This house was great for our large family. Plenty of space for everyone and the beds were really comfortable. We all enjoyed the game room. Also they were quick to get back to us with any questions we had. Great place to stay!

We really enjoyed Larry's Lodge. It was exactly as pictured. We had an issue with the air conditioning and it was addressed and repaired immediately. The owners were great to deal with the and the entire booking was very easy. We would certainly rent this house again.

I can’t begin to describe how beautiful this property is. Tucked away in the woods and located on a quiet street. Sitting on the back porch watching the deer and the baby gray fox just added to the peacefulness of this place. The host was amazing! I can’t say enough good things about this getaway. My only regret was that we couldn’t stay longer. It’s a little hidden gem that we were so fortunate to find. Looking forward to staying again next year!

My family from California, Florida and New Jersey used the graduation of my son from JMU to gather together and celebrate. The open concept of the house was perfect and the very large dining table was especially convenient for our meals and games. We also enjoyed the peacefulness of the screened-in backyard deck. The kitchen amenities were plentiful and we very much appreciated all of the thoughtful “starter” items throughout the house. We would definitely stay again!

It’s a well kept property with a great layout. The owners have thoughtfully provided everything. needed for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed our family time and the nice open kitchen/dining/living room area. I hope we can come back.

Very nice property with comfortable accommodations. Gameroom great to keep kids entertained. Well stocked kitchen and large dining table to easily seat 8 people. Hosts were very helpful and easy to reach. The only recommendation would be to make entry stairs safer by making each step equal in height.

We want to thank Jo for a wonderful week! Larry's Lodge was well stocked, clean, and close to all of the amenities on the mountain. We enjoyed the screened in porch and were delighted to find a family of deer grazing out back in the mornings! Check-in was quick and easy, the house was just as described, and Jo was a pleasure to rent with. We will definitely be back!

This house was amazing. The set up was great for two families. The game room occupied the kids and the adults enjoyed the peacefulness of watching deer in the woods from the screened in porch. Very clean and very comfortable. Communicating with the manager was effortless. Definitely recommend.

Celebrating our anniversary with our children and grandchildren was a great joy, and the house fit our needs. A few suggestions and comments - One propane tank is empty, and more importantly, when we first arrived and went out on deck, there was a strong propane odor. Upon inspection, the one tank was not turned completely off. Also, the window in the front bedroom was unlocked and shade was raised, when we arrived. Additional labels at the multiple light switches in living room and for that fan would help. We "gifted" the house with two plastic pitchers and some salt and pepper shakers. We had a great time and all did the zip line - even the celebrants! Thanks for a great home away from home. ps, my handyman hubby was concerned that the gutters were quite filled with leaves and could cause some leaking in heavy downfalls.

Absolutely loved the screened in deck

This house is just perfect for a large family, including one with kids or grandkids. It's close (you can walk) to lots of activities - mini golf, go carts, zip lining as well as some nice hiking trails. There's a lot to do within Massanutten, but you're also only 20 minutes from the Shenandoah National Park - where there are tons of trails to hike (for all ability levels) and thibgs to see. The house itself is well equipped and well maintained, and includes a game room with air hockey and fastball tables. Two family rooms with TVs means you don't have to fight with the kids over what to watch. It's in a quiet neighborhood, with plenty of privacy and space to enjoy. We particularly loved the screened-in porch, which had space for dining, reading and games, as well as a quiet morning coffee. I highly recommend Larry's Lodge for your Shenandoah vacation or getaway!!!

Wonderful home with everything you could need! Even plates and utensils for little kids. We lacked for nothing during our stay.

This house was perfect for our 9 friends. The screened in porch was so nice for morning coffee & cocktails. The number of beds was also perfect for our group. Kitchen had everything we needed. We hope to stay here again.

We are extremely pleased with this property. The overall layout was great for our large family and the location was perfect. After a long day on the slopes it was nice to relax on the screened in porch while the kids played in the game room.

House was perfect for our group of 12 with a mix of adults and kids! We were celebrating our 12 year old twins birthday with friends and family! There was Enough room upstairs for all of us to eat and hang out upstairs but also great space Downstairs for the kids to have their own space to hang out! The game room was a big hit with the kids! House had a well stocked kitchen and layout was GREAT for our group! Communication was easy and fast! We would definitely rent again!

This home was perfect for our large group. We had 3 families and the setup was perfect. 3 bedrooms upstairs and living area for the adults and the 2 bedrooms and living area plus game room was perfect for the kids! Home is in a great location to all of the activities in Massanutten.

We had a great time enjoying the atmosphere at the cabin. Plenty of room for everyone to both spread out to relax or come together for chatting, movies and games. The kitchen and dining area was great and could accommodate all of our cooking/eating/gaming needs. It is a wonderful place to come with your family or friends, and will be our first choice if we do something like this again! Thanks, Jo!

A great place to find some peace and relaxation.

Great layout on the first floor, with big master. Great room and large table so we could all sit together. Downstairs was perfect for my daughter and family with living room area to unwind before beds with their kids. Driveway is steep but we were able to fit 3 cars. Close to amenities. The biggest negative was the carpets were dirty and stained. Nice big screened in porch

Although we didn’t have time to stay longer, the property overall was spacious and view lovely. The only things I would do differently is to upgrade those hard mattresses, clean those toilets better and take the garbage out yourself as long as it’s all contained and left in one spot (front door) since the cleaning service comes immediately after guests check out.

The kitchen has every gadget you can think of and we were able to prepare meals for our large group. The screened in porch was perfect. A great space for multiple families to stay!

Beautiful property and wonderful experience

We had such an enjoyable time and the house was perfect. It was impeccably clean and exactly like the photos and description. the back patio area was fantastic during a gorgeous spring long weekend. Side note, the beds are SOO comfortable it almost makes you not want to get up!
