What a lovely property at gorgeous Tybee Island! The host is responsive and laid-back, which is awesome! The house is way bigger than it looks and in such a perfect area of Tybee! We really appreciated the use of the golf cart! I can’t say enough nice things about this property, our trip to Tybee and our host. You won’t regret staying here!

Great property with very close proximity to restaurants, the beach, and a market. It was very clean. The kids had a wonderful time riding on the golf cart and playing the PacMan machine. Personally, I loved the large Master Bathroom! The beds were super comfortable, too! I would stay here again for sure!!!

Beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood. Perfect for a family getaway. We loved the location, proximity to the beach and restaurants, and the peaceful surroundings. Great size for our family of 5 and the fenced backyard was wonderful for our dog.

Our trip to Tybee was a little cooler than we had hoped for, so this home was perfect as we spent quite a bit of our time lazing around, playing Ms Pac Man and all the other old-time games provided. Especially fun was the golf cart. The entry key pad was also very much appreciated. Easy to open, easy to lock. We hope our next trip will be warmer so we can enjoy the walking distance to the beach, we certainly will book this place again!!

It is a great location. We enjoyed Friday night bingo at the American Legion. Savannah was a short trip away. Island had lots os quaint restaurants to eat at that weren’t chain stores.

Clean and comfortable - we had a wonderful getaway at Down on the Corner. The roomy house had every amenity to make us feel welcome and at ease. The included golf cart made local sightseeing fun for us and our Mini Aussie. Very much appreciate and recommend this property! Many Thanks to our Hosts.

This place is so charming! We brought our kids and dog; wonderful location and so comfortable. Incredibly clean! All you could ask for to have fun with the family on vacation. Love the fenced in back area. The golf cart was fun to cruise around in and go to the park. Highly recommend!!

We had to take a last minute family trip to Tybee and wow did we get lucky with this place! The house was beautiful, very clean and in a great location. The house was family/kid friendly and having the golf cart was a blast to take the kids down the street to the beach. The fire pit in the back was the best spot to hang at the end of the day when it was cold out and we couldn't have felt more at home. Matt was great and responded right away if we had any questions, and the house had everything we needed. We’ll definitely be back!

This house is great. Very, very clean for allowing pets (yes we brought our dog)! Updated throughout. Good location. Golf cart was super for getting to all the hot spots. Matt was great to work with. Will be booking for next year.

The best part of staying at this home was the short walking distance to the beach. We spent a fair amount of time just relaxing at the beach area as it was quiet and the weather was perfect. The home was very clean and suited us for our needs.

My husband and I had all our children, spouses, and two grandson's for a end of summer vacation. The house, amenities, and neighborhood was perfect for our family.

The property was exactly as advertised with an abundance of parking. Easy and efficient communication with the property manager and a great fire pit as well. The walk to the beach was the perfect length and the sunrise was spectacular!

Matt was an excellent host. We loved our stay on Tybee. The house was great for our group. The location was nice, we enjoyed cruising the island on bikes and a golf cart. Would highly recommend.

This rental home was very nice and was in a great location. It had a good amount of space and was able to accommodate my family well. The only minor issue is that air mattresses are listed and provided but the air pumps did not have batteries/ did not work. Fortunately, we were able to still make adequate sleeping arrangements without the air mattresses as previously intended. I would highly recommend this rental home and would definitely stay again if visiting Tybee Island in the future.

We had a wonderful time and Matt went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. He is the best host anyone could ever ask for. He answered all our questions in a timely matter and we loved our welcoming when we walked into the beautiful house! The weather was great and we had EVERYTHING we needed right at our fingertips. My friends were impressed and we all want to come back again and stay at "Matt's Beach House." Thank you Matt for a wonderful week away from teaching. I needed a refreshing break. All the "Red Hat Ladies" are telling their friends about the great times and memories we made "Down on the Corner." PS Huck-A-Poos was a hit! -Thanks, Matt!! (Our dollar is by the guitar!)

