Didn't take breakfast. Location was good for our purposes. Got immediate help with a stuck washbasin plug quite late at night from a passing staff member.

No phone in the room (to call the desk if necessary).

Great room in a great hotel in a great location with options for breakfast very close.

Friendly helpful staff. Easy to park right outside. Close to supermarkets and places to eat. Shower room had some mould which I was able to wipe off but otherwise very clean

It's location and value for money. NO DINING FACILITIES, but next door is a large menu Wetherspoons and a short walk away is a Waitrose supermarket with cafe, plus 2 minutes walk away is a restaurant beside the marina. Although our trip was the beginning of February we did have a pleasant walk beside the marina, in the drizzle, we will return in better weather.

I didn't go to have breakfast as i hadn't slept because of my room being so hot!

The room temperature was far too hot and you couldn't open a window sufficiently to let air in. Hence i couldn't sleep at all. I didn't stay for my second booked and paid for night. The member of staff I spoke to on my exit couldn't give a monkeys!! Carpet was grubby - not comfortable in the room at all unless on the bed.

Very clean, staff very friendly and great value for money.

Brilliant hotel to stay and free parking it must have been a Travel lodge at some stage no restaurants at the hotel however the location near the Marina and the town center the wetthespoons is just a stroll away which one best I've been in quick service on Saturday bus stop to Bristol just opposite the hotel plenty of shops in Portishead

Having a chair placed under the open wardrobe, causing me to walk in to the shelf when picking up an item from the chair and causing me significant trauma to the top of my head due to the height of this open wardrobe

Lovely hotel in a great location. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Free car parking is available behind the hotel. The hotel is clean and spacious. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. It was nice and quiet when we stayed. Great location for a walk around the marina with bars, shops and cafes. Walking distance for the town. We had a very relaxing weekend here and cant wait to return.

Excellent location , lovely to walk around the marina, plenty of places to eat, near a Lidl and Weatherspoon's for breakfast Nice staff. It felt secure. Good free parking.

Location here at the Ibis Portishead is bang on. Free parking too. I have stayed here more than once, and the staff always have been so kind, polite and helpful. The room with a view of the motoway is great, and in the near future it will overlook the Portishead Railway. The room facing the Marina is also great, maybe the nicer view point. Room has coffee machine and plenty of storage. Comfey beds. Enough bars and restaurants on your doorstep, and with easy shopping too. Lidl is below, with Waitrose and Home Bargains a stone throw away. Weatherspoon's is a great go to also which is a stone throw away. Portishead's Marina and High Street is no struggle to get to by foot, and plenty of walks to do. Bus stop is right outside if you wanted a trip to Bristol, an hour ride up ( and hr back ). Also direct bus to Weston-super-Mare, same bus stop outside the Ibis. This hotel is just a win win all round. However no gym, or restaurant inside, but the leisure Center is right across the road that also has a good swimming pool. You can arrange breakfast from the front desk, which is a package meal.

Getting to the far end of the Marina may be too far for some where the other restaurants are and Co op, but really it's easy to get too, a safe walk, and a 15 minute walk and you are there.

Very convenient and great value for money. Staff are always friendly.

Easy parking, nice and close to our weekend venue. The room had everything we expected .

The room was rather stuffy when we arrived and as the weather was warm could have done with an airing though this was easily rectified. The bed was a good size and wonderfully clean but for us was much too hard which meant a couple of restless nights. I realise we're all different but this was a bit of a disappointment in an otherwise good stay.

The sink was blocked! Terrible smell in the bedroom. The bathroom was not clean with hairs on the towel. The previous occupier of the room left some medication!! T

The location was good, the room was comfortable.

I didn't get the continental breakfast, which i paid for, i wasn't told about this upon arival, the room was supposed to have a hair dryer, and there wasn't one in the room. I had someone banging on my door at 3am
