A perfect beachside place for a reasonable price

The wi-fi was unreliable

Good location right on the beach. Good hot shower every day. Large room with aircon, fan and fridge. Private sun loungers for use of guests. If you book knowing it's shortcomings you will be less disappointed. The lady in the mini market who looks after the house is very sweet and helpful and does her best.

Terrible breakfast every day...very small portion, one day inedible. Unreliable wifi in room. Very noisy as located next to access path to beach. No service to speak of...it's only selling point is its location and reasonable cost. Just be aware this is not a hotel or even a B&B. Guests have been complaining about the bad breakfast and bad wifi for years but nothings has been done to improve.

The location is amazing, right on the beach. You have a very nice restaurant next door, furaha. We really enjoyed our stay.

Before coming, I was expecting minimal service, but I got way more than I expected. Ndiro and his sisters are the sweetest people I've ever met. Breakfast would be served a little late sometimes, but always very delicious (shoutout to Bilal for being so patient with me and getting me everything I needed!) It's literally on the beach, a 2-minute walk to the water, and located near Furaha bar & restaurant. As for the wifi (i know everyone complains a lot about this) as soon as you check-in, the owner gives you 2 wifi passwords and you get to choose from either! one of which is that of the bar next door. Cleaning is done daily if you wish, the cleaning lady (also ndiro' sister) is an ANGEL ! God bless her, cleans very well, and is very attentive to what you need. overall, i loved the place, and I'm already thinking about going back asap!

maybe breakfast options, the fruit, and coffee are nice, but i hope there would be complimentary juice water, also there is no drinking water in the room , but you can buy some nearby.

Location is top notch, hosts are great people

Internet/wifi is capped and you'll use it quickly and then won't have anymore, vodacom signal doesn't work at the house

maybe it became a little too much local or the opposite; people trying to afford you a little too much of everything, mostly the first day, there after it was more relaxed

The location is unbeatable. At the bottom of the steps starts the sand leading to one of the nicest beaches in Zanzibar. It's right next door to restaurants and activities.

The accommodations are very basic. It would have been nice to have an additional chair or table or suitcase stand inside the room. That said it was quite comfortable there.

Location, cleanliness, friendliness of staff.

That I had to wait so long to check into my room and they offered no discount. The bed was incredibly hard, hot water was not working for my unit.

Location was the only thing, that was OK there...and sunbeds infront of the house.

Bad working air condition (very loud and squeaky!) Poor and VERY late breakfast (every day different times - even start 9:30 or later). No water, no juices!...nothing, just coffee (problem was even to get a milk). Sea was hardly seen, as infront of the terrace there was big wooden cottage (seen on their profile picture). No Wifi connection, atleast in first row rooms ("sea view" rooms). Very hard and old looking bathroom towels.

The location directly on the beach and near the reataurants. The hosts were very nice and heplpful. Breakfast was huge and delicious. Bedsheets were changed every two days. Strongly recommend! Very nice people!

The location is absolutely beautiful- right on the beach with many deck chairs right in front of the house to relax on. The rooms are exactly as advertised and good value for money.

Our air conditioner did not work for the duration of our stay, I’m not sure if it has since been fixed.

Close to Kendwa Rocks resort. Literally on the beach and breakfast provided.

they don’t tell you, you have to pay cash so have to go to a money changer as there aren’t any atms, Wi-Fi non existent.

Wi-Fi non existent, literally had to go and sit near the bar, even when it was shut to use their Wi-Fi for anything. cash only for the room doesn’t help, especially if you don’t know before hand.

Everything was great except for the harsh white light inside and outside on the balcony. Some warm white light would have been nice to make it more comfortable. Maybe it can be improved with lamp color or new warm white collored lamps? (just a suggestion)

Location was good, and the room was big enough and clean, comfortable bed. The breakfast wasn’t amazing but for the price you pay it’s ok. The only thing I didn’t like it’s the fact that they bring it too late, 8:30 but sometimes even 9, I personally wake up early and I’m on holiday to go see places and not waiting till 9 for my breakfast. Some mornings we left for excursions at 8 and we didn’t get to have breakfast.

I had hot shower only twice out of 9 nights.

Owner was super helpful. Great location. Amazing people. Made a solo traveler Feel Safe and at home.

Great location

The breakfast is a plate of fruit and pancakes but it did the job and you can't really expect something else for the cheap price.

The owner was very nice, we came in the morning and he accommodated us without waiting. When we needed something, he always tried to help us. The location was perfect, we did not miss anything.

It’s right on the beach. Very spacious rooms with air conditioning, and good water pressure.
