Driving up to this picturesque cabin in the woods we knew we made the right choice in renting this home! Communication with Gary was top notch! The home was spacious and airy with lovely Adirondack themed decor. Gorgeous views from every window! It had superb mattresses, pillows, linens and blankets!!! All light switches labeled-AMAZING! Heated garage with Bootwarmers-Need I say more!!!!! Overall we were THRILLED there were a few things that would have made it a five star stay… Very clean both inside and out but the washing machine had mold in the door and the detergent dispenser. Probably a result of people leaving the door closed (front loader machines need to remain open and be cleaned quite frequently). As a result our clothes smelled a bit moldy but we just rewashed when we got home. Kitchen was very well stocked except was missing sponges, dish towels, and measuring spoons. Also just one roll of paper towels. The bathrooms were super clean and spacious with TONS of linens, however only one extra roll of toilet paper. Incredible fireplace but no firewood. We bought all the missing items at Hannaford-NO BIG! One other suggestion that would make it top notch is to add a few hooks or a coat rack outside near the hot tub for towels. None of these cons are a reason not to rent this place. IT IS AWESOME and we cannot wait to go back. I just thought I would mention because they are super easy fixes that would make this a 5-Star review for sure!

Perfect house and location for 3 families to enjoy skiing at Whiteface and activities in the Adirondacks. The house is spacious, clean and full of amenities. Great communication with the host. Will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful all around, no complaints, great fireplace and spacious rooms. Great for 3-4 families who want to have a nice relaxing time in the woods. The service makes this cottage stand apart from other rentals.

We had a wonderful stay in Wilmington! We were looking for a spot tucked in the woods, away from town and this was perfect. We had a few issues once there but the maintenance team was there in minutes when we needed them. Overall, a beautiful spot that we will certainly revisit!

Beautiful property with a lot to offer with an accommodating and responsive property owner. We came here to celebrate our upcoming wedding with our friends and this place gave us exactly what we are looking for. This place has multiple large tables for group meals and an excellent fire pit and hot tub. I would definitely check this place out again on our next trip to the area.

The house is very spacious and tucked away in the woods. Surrounded by trout streams for fishing. Near Whiteface mountain. Short ride to Lake Placid.

What an amazing experience it was staying at Pine ridge with family and friends. The house had everything you needed and more to keep everyone comfortable and entertained. Beautiful scenery around the entire area with countless outdoor activities to enjoy with everyone. We all enjoyed every moment we were there and will definitely book again if the owner will have us back.

A group of 12 stayed comfortably. Three families with enough space. Kids enjoyed the basement with games. The rental is just as listed and one of the nicest we've found. Communication with owner was great. Easy to travel to Lake Placid but try to do it all in one day. It's very crowded and you need to pay to park. Wilmington and getting to lifts early is important. Two minute drive & I walked there once.

We had 3 families stay at this absolutely beautiful cabin and we had plenty of space, the use of the great screened in sunroom, the fire pit, hot tub and huge log kitchen table! It was quiet and comfortable and so close to all of the local attractions we wanted to see. Gary responded to the couple of questions we had within minutes and was very helpful. We would highly recommend this rental if you have a large family, (we comfortably slept 11 but there’s plenty of room for more people!) love the outdoors and just want to get away. It’s located within minutes of High Falls Gorge and Flume Falls and within a half an hour to White Face Mountain and downtown Lake Placid. We would most definitely stay again if we ever get the chance to visit this little piece of heaven in upstate New York. Thanks Gary!

This was a beautiful property that accommodate our family of 17 with children from 6 to 18 and we played games, had a fire, cooked dinner watched movies and just enjoyed each other. Thank you !

Arrived at the house and it was very secluded, to access the house was very easy and fast. Walked into a very clean and modern house. Plenty of room and beds for everyone. Basement has a pool table and ping pong so would never get bored. Hot tub outside was very big and after enjoying that you can walk down to the fire pit to relax. Overall I am very happy with the house

We spent three nights at the house, - eight adults, two children and one infant. House was equipped with everything we needed until the last detail.

Fit out large group comfortably with no shortage of things to do. Proximity to the mountain exceeded expectations, you just sort of look up and drive towards it.

Gary was so responsive and answered any questions right away. The home is comfortable and hs everything you need and more. We just found our yearly rental!

Great home for groups! Lots to do and see in Lake Placid. Loved having the outdoor fire pit and indoor rec room!

We prefer staying in Wilmington which is close to Whiteface Mountain and short drive to Mirror Lake. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need and we loved the giant dining room table which could easily seat 14 people. We appreciated that all the light switches were labeled and kitchen had staple items like flour, sugar, salt, olive oil etc. We stayed during the summer and we’re surprised there was no air conditioning. With the windows opened at night we were comfortable. We’ll definitely come back in the winter for a ski trip.

We loved everything about our stay here! The house was exactly what we wanted- large enough to house 3 families of 4 (5 oldest kids slept in basement BR, youngest in parent's room), and close to all of the things we wanted to do (Lake Placid/Mirror Lake, Ausable Chasm, Whiteface, to name a few!). We are already planning for next year!

This is not your typical home. The attention to detail is absolutely amazing. The kitchen has everything you need. We had a party of 10. Every couple had there own private space. During the day we took the River trail hike from the backyard to a beautiful waterfall and river that you can swim in. Lake Placid is a short drive with plenty of options for lunch or dinner. In the evening we enjoyed having dinner in the Florida room and marshmallows by the fire pit. Will definitely be back again.

What an amazing stay! The house is gorgeous and has plenty of you for everyone. It has everything a pool table ping pong table 3 bathrooms that are huge, and to top it off a hott tub! The fireplace is Perfect for a cozy night in. Close to lake placid for shopping and family fun. And right down the road from whiteface mountain. Very clean well maintained home. So glad we chose this house for our getaway. Definitely will be coming back soon
