Very well located to the castle and town, little need to use the car. Nice spacious accommodation with a well equipped kitchen. The hosts were amazing, and they went above and beyond to help us on a Sunday night after we locked ourselves out.

There's not much to dislike.

The host left a bottle of wine and a chocolate as a welcome present (much appreciated). it was one block away from the Main Street and very close from the castle. I really hope we can return some day, we had a wonderful time and this house is perfect.

It was in a nice Neighbourhood and was perfect for us three Moms with the three bedrooms and living space. The only thing I might say and it’s picky, is that out of country peeps don’t know about the red dot and the iplayer so maybe more in depth instructions for using that.

great location for a couple of nights whilst visiting the Commonwealth Games. The house was equipped with all the basics and made a good affordable alternative to a hotel.

Master bed mattress wasn’t very comfy and the lounge seating wasn’t really enough for 2 adults and 2 large teenagers

Castle Gate had a relaxed feel and was in very good order. The TV had Netflix available as well as sky. Sofa, chairs and beds were all very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped with all appliances in good order and plenty of storage space in the kitchen cupboards. Being able to park so close on a drive directly in front of the house meant the distance to carry bags was very short.

The garden needed a bit of TLC as the grass was quite long and some of the shrubs could have done with a trim. We found it difficult to control the heating but eventually worked it out. The house was pretty clean and the only down side was that the bathroom sink waste had quite a lot of hair stuck in it.

Well appointed house in an excellent location for visiting Warwick, the Castle and especially the racecourse as we did. Just a 5 minute walk away.

This was a second stay for me, so obviously I like the place! Quiet but central location with parking, functional modern house with plenty of space , comfortable and clean. Very happy there.

The lighting levels downstairs were poor, especially for a winter visit. James very kindly fitted some brighter bulbs for us, which provided a more normal level, but a couple of reading lights and repositioning of the kitchen spots would be good. Instruction manuals would also be helpful - the QR code material wasn't quite enough.

The location was 11 minutes walk to the Warwick Castle. It is in a quiet close but the walk to castle is along busier roads. The property was convenient for ordering takeaway food. The property sounds historic but is simply a normal modern home but with upstairs and downstairs toilet and nice kitchen. The hosts took extra care to leave wine and chocolate which was lovely. T.V great. Relaxing stay overall.

No visitor information folder/ guest book to leave comments and read other guests tips. Reed diffuser made property smell funny to us on arrival (not used to artificial fragrance at home). There were lots and lots of faux plants/cacti but may a couple of real ones would be nice (maybe not practical for rental though?)

Great location. Very cosy in Autumn.

Very comfortable, convenient, and in a location which was both close to the town centre and very quiet and pleasant. Parking was also easy. Just what we were looking for.

Small things really. The room lighting was quite dim and there were no reading lights. Some better user instructions for some of the appliances would have been helpful. And it was quite expensive for 4 nights.
