Exceptional hotel, backed by wonderful staff. No area's to question, half board so got to enjoy the buffet dinner too - lovely. Pool bar served lovely cocktails and splendid food. Will return :-)

The music in the morning at the behaven pool

Me and my fíance loved our stay at Barceló La Nucia Hills. Our room was the Deluxe room with a view to the south so we had the sun almost to 19:00 during the day. What really stood out was the staff, breakfast, dinner and cleanliness. Our bed was always made perfect each day! What really stood up above all was a guy named Victor or Viktor he worked in the reception. This guy gave us heads up on all the places to go, restaurants, etc. This guy should really get a big raise. He’s hardworking speaks fluent english and just really a nice charming guy. I would rate our stay a 9.5/10 It would be a straight 10 but the service in the pool ordering drinks was a bit bad otherwise everything was perfect imo.

I didn’t like the service at the bar in the pool area, both upstairs and downstairs. Ordered drinks atleast 5-6 times and just didn’t get my drink. Even though I was ordering of the Barceló app.

Place exceeded our expectations so we added an additional night. As for me, the best ad for a hotel. Most fantastic breakfast I have ever had and a lovely swimming pool you will spend all the time.

High price for Saturdays

Got full board but would rather have eaten out. Dinner was not nice at all, would never have paid for it if I knew in advance how bad it was. Breakfast was better. Outside terrace in room was covered in cigarette butts. Receptionist did ask if we want we wanted to change room but we declined as the rest of the room was clean. A cleaner was sent to the room to clean outside terrace. The infinity pool was closed The cocktails were 10euro each and were disgusting. The bar had no white rum.

Lovely spacious rooms with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious. Clearly newly built and staff were also lovely and helpful. Close to transport and a supermarket.

The area surrounding the hotel is pretty empty, it was fine for what we wanted in a holiday but is definitely more remote.

The hotel is nice and the spa is great. Service in the reception and spa was very good but not as good in the restaurant.

The buffet was bad. Breakfast not great and the restaurant was very noisy and lot of echo. The dinner was even worse. It was supposed to be a romantic dinner to celebrate wedding anniversary, but it was far from being like that. This could work for a 2 or 3 star hotel, but definitely not for 5 star.

Reception, facilities, room, food and value for money are all 10 points in our book!

The quality of everything was fantastic. Staff always happy and friendly. Drinks were reasonably priced. Everywhere was clean and well maintained. Food a good standard.

Evening meals served in bar, although I understand they were served there due to the hotel being quiet it was disappointing that we only ate in the restaurant once for dinner during our stay. Also was looking for to using the rooftop bar and pool but it was closed.

Breakfast was good

Check in is late in the day at 4pm , the use of spa facilities such as pool and sauna are charged at €20 pp, no staff on rooftop pool so unable to order a drink, the buffet meal we booked was cancelled and we were seated in the snack bar restaurant with a choice from a set menu with no vegetarian options, unable to see the TV from the bed in the room, cooking facilities in the room but no utensils, no drinking water provided in the room, no evening entertainment or bar to relax with a drink.

Everything was very satisfying and Lovely helpful staff , clean well looked after and half board was very good too .

The apartment was really well designed, with lots of space, very quiet and very comfortable. We slept very well. Spotlessly clean. Breakfast was very good and the buffet dinner was very nice. A week was probably enough, but the food was healthy and varied. Lovely staff who were genuinely friendly, smiley and good at their jobs. We didn’t really leave the hotel to explore the area because the point for us was relaxation, so I’m not sure what’s around, but there is a big supermarket and bus stops less than 5 mins walk away. We did go into Benidorm on the bus, but quickly returned.

Luxury hotel , Everything was perfect, room was really luxury, food, pool , service. I recommend this hotel.

The room with private garden was excellent quality and caught the sun for a significant part of the day. There were perfect locations to catch the sun scattered around the grounds. The food was a really good standard while the service of the staff was also great

Very clean , good food and excellent service!

Breakfast was amazing, the staff especially the reception staff and a special and massive thank you to the manager who was exceptional in dealing with our requests. The whole stay was beyond our expectations.

Unfortunately the half board main evening meal was not hot enough, although a good selection.
