Great position next to Fortezza castle. Family room with twin room and double room, comfortable beds. Pool lovely with nice surrounds. Shops in side streets very close by with lots of restaurants within close walking distance.

Very well located indeed - after our short visit to Rethymno it is difficult to thing about better location than this, very central, but still a bit just outside of all the buzz. Met expectations we had for its category, and, although were looking for slightly more budgetary options, was one of the best deals we were able to find at the time of booking.

Breakfast is ok, but not too excited if this is "mandatory option" already included in price.

Location very good. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Pool was nice with long opening hours which was appreciated.

Room oddly laid out that the twin room for the kids was far larger and nicer with the ensuite bathroom while the double bedroom for the parents (the people paying for all!) Was smaller with an inferior shower room. Breakfast ok, but not great.

Extremely friendly and always willing to help

Room was quiet with a wonderful pool and beautiful grounds. When I felt ill, I was able to arrange a MD to come to the hotel for a consultation at a very reasonable price. I would absolutely stay there again. Also, a wonderful breakfast.

Perfect location in the old town but not noisy and the bonus of a pool. We only stayed one night as we’d been staying elsewhere in Rethymnon but wished we’d have been here for the whole of our time. We had a late night flight and unfortunately the hotel couldn’t accommodate our request for a late check out but told us we were welcome to use the pool area and use the shower facilities there so we could freshen up before leaving - they even provided towels.

Nothing - it was better than the 4 star hotel we’d stayed at previously!

The location of the Hotel is perfect for the Old Town. We liked our room because it had a lovely veranda overlooking the pool and we had more than sufficient storage for all of our clothes, etc. This is not usually the case!

The breakfast was fine but there is definitely room for improvement. Some mornings there was no scrambled egg left and sometimes it could have been warmer. On the whole, there could have been a bit more variety. We enjoyed our breakfast though. On our last few days, it got a bit noisy around the pool in the afternoons as some guests didn't adhere to the rules.

I quite liked our room, was comfortable, even if quite simple. Close proximity to food store helped, mostly since they provided only breakfast.

Although hotel itself was in good condition the surrounding area wasn't. meaning it wasn't as pretty as it could be when looking around from the balcony or pool area. Food wasn't great, average really and always the same.

The location, the building and the breakfast were excellent. Water pressure in shower was also excellent. The front desk staff were helpful and kind.

The beds were harder than we liked. We requested a queen bed and got two single beds pushed together. It was OK for the nights we were there.
