Great location for us Comfortable property with everything we needed

Very comfortable beds , nice bedding and warm home.

The cottage is lovely and very comfortable, We would stay again. We found the outside area at the back of the house a bit slippery and unstable and maybe needs attention. Very good value for money..

We liked the location, the cottage was cosy and comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. Feedback below is purely for future improvements, not complaining!

A few things which could be improved: the painted stone steps from the back door were extremely slippery when wet. The wooden steps down to the yard were even worse and we blocked these off with the garden chairs after our old dog fell down! The top bedroom light didn’t work properly and flickered on and off. The kettle handle was broken and came away from the body. The toilet flush didn’t work properly. There was a microwave but none of the kitchenware was microwaveable. Cutlery and crockery was minimal; there were lots of steak knives but only two normal knives. The Booking.com description said there was a single bed and double bed in one of the rooms but there wasn’t. We were travelling with my niece and I had to share a bed with her as she’s too little to be put in a room on her own. There are two bedrooms (on two different floors) with a double bed in each. We were careful not to damage anything further but if people were more heavy-handed I think a lot of things would end up broken. This does seem like nit-picking but these are just observations, we really did have a lovely time and would visit again on our own.

Fabulous location for exploring the lakes. Has a pub next door open for food all day. The cottage is clean, comfortable with all necessities. Wifi is available on a pay basis.
