We loved everything about the house. The dock was amazing and so convenient to have our boat docked there all week. The dock even has a plug in to charge boat batteries. It does require an extension cord, but not an issue. Cathy was so helpful and accommodating. She even offered to pick us up anything from her trip into town. We brought our 2 corgi's with us. The house is set up to be dog friendly. The deck has a gait, dog bowls are provided, and there is even a place to hang leases by the door. Location was great, very quiet and relaxing. Town is not too far away to get groceries. The house was super clean, well stocked, and had linens provided. The bed was super comfortable. The house was just a great place to stay and would highly recommend it. We loved our stay at the Octagon house and would stay there again!!!!!!!!

Nice relaxing property

Wonderful home! We have stayed here several times and love it. No issues and the property owner is great. Very helpful and responsive. She provided a larger crockpot, salt ( which I forgot) and even called to let us know about the local fireworks. House is well stocked and clean, no bugs. Will definitely stay again

Great place for a weekend getaway to the lake. Loved the house and boat dock.

My wife and I have stayed here 3 or 4 times. The house is always clean and supplied with all essential items. The bed is comfortable. The linens and towels always smell freshly washed when we arrive. The owner texts us and makes sure we have everything needed, and quickly responds to any questions we have. The area is quiet. The dock is excellent and covered so that we can dock our boat. This is our favorite place to stay when visiting Lake Hartwell. We will definitely be staying here again.

We have rented this home for 3 years!! It is a beautiful on the lake home with everything you need for your stay in a quiet neighborhood. Looking forward to many more trips to this home!!

The property was just as described on the VRBO Site. It was very clean and we had all the ammentities we needed. It was an awesome place to spend 9 days at. My wife and I brought our bass boat down and our black lab Miggy. The house was definetly set up to be dog freindly. The boat dock is covered and has power to the dock. The Host are awesome people. Cathy made sure we had everything we needed and communication was easy. We will be back. Oh, the fishing was good too.

I spent 2 weeks here while in town for work and couldn't be happier with my stay. The house was clean and well taken care of. The hosts are kind enough to provide food and water bowls for our dogs. The dock is great, and the power outlet at the dock is perfect for charging boat batteries. I left my boat in the water while ay work and had zero issues. There is plenty of parking for a truck and trailer in the driveway. I mean it when I say the hosts couldn't have been more accommodating. I will gladly come back next time I am in town.

Lots of character, spacious and comfortable. We never went out for meals. Kitchen was perfect. The deck and dock were especially nice. Never met nicer hosts. A prefect week after Christmas to relax.

We had a great time as always! This is our 3rd time staying here and the property is perfect. We bring our fishing boat and the covered dock with electric at the end of the dock is extremely convenient! The home itself is very comfortable and is equipped with just about anything you need. Cathy is a wonderful Host and makes you feel welcomed into her rental property. Did not disappoint! Will be back!

Perfect spot for a weekend retreat!

This is our second time staying at this wonderful property. The owners are extremely helpful. The property is extremely clean with little touch of details to make you feel at home. Airy feel to the rental. Nice clean dock and quiet & safe neighborhood. Highly recommend! Owner even went out her way to mail an item back to us that we left accidentally.

Was an easy check in. There is no live tv so I enjoyed that not my husband as much. Nice Dock that we spent lots of time on.

We loved this house, location and dock! For the older folks, it’s a bit of a hill to walk back to the house but not nearly as bad as some homes on Hartwell. The washer / dryer came in handy. There was even dog bowls for our pup. The tiki bar is nearby on water and the marina has gas for refuels. We definitely enjoyed this stay!

We brought 4 teenagers to this lake house. The extra space in the loft was an excellent indoor hangout for the teens. The covered dock was a luxury because it was for the guests to park their boats. The outdoor lighting leading down to the dock as well as the acces to electrical outlets at the dock came in handy for night fishing.

Spring break fishing trip for our 10 year old and he had a fabulous time! We caught more fish than we could keep track of. House is right on the lake with a couple restaurants close that you can get to by boat. House was clean with comfy beds, kitchen was well stocked and the laundry area was a plus… especially in April when you have to pack for warm and cooler weather. Very fun 10 days on the lake!
