We stayed at unit 1012 from Friday April 5 to Sunday April 7. I will be purchasing a unit in the building later this spring and have stayed at the Galvestonian many times over the years. The check in process was great and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Unit 1012 was a disappointment. At the conclusion of our stay, we read the reviews and numerous people said that the unit needs a deep clean. Completely agree!!! The bathrooms were dirty. The tile had mold in the grout. Dust on the pictures throughout the unit, and a caked layer of dust on a picture in the guest bedroom that looked like it had been there for a year or more. Wobbly ceiling fan that needed to be repaired in the guest bedroom. We rented this unit because the owner was listed as a Premier Host, but this unit needs a deep cleaning before it can be rented out again. Upon checkout, we asked to see a unit in the Galvestonian Rental Program, and there is a clear difference between the Galvestonian Rental Program unit cleaning standards, and this unit which was listed through VRBO. I would not recommend staying here until the owner has the unit thoroughly cleaned - which is in agreement with other reviewers.

I stayed at this place with my family for a short getaway weekend. There was shattered glass behind one of the couches and my daughter stepped on it while playing. Needles to say that this ruined our vacation. We contacted the owner who responded by saying that the cleaners had cleaned the apartment.

It's been a while since we've stayed at the Galvestonian, have always enjoyed it & this was no exception. The 2 BR 2 bath was beautifully decorated & sparkling clean. Lots of amenities included. Right on the beach which was relatively secluded & uncrowded. Beautiful view from our 10th floor balcony!

The place is beautiful but could stand a deep clean. If it were a tiny bit cleaner, it would be the perfect Galveston getaway spot!

This condo had a beautiful view that looked over the gulf and was a great place to relax. It was super quiet. Location was away from people but an easy drive to Moody Gardens, Strand and Seawall to shop and eat. It had all the creature comforts of home if you wanted to cook your own meals. The condo was clean and had huge comfortable beds, plenty of towels and beach towels. This place is great for a family gathering. The outside was well maintained and many places to sit and hang out throughout the grounds and on pool deck. Carts available to help haul your stuff to beach. The beach was private and quiet. The lobby was run like a hotel. Parking was easily available. Our family was happy with the stay!

It was an absolutely wonderful condo, everything was clean in facility, the front desk was always warm and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay and would love to return in the future. The owner was readily available to answer any questions
