Very nice place

The cottage was an easy walk to Main Street for shopping and restaurants. It was a quiet location that was great for a relaxing vacation.

Walking distance to downtown yet secluded and private. Will stay here again the next time we are in town. Clean and comfortable accommodations.

We enjoyed our stay at the Firefly Guesthouse. It was quiet and yet within walking distance of the downtown district. The coffee was great and appreciated. We don't particularly like Roku television, but it worked okay. More lighting in the kitchen and living area is needed. We had trouble reading at night.

Although the cottage was cute, it's a little tired. The bed and bedding could be improved upon. Perhaps a well placed lamp in the living room for reading. I enjoyed the back porch. Maybe when the leaves of the trees sprout, the view of the apartment building and parking lot would not be so obvious.

The Firefly Guesthouse is one we will keep on our list for our next visit to Fredericksburg. The bed was comfy, the kitchen had all we needed for our stay, the fireplace was a perfect touch and the bathroom with its tub and roomy shower were large. The best part was sitting on the back porch, drinking hot chocolate and watching for deer leaping across the grassy knoll between the cabin and the creek. The house is off Main Street which is within walking distance for walkers. Older people might drive and park closer to the square if wanting to shop. WARNING: The only negative was that the steps to the front porch and back porch were VERY steep and hard to maneuver down. It would be perfect for older people if there were a rail on each set of steps. Thus the rating of 4. It would have been a 5 if the steps were easily accessible.

My husband and I spent a quick overnight trip in Fredericksburg. The Firefly Guesthouse had a great location for walking to the main strip and was cozy for a couple. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend!

Great place in a great location.

Loved our stay! It was a comfortable distance from Main Street to enjoy the quiet but also still be close enough to walk to everything on main. House was very clean along with a very comfy bed. My only downside to the property was that the listing pictures portrayed a more remote location while in person you have a motel 50yards off the back porch. But I would definitely stay here again in the future.

The Firefly Guesthouse was ideal for our getaway. It was cold and rainy, but the fireplace added to the charm and relaxation we were wanting. The location is ideal with a short walk to Main Street. Park the car and walk to your hearts content! We even saw deer behind the guesthouse. Fun!

We have enjoyed staying at the Firefly Guesthouse. This is our second stay at the Firefly this year and we will be returning. We have definitely found our spot in Fredericksburg to say. We love the cabin feel and the lovely back porch to sit on and enjoy the flow of the creek and the deer grazing. The cabin is perfectly equipped.

Great little house right off the Main Street. Truly enjoyed it. Even had coffee with dear in the back yard. (Think they planted them, LOL). Make sure and and stop by Chases Place. Great food.

An excellent weekend getaway for us, largely thanks to a wonderful place to stay. Our only complaint was with the temperature of the water when drawing a bath. Looked forward to this feature in particular, but bath water was always cold even though no hot water was being used elsewhere.

We absolutely loved our time at the Firefly. The location was perfect, close to downtown in a quiet neighborhood. The Firefly was exactly as the pictures online showed. We LOVED this place and look forward to our next stay.

Very clean and relaxing. Perfect for weekend getaway

This was the perfect place to stay. I am so happy we chose this one as there are many to choose from. We walked to Main Street however you could not hear any noise while inside . . It was extremely clean. It has everything you need. It is do beautiful inside and so cozy. The only thing I did not like is the owner needs to get blinds you can close above the bed and one on the back door. The light in the morning woke us up. Not a hugh deal at all though. The price is a little steep do to all of the fees. We also walked to the BEST bakery ever Twisted Sister which is across the creek in the back yard. Omg!!! It is such a perfect bakery!!!!!!!!!!! IT HAS EVERYTHING YOU NEED FOR BREAKFAST AND EVERYTHING TASTE AMAZING.

Perfect place for a couple to spend some time. Really Close to Main Street without the heavy traffic. We truly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning in the winter.
