I loved staying at this property. The place was very clean and close to the beach. I used the gas grill to make lunch and dinner. Everything I needed was provided.

The apartment was clean and quiet, the essentials were provided. The private beach is only steps away. We walked the beach every morning. We found so many shells and shark teeth and at the end of the day watched the sun set. Towels, chairs and an umbrella was provided which was so convenient. The town is not far with a couple of restaurants to choose from. We would definitely stay here again.

Our rental was perfect for us! It was clean and comfortable. Location was awesome … just a few steps to the gulf and close to restaurants. The lounge chairs provided were nice and much appreciated!

Property was as described. Just the kind of area we like. Quiet, away from all the tourist type things. Beautiful beach and area. Our flight was canceled. After making other arrangements I let the contact know it was going to be after midnight when we arrived. They offered to go turn on lights for us. 🙂

We had all of our children joining us at our condo on Manasota Key and needed a place for the overflow. Island House was super close and just right. Everything was as advertised and we enjoyed a great time together. Great location on the island!

I hate to give this a three-star rating because much of the stay was better than that (see my rating specifics), but I was looking for a place to stay that had a hot tub and this place did not, even though hot tub was the first item listed on both the “Amenities” and “Popular Amenities” lists in the location’s description. I reached out to the owner, and the owner told me that a hot tub wasn’t advertised for this property. I sent screen shots of the listing claiming to have a hot tub and had no further response from the owner. That, I think, was the worst part of the whole issue. Maybe an apology/acknowledgement would have been appropriate for the situation. I’m a pretty understanding person, and I can see how a listing could have an error. I would like to add, in all fairness, that in all other communication the owner was very attentive and quick to respond. Maybe the listing has been corrected by now—I do hope that is the case. If not, be aware that this location does not have a hot tub (as of January 2024). The house was well furnished, the kitchen well equipped. There were plenty of towels, washcloths, etc. We never did find the umbrellas advertised. The bathroom hot water was never hot—warm-ish at best. Kitchen water very hot. I would like to note that the beach is very quiet and not very busy—this is exactly what my daughter and I were seeking. If you’re looking for peace and serenity, I would recommend this place.

We stayed here for one night at the beach. Easy check in. Host communicated well. Place was clean. Best part was it was right on the beach. We would love to come back for a longer stay.

We love staying here! The location is perfect and the view is amazing.

This is a super nice area. It was perfect for our stay. You can only see the ocean from a few windows as it is a side unit. There are chairs and an umbrella available for you to use which is wonderful!

We were so happy we found the Island House. It was right on the beach and just the perfect size for our family of 4. We will definitely recommend and stay here again.

I’ve stayed several times and always satisfied! This trip was made even better because we met some really great folks who were also staying at the island house. Looking fwd to my next stay over the new years holiday!

We decided to stay local. The beach was steps from the door, Property was neat and clean, And owner communication was excellent.

The island house is a hidden gem! Not only is there beach access, but the food and people were great! We will definitely be back!

We had an amazing time! And.. there was a special birthday surprise when I arrived- a delicious key lime pie and special birthday wishes in a card. Personalized touch that made my day much more special!

Great small Apartment for the family and convenient just walking distance to the sand and ocean. We will come back. The kitchen has the basic necessary appliances to prepare quick meals like breakfast and snacks. It was perfect!

We enjoyed our stay at Island House. Everything is as described. The beach is lovely…no crowds and it was during spring break. The only thing we wished we could have had was another shower, but of course we knew that prior to booking. Within walking distance to some great restaurants and all other amenities are within a 10 minute drive. Thank you for prompt replies and for keeping the property so clean!

This is an excellent property. SUPER clean. Great location. Half mile walk to restaurants, steps from the beach. Very quiet neighborhood. Beach was never overcrowded and very open. Huge parking area. Beach towels, umbrella and chairs provided. Ceiling fans in every room. Extra personal fan, which we liked for white noise. King bed is soft. Bedrooms had plenty of closet space, and dresser space, so you don't have to live out of your suitcase. We had a great stay.

My kids and I had the best time visiting Island House. The location right on the beach could not have been more perfect! We will definitely be back.

Everything was very nice and clean. We did notice that keeping the a/c at 75 was not ideal. It would get very humid and warm during the day and not comfortable at night for sleeping. Great location and beach was beautiful!

Perfect location

Small building with six (I think) efficiency apartments situated on the sand of a beautiful un-crowded beach. The apartments aren’t fancy but simple and recently renovated. Apartments are spotless and well appointed with everything needed for a pleasant stay. We’ll be back without question.

The only issue that we had was that the water in the bathroom sink didn't drain well. Otherwise we liked it. No frills but it had everything you'd need!

This complex is literally on the beach. Just as photos show! The unit was very clean. If you’re looking for a cozy “home away from home” experience, this is not your place. Very bare and stripped down rooms. Like a motel suite without the accommodations that come with a hotel. Sheets were extremely threadbare and plucked. Pillows felt like a sack of gym socks. Not a single cleaning product provided as a courtesy. Water pressure was non existent making it difficult if you’ve got children. Overall, we enjoyed it though because we spent more time on the beach than in the room. It’s great to open up your door and see the beach and hear the waves which is what we were looking for.

There was a parking pass missing so I was worried I'd get towed. Overall it was fine
