We really enjoyed our stay at this house. The location was great with easy access to a private pool and a quick drive to the beach. The house was clean and spacious and the property manager was always available for questions. I would definitely stay again in the future!

Our group of 8 adults and 6 kids including an infant loved our stay. There was plenty of room for families to have their own space and great kitchen/ living area to come together as a group and play games / eat. The wrap around porch was a plus- and more than one neighbor walking by said this house is their favorite house in the neighborhood

House was as per listing. Host answered my questions almost immediately and stayed in touch during our stay. Great location and the family had a great time.

Overall very nice place, location & lots of space. Great wrap around porch in newer neighborhood. Short drive or easy bike ride to downtown SH, also walkable 15-20 minutes. House needs several minor repairs which communicated to property manager who communicated they’d be addressed right away. She is very responsive to inquiries & some of the repairs happened during stay. Basement is a great space but needs some attention to being so cold with no separate thermostat nor A/C vents to close off??

The size / space / amenities were great. Plenty of room for a large family get together - multiple gathering areas. Convenient bike/golf cart ride to South Haven. Would have preferred a little more about the development, construction, and proximity beforehand. There were some maintenance issues that would have preferred were taken care of for the price paid.

The home is such a great space for our family to gather. Phoebe was SUPER responsive - probably the best I have ever had at a VRBO. Any issue that came up or question we had - she was "Johnny on the Spot" - EVEN on Christmas! Thanks so much!

Great location, within walking distance to the beach. Home was located in a cute subdivision with houses in extremely close proximity and no yard space. The soap/shampoo containers in the master bath were virtually empty and the one in the upstairs bath was missing. There was a golf cart/bike rental office in the subdivision but I’m guessing it was closed for the season, which stinks because it’s only mid October and we came for fall break. Very cozy home and very responsive host. In need of a few minor repairs such as trim by the upstairs tub was very stained and dirty looking and the porch was dirty and covered in cobwebs. The lamp in the master was missing a lightbulb and the main level fireplace wouldn’t turn on. The house is very close to downtown SA and the marina which are very cool places. We hope to visit again and would consider this property again, if minor updates could be made, as it was pricey with being in need of repairs.

This house is the perfect getaway for a long weekend in South Haven. Has all the comforts of home and you are a short trip away from other great lake towns. This house is located in a quite neighborhood, with a short walk down to the marina or to the beach. The host was accommodating and responded back to messages quickly. This place is a gem!

Everything about my business partners stay was just perfect, very comfortable and very clean we will definitely stay here again on future business in the area.

We had a very enjoyable stay in South Haven this past week. Our host was very accommodating to our family of 8 adults and 8 children. We had room for all of us with the entertainment area in the lower level and the nice living area and outside wrap around porch and very close to the beach.

Great home for a multi family gathering! Lots of rooms and different sleeping arrangements made for a nice and easy vacation for all of us! Host was very responsive and our very small issues were felt with extremely fast! Great location with lots of amenities.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The owner was extremely responsive and reached out proactively to make sure everything was ok. We brought a 3 year old and 7 month old and there were toys and accommodations for that age which was extremely helpful. The property was walking distance to a beach but not the main beach. The main south beach entrance is a couple minute drive and we decided to go there instead. We did walk to the other beach entrance as well. There is a community pool you can walk to as well. It was about a 5-10 minute walk and not easy to get a wagon to the pool, but we were able to carry it down steps. Overall I would recommend the location and South Haven for a trip! Hope to go back again!

Property was excellent! Quick walk to Lake Michigan, nice new development with a community pool. House was very clean and had great rooms for our two families to enjoy. One large dining room table actually fit our whole crowd which is hard to find in rentals! Owner was extremely responsive and answered all questions quickly. Home came stocked with toilet paper, soaps, towels, linens etc. would definitely recommend to others. Only downside is there is no private yard only communal green spaces.

We rented for a long weekend and celebrated our Mom’s 80th birthday The house was perfect for us and Phoebe was very attentive We would recommend staying here and would love to come again

We very much enjoyed our vacation and working with the owner. Since it was a holiday weekend, it was a bit noisy at times but that is to be expected......we will probably not visit again during a holiday week.

Main floor bedroom was perfect for the grandparents. Bedroom in lower level and additional bedrooms on 2nd level made it great for having separate spaces for sleeping (the night owls didn't disturb the rest). Kitchen had all the basics. Communication was great. Only downside was one of the showers wasn't operable (the property owner communicated this on check-in day & it cause us major issues), but we were able to have a later check-out with no issue. Would stay there again. This was my senior citizen parents first VRBO rental experience. They were delighted and so thankful that we could find a space to accommodate our group that was so lovely.

From beginning to end, our family staycation was amazing. Our host Phoebe was prompt with responses for any questions we asked. She also recommended an awesome restaurant for us to try for our first dinner there. The house was beautifully elegant with a warm feel.

Nice home with adaptable rooms for different sized families. Easy walk to nice small beach and marina. Owner easy to communicate with. South Haven is a lovely town!

House was exactly like pictured when we arrived, looked even better in person. Owner was very responsive to questions during stay and had plenty of supplies/toys/furniture for my 9 month old son. Garage had lots of great things to use at the beach! Would 100% recommend staying here.

We were extremely happy with our stay. Host was incredibly responsive and helpful, and the 1 time we needed something, the property management was right on it. Very clean, spacious and up-to-date house. Had a nice 2nd floor landing where you could do work. Everything worked well - tv, WiFi, etc. Very fun basement although it does get a little chilly (they have space heater and fireplace that helps). Great porch! Good location, walking distance to lake and short drive (or long walk) to downtown. My only concern is that the house in in a development where they are selling more lots and building more houses. Once down, it seems like the houses will be awfully close together. All in all, thought it was great!

The house is beautiful, well kept and very nicely decorated. Kitchen had clean usable dishes, pots, pans and appliances. Temperature for the main and second floor was comfortable. Basement was rather cold but the space heater was helpful in getting it to manageable range. We had a couple of maintenance related issues but the host and the property manager were quick and responsive. House has one covered garage. One additional car can be parked in front of the garage. Our third car happened to be the most used minivan and was cornered into a tight spot by another car from a guest at nearby house. It was there for 3 of the 5 days we stayed. The host and the property manager had hard time finding the owner to move the car to lots of other open spaces. The Newport Beach is within walking distance about a mile away. You can also drive there and park near the public access entrance. There are other public access entrances nearby too. There is Kal Haven trail nearby if you are into hiking. The town of South Haven itself is a cute little beach town. The Black River provides good entrance for boats to access Lake Michigan. We rented a pontoon boat from the resort marina and that was the highlight for our trip for kids and adults in our group. There are a few restaurants in town. Good restaurants usually had long waits. There are limited options if you have vegetarians or vegans in the group. That’s where nice kitchen in this house rental with pots and utensils was handy for some guests in our group. Overall, we were happy with our stay at this resort house and would probably stay there again should we decide to visit South Haven.

Phoebe was a fantastic host! She communicated often and checked to see if there was anything she could do to make our stay more enjoyable. The house was perfect for my family. The bedrooms were great and the common spaces provided more than enough room for all of us. Location was great as well.
