My stay was absolutely perfect- this place was just everything and more. VERY well stocked with anything you would have needed. Very Clean - Beds comfortable & the Owner was so easy and accessible to deal with. I only wished I would have had more time to stay. - I can't wait to go back!

Mermaid Cove was an amazing condo for our family. As a kid my grandfather had a 2 bedroom condo at tennis villa and it’s were I spent my summers. Mermaid cove was the exact layout with major upgrades. The screened in back porch with the amazing sunsets is were we spent every night. The other great perk with this place is if you forgot to pack it, this place has it already. Comes fully stocked with beach chairs, beach buggy, golf cart, condiments, plates, etc… saved us a lot of time packing and money.. Fripp island is a treasure. If you looking for a quite vacation without all the tourist congestion then this is your place. I would highly recommend Mermaid Cove for your next vacation

This property was amazing. It was clean and comfortable and I could have sat on the back porch the entire time I was there! The house was well stocked with everything we needed. We hope to stay here again!

We have vacationed on Fripp for years and years and have stayed in multiple places. We have never stayed on the marsh and really enjoyed it! The screened in porch at Mermaid Cove is worth booking this property! The owner has made access to the beach as easy as anyone possibly could. The golf cart, chairs and wagon provided were great. The property itself is uniquely decorated and absolutely everything was thought of to make everyone's stay perfect. We needed specific dates for this particular stay and could not commit to a week-long rental like most places require on Fripp in the summer. This property was a gem to find! The owner was extremely responsive to any issue that popped up. We were comfortable, happy and made lots of memories as a family during our stay. Highly recommend!

From the minute I saw this listing online I knew it was “my place!” The decor is even better than it looks online. It’s the cutest place we have ever rented. Margaret was available to answer all of our questions. Her hospitality was impeccable. Despite being small, the kitchen is incredibly well equipped. We cooked most of our meals. We had all we needed. Beds are comfy. Cable and internet worked great. Golf cart was a blast. View from the porch is gorgeous. We ALL loved our week at Fripp. I wouldn’t dream of staying elsewhere (unless we come with a larger group.) The Mermaid cottage is PERFECT for 4-5 people. I LOVED this little spot so much!!!

This is our second stay at Mermaid Cove and it did not disappoint. The house fits our family of 5 perfectly. Seating and bedding throughout are super comfy and the whimsical decor makes for a fun time. Our favorite spot is the back porch to look over the beautiful marsh with morning coffee and watch the sunsets in the evenings. One of the best views on the island! Margaret thinks of everything and has all the little extras covered. We look forward to coming back again.

We had a girls week with 2 adults and our 2 nine year old girls. We all loved the eclectic, chic look of Mermaid Cove. So fun! The sunset views overlooking the marsh are simply amazing!! Margaret was awesome and quick to respond to all questions and was very communicative about everything. So many perks to this cute place that you won’t find with other rentals on Fripp. We went on many rides on the included golf cart where we saw deer, egrets, blue heron and a couple of alligators. We also got to see dolphins and found lots of shells on the shelling cruise. We had a great time and hope to come back next year!! 😁

Colorful decorations, creative and fun! The spiral staircase was a challenge for older adults. Downstairs bathroom was a challenge for a larger adult.

Excellent online description of property; very serene neighborhood with gorgeous sunsets from screened-in porch; almost new golf cart included which is a must; and well-stocked pantry with more than adequate supplies. The charming spiral staircase was loved by the grandchildren. Owner was very cordial and exceptionally accommodating. Look forward to returning in the future.

First time visiting Fripp Island. The house was well equipped and was the perfect location for a relaxing stay on island. Very cozy house and the golf cart was nice to have as we explored the island many times over. We will definitely be visiting again in the future.

My daughter and I had a wonderful long weekend at this property, even in some pretty chilly weather. The best description of this cottage is absolutely delightful - the decor is awesomely unique and whimsical and we loved it. Furnishings including beds and deck furniture were all very comfortable, and everything you could imagine for making this property feel like home. The use of the golf cart to explore the island was a lot of fun (even in the cold). And the view of the marsh is spectacular - watching the birds and sunsets while cozy with a blanket on the screened deck was the perfect relaxing quality time I was looking for. A+++ all around.

We couldn't have been more pleased with our decision to stay here for the holidays. The marsh view & screened in patio were what sold us, but there were so many other really great touches. This was our first trip to Fripp Island and the night skies, beach sunrises and marsh sunsets were spectacular. We spent a lot of time outside & loved coming back to such an inviting home. The Christmas decorations were an extra special touch, and I'm happy to say the living room furniture was ALL very comfortable! Really enjoyed our stay and the home was full of so many thoughtful touches.

The owner is beyond kind and helpful. Margaret was always quick to respond to a message. The decor alone makes this condo worth a visit!! Gorgeous art and decor throughout the home. Lovely master bath with large shower and great water pressure. The kitchen was extremely well stocked for cooking. The honor bar just takes this place over the top. You feel so pampered as a guest in this cottage. The screened in back porch and marsh were lovely, a sunset view every night! My husband and I can not wait to book this property again!

Mermaid Cove is the perfect little eclectic place to stay on the island. Central location with amazing marsh views from the screened-in porch. The owner is very responsive, the house is amazing with (literally) everything you could think of on hand and this time (our second stay at MC) we even met the neighbor, who is a full time resident and very friendly as well. I dont leave a lot of reviews, but you can trust me on this ... you will enjoy the stay here.

Loved this small, darling Fripp house. Beautifully decorated, very comfortable, plenty of space for two people. Will definitely stay here again.

House was very clean and well stocked. Made great use of all the supplied beach items on hand (beach chairs and towels, sunshade, bicycles and golf cart). Owner was pleasant and helpful. Had a nice getaway!

Mermaid Cove was simply amazing from the time you enter. The decorations are incredible. The lazy boy loungers are very comfortable. Make your way to the patio and you will not want to leave. There you will experience incredible marsh view and the sunsets are breath taking. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. The golf cart was fabulous for traveling around the island. We were able to see deer,alligators, dolphins, raccoons, and even baby logger head turtles leaving their nest to make their big debut in the ocean. This place really feels like heaven on earth! My family is look forward to coming back soon!

Absolutely the best beach vacay condo we have ever stayed . The condo is well appointed and designer, coordinating fabrics make you feel like you are in a 5 star hotel. The golf cart was convenient and I like how it was electric . The ones we’ve used on Fripp before have been gas so they are loud and have gas fumes. We also used the two bikes throughout our stay .The porch was our favorite part of the Fripp condo . We ate all our meals overlooking the BEAUTIFUL marsh . Deer, two raccoon , egrets and herons were seen each day .We did not need guest cards as any boat or kayak trips we wanted to do , left out of Huntington Island. Took us less than 10 mins to get to Hunting island boat dock . In the past , We have not used the pools much and never impressed with the guess card pass restaurantsThis condo was an absolute dream . Margaret was responsive to any questions and made us feel at home .We are already looking at work schedules to see when we can return .Thank you so very much , Margaret!!

First time in Fripp Island. This property was everything we could have hoped for and more. Great location for morning walks, or watching the sunset in the evening. 5 minute drive to the beach with the included golf cart and beach amenities. Designer decorated, overall A+ experience. The honor bar is also a very neat idea. Already looking g forward to a return stay.
