Great location and freebies!

Some traffic noise, but this was expected for a Saturday night in South Yarra

Love the location. Great part of Melbourne. Plus super well connected. The room was tiny but so comfortable and great value for money. I could’ve stayed with friends but god it is nice to have your own space

Location is perfect. Easy if you are solo and on public transport with tram outside. Love all the little thoughful extras.

Warm, friendly, knowledgeable staff, clean, great shower, appreciated the free mini bar.

Such a trendy, unique and overall fantastic hotel. The staff are amazing, the rooms super modern and clean, and it’s just funky throughout! Will stay here everytime I come to melb now. Thanks guys!

Friendly quick checkin, good location by shops, food and transport. In the TayTay spirit with a bracelet station and dress ups. Lolly bar by the lifts!

Button in shower didn’t work, couldn’t figure out room lights easily. Strange buzzing/motor noise on and off in room but we still slept.

Location and staff are both amazing. The staff navigate issues well with efficiency and professionalism. They shouldn’t have to.

Dust. Everywhere. According to staff it’s due to the air con. Mould and product build up in the shower where they haven’t mopped or wiped surfaces - it was thick. I had 2 different rooms due to cleanliness and noted the staff are constantly navigating complaints due to the poor operation of the hotel. A review of the cleaning contractor might benefit the hotel before they are visited by a health inspector. The rooms are small and don’t accommodate for more than a small bag to store. The shower and toilet has a glass wall providing little privacy. The automatic lights will trigger. The hotel is a 3 star at best.

Location and stylish retro feel. Lots of free perks is nice to have. The Backroom bar is groovy and great for a cocktail or two. Room has a nice groovy feel.

Our room faced Tookrak Road so we could hear a lot of road noise throughout the night. The room could of done with a more thorough cleaning and maintenance needs to improve. The duvet between the sheet bed covers didn't look very clean or fresh.

Unique, cool decor to keep things interesting. Beds were comfortable and the room fittings were all quite nice. As noted by other guests, rooms aren’t particularly spacious, but they’re well designed. Staff were friendly and the restaurant and bar in the hotel were good.

Communication via Booking.com was nonexistent, with multiple messages being left unanswered. This ultimately wasn’t a big issue since I ended up calling reception instead, but worth noting. Bizarrely, a customer service chat with Booking.com regarding this booking also went unanswered.

Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Rooms are nice and new / modern, with a free minibar and snacks in the lobby which was a nice touch.

This hotel was modern but with charm, it was just perfect, done to all the little details that they had to offer from lollie station at the lift to the little goodie bag in the room.

As this is my 2nd time I could not wait to return. The staff was even more friendlier as I am returningcustomer.

The cleaners was not making sure that I had private personal items susch toilet paper, tissue. Pretty bad when you only have 1 roll for 4 days, especialy when they tidy the room everyday, which was good

Rooms are very small

Great location, super close to train and tram options, as well as lots of shopping and great cafes and restaurants all within walking distance. It was our first time in Melbourne and found the location to be good. Fun hotel rooms which were nice and comfortable and quiet. Lots of fun little touches and nice and colourful without being overwhelming. Loved the minibar, lollies, and goodie bags! The black out blind also did a great job!

Mostly clean but our room was quite dusty - could see a layer of dust on the windows and wall behind the bed. The bottom sheet appeared too small for the bed and came off easily every night which was a bit annoying.

Hidden little GEM this hotel was!

Lack of close carpark but that’s the only thing I could fault.
