Our second visit to the villa. We just love everything about it. Going to book it again next year.

The villa was exactly what I needed and communication with Yassel was simple throughout. Peaceful but with easy access to all amenities, location was perfect for me - a short ten minute walk down to Marina Rubicon and just under thirty to the middle of Playa Blanca via the lovely seafront walk. The pool and patio area get the sun all day from early on but there's enough shade to take a break when needed! Also fantastically private and not overlooked

Marvellous terrace -spacious and completely private with a nice warm swimming pool (March). the owner (Yassel Perez) was extremely efficient and sorted out problems immediately.

Inside is a bit bunker-like as the living room has frosted glass both ends. not sure why, as the outlook is private at one end and could have curtains at the other. Detailed instructions in English for the TV channels would have helped as the main TV only gets Spanish speaking ones and Yassel had to come by to show us how to get BBC etc. Bathroom and shower are fine - lots of hot water. The Villa is actually 1.5 miles away from the main shopping/restaurant (20 minutes walk) area of Playa Blanca and although there are shops and restaurants in the Rincon development, the atmosphere is a bit more modern and building sites going up everywhere. but pleasant walks along the front towards Papagayo beach. No tin opener!

No information folder, lack of cleaning materials for cleaning bathroom. Hot water ran out .

The villa is very clean and comfortable. It is only a 10 minute walk from shops & restaurants. The small pool is great and the private outside space is fantastic. When we did have an issue with the water going off, the response from the host was excellent and very quick. Overall it is a really good place to stay.

3 very small quibbles:- -there are no mosquito screens on the windows - when we asked if we could stay on an extra hour or so on the last day we would have had to pay extra for another cleaner - the air conditioning is in only one of the bedrooms.

A fantastic villa in a brilliant location - close to Rubicon Marina and Play Blanca, yet in a quiet area. Fantastically clean and comfortable, and well-equipped. Lovely clear instructions from the owner regarding getting into the villa. Nothing to fault!

Very clean property and great location, quiet area and easy to access busier areas. Decoration was lovely.

Struggling to think of any negatives, maybe inclusion of some baby utensils, plastic/bamboo plates and cups?

Just back from an 11 day stay at Villa Tenike. The location was perfect, in a nice quiet cul de sac about a 10 minute walk to nearby shops and restaurants. It was very clean and decorated very tastfully. The pool/terrace area was so private which is what we like. We can't recommend Villa Tenike highly enough, well worth the price. Hopefully we will return next year.

beautiful and clean, everything you need in the kitchen, fab location in easy walking distance to restaurants and beaches, pool are just lovely

The bed was very hard

Fantastic holiday villa, clean, good location (easy walk to shops and eating places at Marina Rubicon but far enough away to not be noisy) lovely pool, inside and outside seating and eating area, spacious. The villa is well furnished with all that we needed and we felt at home. We had good communication with (I'm presuming) the owner who answered questions promptly. There is a bus stop nearby with buses every half an hour and an easy change at Playa Blanca bus station to the airport.

There isn't an oven but that easily got around - microwaved the pizza and then put it in a dry pan to crisp the bottom
