Our second year in Dora’s beautiful home in the heart of Kiama. Perfect days spent swimming in the continental pool, walking the dogs in the beach and eating The Pines gelato each afternoon. Highly recommended!

The thoughtfulness of the little things with this property, are what makes it such a joy. The area is a haven of beautiful views, great beaches and a town full of interesting shops.

I love going to Kiama and staying at Allwood Cottage. It is like a home away from home for me. The house is very comfortable and well appointed and so close to the shops / cafes in Kiama. Our check in process was easy and convenient. Highly recommended :)

The house is beautiful and spotless. Few minutes walk to main street in Kiama. Dora was fantastic to deal with and very accommodating.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Kiama is a lovely coastal town, and this cottage is in a great location just a few minutes walk from the town (with lots of great local shops and cafes), and close to scenic landmarks such as the Kiama Lighthouse and Blowhole. The cottage is beautifully furnished in the coastal style, and is a tasteful mix of lovely original features and new comforts. The owner Dora was very helpful and prompt with communication, and provides lots of complimentary items such as shower products, a first aid kid, washing detergent, food basics etc, for use if required. She also left a handwritten note of welcome, which was a nice touch. The only factor that wasn’t full marks for us was that there is actually only one proper indoor bathroom. What is listed as a second bathroom is actually a toilet, sink and mirror in a (clean and tidy) laundry room located just outside the back door of the house. Whilst this would be fine for a small, single family unit, it’s not ideal for staying with extended adult family members as we did, where we were specifically wanting two completely seperate bathrooms. Otherwise, I would totally recommend this charming cottage, particularly for small families. It was very kid friendly (and actually set up really nicely for dogs too!).

We absolutely loved our time at Allwood Harbour Cottage- really well equipped, great location that’s an easy walk to beaches and the shops in town, and our dog LOVED the garden. Excellent communication with Dora was the icing on the cake. A magical break in every way- we’ll be back!

This was perfection start to finish. The cottage was tasteful and all our possible needs had been anticipated and catered for. The proximity to beaches, ocean pools and shops was more than we could hope for. We loved the garden and outdoor shower; reading all morning, chatting late into the evening under the summer night sky. A wonderful stay. We'll be back!

The most GORGEOUS cottage with easy walking distance to centre of town and beaches, LOVED it , so relaxing , everything you could ask for was supplied and more.

Renting the property was very easy, Dora an excellent host.

Allwood Cottage is lovely and decorated so thoughtfully with games for the family, surprises for our pooch and we enjoyed relaxing in the sunroom with views of the water. Allwood Cottage is located in walking distance from the village with an array of restaurants, cafes and beaches at our doorstep. Superb location! Thank you to Dora and Allwood Cottage for making our Easter Holiday break so special.

This is a beautiful dog- friendly cottage within walking distance to shops, restaurants and the beach. It has everything you need for a relaxing weekend. It is well maintained and nicely decorated.

A great location for a week in Kiama, close to the cafes, beach baths and walking paths.

It was wonderful to stay in this heritage cottage. Beautifully appointed keeping its historic charm, you immediately relax. A very comfortable bed, with thoughtful touches of throws and extra pillows and cushions. Great shower pressure and a well stocked kitchen. The scenic view spread from water to mountains above the Kiama township. We will be back.

Beautiful little cottage. We all had a wonderful weekend away in your gorgeous cottage. Perfect walking distance to shops & water - we only used the car when we travelled far away. We walked to our dinner reservations etc The cottage has everything you need and more. Will definitely stay again. Thank you Dora.

Very quaint cottage with all the comforts of home and more. Loved so much about this place especially the attention to detail and as my brother said the photos on the listing do not do the cottage justice.

Great location, roll down the hill to Terralong Street.Far bigger inside cottage than appears in photos on website and has been recently removated as second bedroom more spacious for kids with bed set up.Have been coming to Kiama for years staying at various places pending time of year and price, but I definitely will try to get this house for our next xmas vacation pending on approval from Dora !

Immaculately clean, thoughtfully furnished and with many touches to make both people and pets feel at home. This cottage is much larger than it appears and has everything you need for a holiday - would thoroughly recommend it. And the hosts are very friendly and welcoming.
