. We brought our 3 adult children (and daughter in law) this time- the house was perfect! It was nice that everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom. The house was beautiful, very clean and had plenty of room. The pool area was our favorite hang out location. Communication with everyone was excellent before and during our stay (Paula was amazing!) We highly recommend North Captiva and this property!

The house worked great for our family and the pool area was nice with plenty to entertain our family. The house would be perfect if you rent a boat.

This house is amazing! We had 2 families for a 1-week stay (4 adults, 4 kids) and the bedroom and bathroom setup was perfect with each bedroom having a bathroom. Having a clean place was a top priority for us and this place was spotless! The bathrooms, bedrooms, and floors were super clean and we felt very comfortable in the house. Everything is maintained very well and mostly new. We used the screened area under the house a lot of the time, playing ping-pong, darts, and swimming in the pool. The house golf carts were nice and met our needs with 8 people and beach gear back and forth. The chairs provided and coolers were perfect for the beach, along with a small shade tent, and sand toys for the kids. There wasn’t anything that we needed except sunscreen and a bag of ice. (The refrigerator makes good ice, but not enough to fill a cooler and have some for drinks :) The beach area is amazing for finding shells, we spent a lot of time walking and looking for shells. It was so peaceful on the beach and nothing like other places we’ve visited on the gulf coast. We also saw dolphins down by the airstrip and manatee near the dock down there too. We did have a small issue with the grocery delivery, but it was fixed ASAP by Paula (and was a Publix issue). The grocery logistics were a big concern for us going in with a couple of teen boys we weren’t sure how we would plan for the whole week, but everything was fine and we had plenty of food. The owner was also very helpful with all my questions to be sure we had everything for the week. We didn’t get to eat at the restaurants, but the pool bar, Mango’s does have very good wings and a good burger. :) We mostly made meals at the house and used the grill and kitchen and everything was perfect. What a wonderful week of vacation, we were all sad to leave and hope to be back soon!

Property was perfect for two families. Being on the canal was a huge plus, since we brought our own boats. The island and the surrounding area were amazing for boating, beaching and fishing. Kids and adults all had a terrific time. Thank you!

Everything was great! Stepping off ferry and having gulf cart waiting. All luggage, groceries... were delivered shortly after. Loved the heated pool/screen area. Kitchen well stocked . Paula our contact visited and was very helpful . Gulf carts were great. Lots of nice walking trails in state park area.

House met all our needs. Timely communication from owner. Tim came over and talked to my husband about the boat, beaches to visit and some fishing tips. We LOVED having access to the boat. We were able to see manatees, dolphins and visited various beaches that we couldn’t otherwise (picnic island) Kids swam in the pool. Morning coffee on the back patio. Great house!
