My husband and I did not have super fancy expectations and just expected clean, comfortable place to stay with basic accomidations.Upon arrival after a 12 hr. drive we found a filthy cabana with dry stool and mold in the toilet,hair in the sink,the stove with dryed food and grease ,dirty eating utensils ,our feet black from walking on floor...The cabana had not been cleaned. the bed linens appeared to be clean,I called vacasa and reported the issues and was told they would have someone there around 9am the next day,I took pictures and tryed to send to vacasa but did not go through, I cleaned the bathroom myself, we were exhausted from our drive,the next day nobody had cleaned after we had left to allow housekeeping to clean,I then contacted hatteras reality and spoke with manager about concerns and showed him pictures of findings and he did have the cabana cleaned and accommodated requests for new coffee maker ,toaster and an alarm clock as well.Getting fresh towls and washcloths was an issue but we received them with contacting vacasa who then notified housekeeping who called back and I was told of limitations on "terrys" with stay,the housekeeper did not know there was not a washer or dryer,soiled towls was left at lower landing prior to this call which was not picked up untill the request for more was made. The fresh towls was dropped off and the soiled finally picked by a vacasa/hatteras reality person,otherwise we would have had to drive about 1 mile away to pick them up ourselves. When the vacasa rep. brought the fresh towls,I showed him the saftey issues of rickety upper deck railings that was in much need to be replaced, cracked chairs on the upper deck,and other safety concerns.both of the reps. with hatteras reality was pleasent,respectful and appoligetic.

Location to beach was great. Love the decks and swing. Clean fresh towels and full equipped kitchen.

Refrigerator made a choking noise ever 20 mins. It was hard to sleep with the noise right by the bed. The refrigerator may need repair? Also disappointed no bath soap was available and we forgot to pack extra as we always do. Would be good to state in your listing it is a fully equipped kitchen.