We had a very enjoyable stay! The second we walked in we noticed how very inviting and clean it was. We were happy that we were able to bring our two little pugs with us. It was a very short distance to everything that we could ever have wanted. We had a nice long walks on the beach in the morning often had breakfast at one of the local eateries. We were able to enjoy restaurant week while we were there, which was a plus since we missed ours. the fenced in backyard was a plus since we had dogs that we could let run the yard. Kitchen was stocked with everything that we could need. Look forward to going back again very soon.

My stay was great! The house was very clean, comfortable and had everything I needed for my two week stay. The hosts were very quick to respond to any messages. It was a short walk to the beach and they have everything you would need - beach chairs, wagon, & coolers to enjoy the beach. I also really enjoyed having the bikes available for an afternoon ride to watch the sunset and the fire pit made for a relaxing evening. The internet was also super reliable for keeping up with work. I will definitely keep this on my places to visit again! Thanks for sharing your beach home!

Easy check in and out. Lots of games and such for our Granddaughter to stay occupied between activities. Conveniently located near the beach, restaurants and stores.

If you are looking for a place with all conveniences of home but steps from the beach, look no further. I highly recommend this property. It had everything we needed for an amazing Thanksgiving with our family. The beach house was very clean and had lots of dishes and bakeware. We cooked all meals including the turkey. There were tons of entertainment for the entire family. We watched football, played games, put together a 500-piece puzzle and made smores around the fire pit. It was my first-time staying on Tybee Island. For sure a fan of Tybee Time! Highly recommend visiting The Lighthouse as well as biking the island. We enjoyed the Holiday Market while in town with tons of local vendors & festivities. We hope to come back when the weather and water is warmer! Thanks so much Matt for being a great host and being very responsive to my many questions. A big THANK YOU for finding our baby girl's lovey (puppy) she left behind and shipping it back to us! Down on the Corner is a great house with thoughtful amenities and it's in a perfect location. Everyone was comfortable in our group of eight - even our puppies. Matt is a responsive and friendly host - there really could not be a better place to stay in Tybee, especially for the price.

The house was exactly as described so clean! The boys loved being so close to the beach and the park! My oldest 11 rode the bike every night! We played with the logs they had! Loved making s’mores every night. Matt was the best he answered all my questions so quickly! We had two kids aged 7 and 11 and three Adults and this was the best vacation. Can’t recommend this property enough!

Very pleased.

We had a good time. Loved the fact that there were no stairs to carry luggage up. Walk to the beach isnt bad. The beach itself was great, walked the pier and got to see a shark in a swarm of fish. Had a total of 8 kids with me. They enjoyed the kids table with toys, coloring books and also play Mrs. Pac Man. There was plenty of room to sleep with the queen size bed, the pull out sofa, futon, bunk beds and couch.

It was a great stay for us! The island is small, this property is in the middle of the main road; so 1 mile to the pier to on direction; one Mike other direction takes you to the North beach! 6th street all way down (5-7 min walk) takes you to 6th street beach access! Easy & simple!

This property was exactly what they said it would be! Perfect location just a short drive or easy walk to the beach. The golf cart was super helpful. The house has everything we needed and Matt was super accommodating and helpful!

Matt was very helpful from the time I booked this home until the time we checked out. The house was EXACTLY like the pictures and as they said it would be. Checking in was easy peasy, over all I give it a 5 star. Will definitely book again!!

We loved our stay at Matt’s place. It was the perfect size for the six adults and two kids that went. Walking distance to the park and beach was so great with the kids! We lucked out on beautiful weather! The house was beautiful and the beach decor & outside fire pit area really made us feel like we were on vacation even just when relaxing at the house. Matt was very prompt when I reached out. We would stay here again.

This place felt like home and it was sad to have to leave. The Island was quiet and the neighborhood friendly! It was such a pleasure!
